Hotel berhampiran Japanischer Bungalo, Munich

Beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Dry safe underground garage parking. The hotel was very clean, everything seemed to sparkle. Would definitely stay here again if travelling to Munich.

This hotel is located a few train stops away (Station: Harras) from the central train station, so it was not difficult to get to it. The infrastructure of the city is such that getting around is relatively easy. One just has to follow the directions on a map, whether physical or online, and you are good to go. The check-in process was smooth. I realise getting up and walking to where my room is, that the hotel is quite large, so if you are not up to walking a lot; ask for a room close to the elevator. The room is large and well maintained. I appreciate the bottle of water on top of the minibar fridge for guests. There is a breakfast place just a short walk away if having breakfast at the hotel is not something you would like. Not a minor issue, but it does say in the directory of services that laundry items sent in before 8.30am would be returned by 7pm the same day. However, mine was not and luckily, I was not departing the hotel the next day. It was attributed to a manpower shortage, says the front desk team member; and I know it to be a prevalent issue worldwide. The internet connection in the room is also very slow, especially in the evenings, in my opinion. If you decide to forgo the servicing of your room, hang a “go green” pouch on the doorknob and you will receive a surprise gift. Aside from the bakery around the corner, there are a few eateries close by. Despite the shortcomings, it was an enjoyable, fuss-free stay.

In November once again business trip to Munich, and once again the hotel of choice K+K am Harras . So here are the findings: Location - at Harras as the name is saying - with underground parking lot , so you can park your car if you need. Connected to U-Bahn and S-Bahn (the public transportation system of Munich). In the area there a few restaurants and across the street a taxi station. Room - was clean, bathroom equally clean - bed was comfortable and a strong Wi-Fi signal on the hotel grounds made ”connection” to the web easy and simple. A/C available in the room - for heating in this case - nights in November in Munich are chilly. Due to C-19, masks were required, hand sanitizers available, distancing and use of the elevator by single person, etc, all in place. Service - check -in and check-out was fast and convenient - nothing to complain, the front desk personal very helpful, polite and speaking very good English. Breakfast - in the dinner of the hotel, was very good, a decent variety from day to day, with Bavarian classics and international favorites on the menu. Overall very good. Prices - I would say a good price to quality ratio - and they accept credit card. Overall once more a good stay at K+K, I can recommend you try it.

Nice modern hotel with sauna and good breakfast. Room was ok, internet connection was also fine. Location is good with nice parks, Augustiner brewery, supermarkets and public transport stops nearby. Overall service could be improved. Our room wasn’t cleaned every day, even with the request on the door lock. We asked for compensation and nothing was offered on their side, except for 20 euro discount but we have had the same price with booking website. Hotel manager has forgotten to extend our stay and I spent an extra 30 minutes explaining the same to his colleague and getting new keys to the room. Even after we got our room cleaned upon request our bed linen hasn’t been changed. Also consider the charge of 50 euro deposit. It won’t be released immediately after the checkout.

A really lovely hotel, 24 hour check in was handy, room was a great size and the kitchenette was handy if staying longer. Really close to train station but in a nice quiet area and quick into the city. Would stay again if ever visiting Munich. Beds all comfy and staff friendly.

I booked this hostel last minute, and I've never stayed in a hostel before, so I can't really compare it to other places. Despite reading reviews on Hostelworld about the single rooms being hot, I have no complaints about the room. I stayed in Munich when the temperature had a low of 20 Celcius and a high of 30. I had no issues with the room. I did have a large fan on in the room, which kept it cool. My room also had its own balcony and I sat outside to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect for those who love their own space or couple. My only gripe was that the WiFi was slow at times, so I couldn't even search the website to test internet speed. I had a data roaming plan, so this wasn't that big of an issue. I would stay here again if I'm back in Munich. A Lidl at the end of the street and the Train station is a 2-minute walk away. It couldn't get better.

Safe and convenient. Lufthansa express bus stops directly in front of the hotel. Superb location, opposite Central station. I would recommend to take Lufthansa Express Bus to avoid hustle by dragging all baggage down the road.

Super convenient location. Right at Munich central station. Even the room was not that spacious but it was suitable for 3 people. I would recommend to take Lufthansa Express bus to and from airport. The bus will park right in front of the hotel.

When we had to book a hotel in Munich, most of the other hotels were very expensive or they were booked out. The niu loco still offered rooms under 100€ per night (breakfast included!) under fair conditions. The niu is not far away from the motorway. Its neighborhood/surroundings are not beautiful. Luckily, the heavy traffic outside could not be heard in the building at all. You can park your car underground for 10€ per night. The next Tube station is within easy reach: you can walk there in 5 to 10 minutes. Line 6 takes you to Schwabing and Marienplatz directly (3€50 for one ride). My room was quiet, clean, and cozy. The bed was comfortable. There was no mini bar, but a TV with a big screen. In a box there were some games and a toy for children. The bathroom was extremely clean. I was fascinated by the disco lamp, which produced “psychedelic” light effects on the ceiling and walls. The lounge opens up into the breakfast room. Their breakfast offered a wide choice of rolls, different types of delicious German bread, various jams, sausages, fruit, yoghurts and mueslis. At the coffee machines there was self service. The coffee tasted good. Contrary to what you can read in some of the other guests’ reviews, I found the staff open-minded and cooperative. In a nutshell, I would readily return to the niu loco, because it has got many more advantages than disadvantages. My colleague wants to return there with his family.
