Uncomfortable beds in the single rooms. Old and very dated. Food in the restaurant was terrible - was informed that burgers were home made. I have had better food from a burger van. Avoid this place

Spent two nights, hotel is quite lovely, staff are great and the food is so delicious, we ate there both nights. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, we had a room overlooking the beaches which for me is a bonus (although a bit extra $$$) Would stay again

The outside of the hotel was unkempt and grubby. Inside was not much better. Old mismatched furniture and in great need of decoration. The worse part was our room on the second floor. It was very shabby and dark. There was an extraction fan which was very noisy when on. The room was very over priced, considering the state of it. The food was less than average although breakfast was ok. I woukd avoid the place at all costs.

We had an amazing meal at the Morar Inn, the new menu was great. Staff are fantastic, everyone is very friendly and attentive. Akram was first class! Perfect location, 2 minute walk from the train station which is good for people using the Harry Potter train!

Great stay, and we think they don't get nearly enough positive reviews! Stayed for a night in June while travelling to Skye. The hotel is basically an old rail hotel - simple, but lots of space. Staff are lovely. Aside from location both on route, and the lovely beaches, the real highlight was the food. Had dinner there, with no expectations (basically nothing else in Morar). The food was terrific. My son's fish and chips portion was "as big as his head" and the rest, including a home-made chicken curry, was exceptional. Would suggest they work on making the the common areas a bit more cozy (e.g. the lighting/decor), as susupect this would attract more people.

We found all the staff very welcoming and friendly. My son and I arrived slightly later than planned but were able to go straight in for dinner. We had different meals and drinks, which were excellent. The quality and portion size was very good. Breakfast was superb. There was a great selection of well cooked quality food as well as fruit juices, cereals and fruit, toast, tea and coffee. Our twin room with a fabulous view was nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. There was a kettle, tea/coffee and shortbread in the room. The toilet/shower room was good.

I was part of the same group as Tracy and I don't think any of the group were happy with this hotel (the gammon was black btw) The staff shouted out meals and if people didn't react quickly enough, shouted out room nos. We were made to feel like numbers. The rooms were terribly furnished (see non- fitting toilet seat) and we were told there was no room service but ask if you want anything.

Grubby. As part of a coach party we were made to feel like second class citizens. Food, selection and portions were not good. Avoid the Gammon, not edible. Drinks very expensive. Avoid room ten, was refused when I offered to pay for an up grade. Staff very distant and uninterested.

Really nice reception from the front of house team. Professional and friendly. Nadia was brilliant, lovely manor and extremely helpful. Food , service and hospitality 9/10 Rooms clean, well kept and spacious. Breakfast was again really good with a great selection.
