Hotel Pantai di Melbourne

We were a group of 4 family members having a 5 night stay in a 3 bedroom apartment. Bedrooms were of an ample size and there was a large bathroom however the ensuite was a tiny bit small. There was nowhere to place your toiletries other than 1 shelf above the basin. Not a deal breaker at all though. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Airconditioning in the living areas was more than sufficient and there was an extra unit in the main bedroom. The size of the lounge/dining/kitchen area was more than ample. Netflix was a bonus as was free Wi-Fi. Can highly recommend. Close to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, bottle shops, etc. We will definitely stay again.

Maybe it was once nice but it has got so many issues with it and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. We stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom apartment and it was honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were assigned room 2201W. Here are the issues we encountered during our four night stay. 1. Power outage on our last day with no back up generator for the entire building (both east and west). It’s 31 degrees outside so opening the doors is also not a smart option. Started at 9am and is already over 4 hours. As I have breastmilk in the fridge for my 3 month old, this is my worst nightmare. 2. Safe battery is low. Why hasn’t anyone changed it??? 3. Bathroom shower head plate is broken so water sprays at you un-uniformly and overall unpleasant. 4. Water drips out of the shower but the fall doesn’t go to the drain so the floor remains flooded. 5. Due to point number 4, the bottom of the bathroom door has expanded and the door does NOT close. It is so jammed that it feels like you’d break the handle trying to jam the latch in and back out. 6. Stupid placement of the microwave. You can’t open the microwave door more than 45 degrees. How on earth do you put a dinner plate in there??? 7. Missing cups/ mugs and glasses. 3 mugs, two short glasses, two tall glasses and odd numbered cutlery. Just fix it, for crying out loud! The top rack of the dishwasher was also broken making it difficult to pull in and out the middle rack. 8. Upon check in, we didn’t have any cleaning supplies such as dishwashing tablets, hand washing liquid for dishes or laundry powder. 9. Rooms are so tiny. Don’t expect to be able to open your medium sized luggages inside your room. We kept our two in the so called living space instead. 10. Generally upkeep is not there. Walls have visible stains and grime from previous guests. The whole place just overall felt really really filthy. 11. Not family friendly either. There is a flight of stairs at the entry and no ramp. There is a wheelchair elevator to the side which takes way too long to operate with a crying baby. If you’re on your own, be prepared to lift you pram up or hope a Good Samaritan can help you because the hotel staff won’t. Clearly there are issues within management and housekeeping. I sense laziness and lack of hospitality understanding is to blame. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!

Location is good, about 10 minutes from Southern Cross Station and Skybus to Melbourne Airport. There are also tram stations nearby to some tourist attractions, as well as supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The room is generally fine, though some rooms of the same room type look smaller due to its configuration. We used the 24h private carpark that the hotel recommended, but was double charged by both hotel and the carpark itself. Initially the hotel staff wanted to refund the lower charge which we declined, and we had to spend some time and effort to get the manager to help settle with the carpark. Most staff were more approachable, while there was one or two who did not seem interested. Luckily, the issue was resolved in the end.

在澳洲很有名的連鎖中高端品牌旗下酒店，總體非常滿意，從價格到服務，如果再去墨爾本，還會再住這一家。就在Parliament邊上，離Chinatown很近，樓下有連鎖超市和很多好吃的和咖啡，離電車及公共交通步行5分鐘以內距離。 早上趴在窗台天氣好的話，可以看到熱氣球。 房間照片如圖，升級了雙特大床房，足足大了一倍。 因為在澳洲留學，對這邊稍微有些瞭解，看到有些評論，雖然對於部分情況也是十分神奇，還是想説下： 1.酒店都不提供免費的瓶裝水（雖然我也很希望他們可以有），據説因為澳洲的自來水是直接可以喝的； 2.木有拖鞋，木有牙膏牙刷，瓶裝沐浴露等等，據説是因為環保要求。 3.Check-out時間真的好早…11點就要退房。

I must say the location is 10/10 as its just a block away from southern cross station. We took the airport skybus and took a short walk w our 2 toddlers to hotel to and fro with our 4 check in baggages with ease. Coles” also across the street with tons of food options nearby. Its also within free tram zone so another great plus for us! Our rooms came with Continental breakfast. Selection during breakfast wasn’t great, but kids and us weren’t fussy. Our room smell a little stale when we check in initially but most times we were out and about and after a while, not as noticeable. Generally a fuss free hotel with great value. Certainly hope to be back soon!

I love this hotel. Compact size room for travel alone. Great location, great service, clean, room is bright and comfy. Recommended for all who hesitate to select the hotel. Don't forget to ask for shower cap. The internet signal is need to reconnect in time to time.

Booked this hotel for a work trip in Melbourne. Location is absolutely amazing, close to cafes, restaurants, shops and super good if you are staying around Collin St as it’s just right locate at Little Collin St. The architectural design of the hotel complex is really aesthetically pleasing! Staff is also very friendly, amenity sets are also well provided, the boutique brand of organic shampoo, shower gel and hair conditioner were very nice. I was surprised to see a Dyson hair dryer there sell well! Overall my stay at the Next Hotel was very pleasant, would definitely come back!

I had booked this hotel as I had got decent prices compared to other hotels in the area. After booking, I read horrid reviews about the hotel. after contemplating cancelling the stay, I decided to give it a try. It exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was brilliant. The housekeeping was to my expectations. The bathroom with the jacuzzi facility (SPA) in the bath tub was very good. The service, generally was good, thought I didnt call for room service etc. I made sure I did not tough any of the items to be purchased and eaten (as I had the experience of Las Vegas, where if you touched something, the sensors could detect it and you could get charged). The location was just brilliant - close to a tram line and in the heart of the city. Its close to the main biz center on Collins (you can walk there). I did not try the breakfast. Yes, admittedly, the hotel appears a bit old with slightly old (but acceptable to me) carpets. But I had not come in with the expectations of walking into a Four Seasons or a Sofitel. I'm a frequent traveler (5-6 trips a month); and for the price, in heart of MEL, this place is a steal. Dont go with the wrong expectation and you will enjoy the place. To sum it - BRILLIANT & most definitely VALUE FOR MONEY. I will DEFINITELY GO BACK. Thank you, Stamford team!

The hotel is run by to most horrific people imaginable.. who have no vision for long term building of wealth. But the fish rots from the head down, so the owners set the tone with a toxic culture that marginalises already vulnerable people. They hotel takes money from an organisation that is supposed to be housing people after a building fire and other people whom are at risk of homelessness. But, the profile the Unison Housing clients and treat them terribly when they check in and impose conditions that are unrealistic, unjust and but those already vulnerable people in danger of eviction from the hotel because they are being subjected to rules no other guests has to follow. The hotel look down on the Unison Housing guests and think they are better than them and treat them as such. Where’s in reality the real criminals are the people running the hotel that will do anything for short term immediate money by not keeping up with maintenance and think that is how you create long term wealth. The washing machines need fixing and are crazy loud. They didn’t supply toilet paper but the smallest amount that would only last a few times going to the toilet. No crockery, cutlery, anything to cock with at all, no toaster because the kitchen power point is so high up it is unusable, so you have to use it on the lounge room floor and if you did use a toaster you could possibly burn the place down. What kind of people take a booking for vulnerable people who have been through an incredibly traumatic event like a fire, impose unreasonable conditions and impose eviction on them for having support people caring for them and then evict them because of this. If this is how you need to make money there is something deeply wrong with the individual. They also have a person tracking the movements of Unison housing guests by having staff sit at the entrance and write down their comings and goings which is incredibly triggering for a woman that had a rapist stalking them. Knowing that information Unison Housing directed the hotel to place someone who had been stalked into an apartment that had been broken into and complied with that request. I will never and could never understand how people could place a vulnerable person with all this trauma into a situation like that and be okey with themselves afterwards and think they are fabulous in their cheap ass shoes. Me the victim, me the vulnerable the at risk of homelessness had better shoes and they look down on me because I had been through a fire and were being housed by Unison Housing who didn’t do a job that was any better. I would never stay at this hotel or any of the other franchises when this is how they conduct themselves.

We enjoyed our stay at Arrow on Spencer. Great location with trams and railway station at our door, plus excellent Vietnamese restaurant close by. Our checkin was efficient and friendly. Our room 710 was spotlessly clean, newly renovated and spacious enough for 3 people for a short stay. We will definitely rebook Arriw because of location, and
