I have been going to Mexico for over 30 years. I have stayed at old resorts, new resorts, good resorts and bad. Oceano Palace has to be the worst resort I have stayed at. When we checked in, they upgraded us to the Pacific Tower. Nice room, beautiful views. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, hard. Water was shut off daily every morning, hot water was scarce. Food was horrendous. Recycled. The leftover fries and burgers from the snack bar was served on the breakfast buffet. Food was the same daily and cold. Wait staff was great. Happy and accommodating. Drinks at the bar were questionable. What ever concoction that was in the blender was what your drink was mixed with. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it was full of coconut. What was left in the blender at days end was poured into a plastic milk jug and used the next day. I would not recommend this hotel.

Love the Granada and always stay there, Daniel and his staff were amazing! El patio is like been at home for breakfast. The whole staff are awesome ( Letitcia victor Lucerna jullian and all the cooks. Thomas and Ramone outstanding at moro pool. Ivan and Esteban at lobby bar. Enrique at Mexican restaurant outstanding! My husband and I stayed 3 nights. The location was great for walking, catching a Palmonia for a tour, going to Mass at rhe Cathedral, and picking up amazing bakery at a place called Panama. The staff were friendly and hard working. Marco was a ”stand out” at the pool bar. He was super friendly and remembered us the next day. He is going places! We ate at the Thai restaurant the first night which was very good. Italian, the 2nd night was average. We enjoyed the live piano and the singer/waiter. The sushi restaurant was excellent our 3rd night. We were on the all-inclusive plan. Breakfast at El Patio across the street pretty good. Take bridge to get there. The place is perfect for families with kids! The kids loved the pool area and cliff jumping. It was very noisy even in our room since we overlooked the pool. The pillow cases were too short for the pillows and the sheets too short for the mattress. Fortunately, the mattress was comfortable. Pro Tip: Pool at the El Cid Granada is quiet and peaceful if you need this. We moved to a more peaceful resort on the outskirts for the next 3 nights.

El hotel está increíble! Realmente económico, moderno, las instalaciones increíbles, todo bastante bien! Hasta me permitieron entrar 1 hora antes a mi habitación por qué mi vuelo llegó antes. Lo único que sugeriría es que le den una pintada a algunas paredes dentro del baño que por la humedad se despintan, pero nada del otro mundo, realmente un hotel 10/10 en una increíble zona.
