Hotel berhampiran Capilla de San Lucas, Mexico City

I was excited about this place as I really didn’t want my family to stay at another Western cliche chain hotel that Mexico City is abundant in. In hindsight, I wish I had opted for the latter as … well, you know what to expect and, if need be, what to do to get your way. I had booked Hotel Flamencos for two stays, before and after our travel outside of Mexico City. The second stay was cancelled by me. Below are the reasons why.  A short summary of my trouble here: --I booked my room 6 months in advance (using a third party site) and communicated to the hotel directly about my expectations. All was almost overbearingly sweet, with promises of ”accommodation” showered all over. TO EMPHASIZE: I HAD ASKED TO LOOK INTO MY CONCRETE RESERVATION AND CONFIRM THAT MY TWO KIDS WOULD BE ACCOMMODATED. The answer? We confirm!  -- All niceness ended upon arrival at the hotel as, instead of a welcome, the front desk person extended a message of additional charges for my son, who is 14. Instantly, ALL this hotel was about was getting their additional 350 pesos (USD18) per night for my child. Me showing my  communication with the hotel didn't do a thing. Fine. Whatever! - It only got worse from there as ”the only room available” turned out to be A ROOM WITH NO WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, they have those at this place on each floor, so, in case you are considering this place, please know that your room is ”based on availability.” As I threatened to LEAVE, they somehow FOUND the right type of room (granted, we showed up shortly after noon, so they did give us a courtesy of an early check-in). Thank you!  - The location of the hotel is TERRIBLE: flee markets, warehouses, LOADS of traffic, HUGE CROWDS OF PEOPLE queuing up for busses or just packing the area are  truly not very enjoyable. Aside from street food, which you may not be able to get easily (because of A LOT OF PEOPLE), no decent places to eat around. Hands down, there are MUCH better areas! - I killed 4 mosquitos in my room. Apparently, there is a way for them to get into your room through the bathroom. The stench from the kitchen downstairs gets into your room the same way, too. -- The breakfast is basic and easy to get tired of. The breakfast area is small. A few other details: - Amidst my check-in debacle, I asked to speak with a manager. Unsurprisingly, that person ”had a day off” (of course! :)). And it was the same guy who handled check in who continued replying to my emails, obviously rejoicing in the opportunity to practice English, rather than put the situation right. -- The manager was not to be found the next day, either. Nobody, aside from the front desk dude, ever reached out to me. I mean... I had requested a conversation with somebody who runs this place. Cheap and clean. No frills. Sometimes noisy. Recommend for those that like a firm bed and sleep heavily.

어플로 사전 결제완료했는데 확인이 안된다며 다시 결제하라고해서 휴대폰에 저장된 예약번호와 결제된 내용까지 확인시켜주었는데도 모른다고했다. 한참을 그러고 나서야 트립닷컴 어플인걸 확인했다며 사과없이 룸으로 안내를 했으나 룸기도 고장. 곧 다시 교체해주었다. 방은 깨끗하고 시설은 괜찮았으나 몸컨디션이 좋지않아 에어컨의 온도를 올려놓고 잠들었는데, 한밤중에 누군가 방안으로 강제로 침입했다. 침입한 사람들은 직원이었고 그들은 방온도가 이상해서 확인하러 왔다고 했다. 그런데 분명 고객이 방에 있는걸 알고 있을텐데 어떠한 호출이나 노크도 없이 무단으로 침입해서 무척 당황스럽고 무서웠다. 직원들은 친절했으나 손님에 대한 배려가 전혀없다. 두번다시 가고싶지 않은 호텔. 동남아의 3만원짜리 방보다도 못한 서비스였다.

位置不錯在Av.Francisco I.Madero步行街上，出門向右可步行到拉美塔，藝術宮，向左通往索卡羅廣場。後來換到街邊房間非常好，每層樓的01，02，03號房是沿街的，陽光非常好，樓下就是小餐館很方便。下午和傍晚是很鬧騰的尤其是亡靈節期間，但基本都是晚上十點半打烊，這以後就安靜了。

Permaneci 3 dias en este hotel y a pesar de informarles que no habia agua caliente, nunca la tuve y me tenia que bañar con agua fria. Tampoco me cambiaron de cuarto donde si hubiera agua caliente

Отличный вариант! Семья с 2 детьми, дали номер стандарт с двумя кинг сайз кроватями. Уборка каждый день, смена белья, полотенец. Есть сейф в номере. Отель очень чистый. Персонал очень приветливый. Еда в ресторане вкусная. Брали завтраки: на выбор: яичница с беконом и паштетом, омлет, скрамбл, сэндвич с сыром и ветчиной, и национальное мексиканское блюдо, стакан свежевыжатого апельсинового сока, чай или кофе, масло, джем и хлеб. Единственный минус- нет чайника в номере. У отеля идеальное расположение! Рядом находится супермаркет от волмарта Бодега( можно купить курицу гриль, картофель фри) свежая, вкусная выпечка. Также рядом много кафе, где можно покушать. В пешей доступности: В 5 минутах парк с детской площадкой. В 15 минутах валютный обменник. Отель прекрасный, вернёмся ещё!

Lokasi yang sangat baik dan bagus kerana biliknya besar. Terdapat banyak restoran di kawasan kejiranan, jadi tidak ada kesulitan.

Este no es un Hotel, es un Motel, queda en un barrio conocido por haber mucha prostitución, entraban y salían parejas que solo se quedaban “el rato” me parece irresponsable que ofrezcan este lugar como hotel “familiar” pague 2 noches y preferí perder lo que pagué en lugar de quedarme un hotel en la mitad de un barro horrible!! Claramente perdí lo que pague porque ya las políticas de reembolso no me aplicaban… Jamás lo recomiendo, pésima experiencia!

The bell boy service is really embarazing, they want to help and touch the luggage 5 Meters before your final destination. Nevertheless in the critical points, is not possible to find one of them. They are every time in other places or occupied talking with other bell boys.
