Our stay started off terribly. We arrived at the hotel right on 3pm which is when check in is. Our room wasn’t ready until 445pm which was frustrating when you’re travelling with two small children. Unlike other guests, we weren’t offered any complimentary food or beverages at the bar to compensate. We had confirmation at the front desk that the cot would be in our room however upon accessing our room the cot was not there. When the cot was finally delivered by housekeeping, the mattress didn’t fit correctly so we needed to call to have this fixed. Luckily things got better after this. The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were incredibly helpful. We had a great stay but just be cautious of the check in time as I know we weren’t the only ones waiting for access to our room.

The bath had significant appeal with brass fittings and a funky, unusually shaped, double sinks. The Michelin-starred restaurant is the Casa's highlight attraction with it's menu of traditional Italian specials accompanied by a dash of East Asian influences. I fell for the fish (pan-fried crustaceans).............heavenly. So , if you want a small boutique hotel that aims to be your home away from home..............then try the........... The only place I will stay in Milan!! Would come back even if only for the incredible staff, however, the hotel itself is stunning. Andrea and Sergio from the Concierge made our entire stay! Would return just for them! They went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs everywhere we went. Thank you so much! The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. A piece of history perfectly preserved. The rooms are old world charm with modern amenities. The view was absolutely stunning. The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. I felt like I was right at home. The breakfast was lovely, the lounge bar had great vibes, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. You can walk to everything, the opera, shopping, the duomo. Wish I could actually live there. See you soon!

숙소는 두오모와 걸어서 13분정도 거리이며, 쇼핑하고 외식하기 좋은 장소입니다. 유럽에서 가격대비 안좋은 시설만 많이 봤는데 여긴 좋더라구요. 일단 리셉션 굉장히 친절! 냉장고에 든 물은 유료이나 커피머신 옆에 우유패키지처럼 든 물은 무료입니다. 조식은 가짓수는 작았지만 리얼 벌꿀이 진짜 너무 맛있고 커피도 맛있었어요. 그리고 로비에는 과채수를 준비해두셔서(낮에만) 로비이용시 많은 도움을 받았어요. 무엇보다 리셉션분들의 친절함에 밀라노에서 좋은 기억으로 돌아갑니다! 아 근데 M2 지하철 타고 갔는데 올라갈때 계단밖에 없어서 팔운동 심하게 했네요 ㅠ M1출구가 더 가까우니 환승해서 그쪽으로 오시는게 더 나을수도 있어요(리프트 있는지는 모르겠지만…)

The best hotel our family has stayed at. Great service. We had two connecting rooms. Used Hyatt points but they still treated us like royalty. 5:30 pm late check out? No problem. Amazing room. Amazing location. Gym was great. Breakfast was too much ($60 euro). Amenities. They gave us Easter gifts and chocolates each night. Linens amazing. Noon if you can with points. Made our trip memorable.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Scala hotel from the moment we arrived till the time we checked out. The staff was simply amazing!! Upon our arrival at that hotel, a darling receptionist named Greta greeted us. We had originally booked a superior double room so we asked Greta that we wanted to upgrade to a suite, she as well as her colleague Mathjs quickly accommodated us to a suite with a gorgeous view!! They were both very professional and very kind by going out of their way to help when we needed anything. I would like to mention another wonderful staff member, Rod; I had a reservation at a restaurant not far from the hotel, he literally escorted me so I don’t get lost as I’m not good with maps and directions😔 I mean I’ve never seen anything like this before. Hotel had good breakfast with beautiful live harpist playing which was very soothing, what a great addition. The Hotel is a great location within walking distance to the Duomo, the city center, not far from via Montenapoleone and of course the famous Teatro alla Scala.

The hostel was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and helped us with any questions and gave us recommendations of where to visit. Having a 24 hr reception was extremely useful as there was always someone to chat too if we needed help. Not being able to take our keys out of the hostel gave us peace of mind that we wouldn’t lose them, so it was nice to simply hand them in to reception and get them back when we returned from our outings. While at the hostel we decided to go to Lugano, Switzerland on the train and we didn’t return to our hostel for over 24 hours, when we arrived back we asked for our keys and all was well with our room etc… If I return to Milan and want an affordable accomodation I would definitely rebook this as it is walking distance in to the centre of Milan also.

I recently stayed in Hotel Milano Castello ( 3 weeks ago) and I feel I must this nightmare of an experience. I booked this room fairly last minute and because of it was charged a ridiculous amount (paying 400+) for a hotel room that contained cheap paper-thin towels, little to no bedding, in an all-white room that looked something like holding cell. Nevertheless, this is not why I am writing the review. Apart from the fact that I was being ridiculously ripped off, I want to talk about how the hotel manager kicked me and my boyfriend out of the hotel at 4 in the morning, and tried to force his way into our hotel room (to do honestly I can't imagine what). On July, 29, 2022 we returned to the hotel at around 10 pm sitting in the lobby exchanging quiet conversation about our trip to Milan. Next thing we know the night concierge approaches us, almost seething demanding we explain if we had taken anything from the supply room?? My boyfriend and I looked at each other and then him, dumbfounded as to what in the world he's talking about. He starts trying to follow us to our room, trying to snatch our hotel key away, all the while but of us are trying to explain there must be a miss understanding, as we had nothing to do with missing hotel property–– we found out later another guest had stolen alcohol from the bar. He tried forcing his way into our room, to which my boyfriend objected, screaming at us ”Go f*** yourselves” completely unprovoked. Genuinely seemed as if this man was having a mental breakdown and we happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He then tells us he's going to turn off the electricity in our room if we didn't leave within 30 minutes. At this point, its almost 2 in the morning and both of us have nowhere to go having assumed we would be staying in our reserved room. The concierge then tries charging us for non-existent items from the mini-bar which we hadn't consumed, and after 20 minutes of back and forth he decides he's not going to charge us for fake charges (what a relief?). After physically pushing us out of the hotel, insisting we must find somewhere else despite having already paid for this night at the hotel. I have never been reimbursed, never been contacted despite having attempted to contact them. In short, I can't believe a hotel with this reputation would allow a person as insane as this (flip-flop wearing) night manager to be apart of their staff.

Très belle chambre d’hôtel idéalement située dans le centre de Milan. Excellent accueil, très bonne communication, réactive. La literie est d’excellente qualité, les prestations sont très appréciables. Mini bar à disposition, coin permettant de prendre un petit déjeuner confortablement dans la chambre. the apartment is beautifully located in the Brera district, the apartment is spacious, clean, neat and very well equipped (2 TVs with Netflix, music box, fitted kitchen, large bathroom, large bedroom with wardrobes.. etc), there is nothing to complain about and the prices charged are relatively low for the place, But what makes all the difference and which deserves more than 5 stars is the service offered by the reception staff: Eva and Nicoleta are worthy of a service encountered in the best 5-star palaces, these girls are simply unfailingly professional and kind, every detail, request or wish is organized to perfection before, during and after the stay… a big thank you to Eva and Nicoleta, they will be the reason why I will not hesitate for a second to return to this apartment during my next trips to Milan. I spend the majority of my time traveling for work and leisure and I can guarantee that the little details and attention received especially by Eva during check-in mean that I can only thank them and recommend the BeLate apartments in via Tivoli in Milan
