Hotel berhampiran Olympia Triumphans, Munich

we started with the first surprise , which was the location , the room is on another building , not on the main hotel. then we went to the room , and it was dirty , hair left behind. I had to go immediately to take some towels , because I could not walk because of the stains. there were spiders and the windows were not clear. then the shower water didn't go down , so I had to shower with the minimum water flow , otherwise it would flow on the bath and then room. there were rumors , somebody was working from day one . and then suddenly they turned off the heating. so imagine a room with no heating on Munich winter, especially this one. and to top it of , they where about to poison us , because they used Ozone to clean the rooms. I can say that this hotel just isn't worth

Arrived a few hours (not more than 3!) before check in but the room was ready so we checked in. Room was lovely. Bathroom great and shower lovely. Unlike the Leonardo hotel in Frenakfurt, I was not asked if the visit was for business or private. Took parking which was the going expensive rate. Breakfast ok. Never had scrambled egg that I could slice but I did here. The toaster was bottom of the range too. That said, I would stay here again and would recommend to other people.

Poor hotel. Rooms dirty and tired. Walked and there were blonde hairs all over the floor- clearing hadn’t been hoovered. Tired rooms, wallpaper coming off, marks all over bathroom. Rooms were so nosy. You could hear the room next to us shutting their curtains. Poor sleep quality. Staff did not smile. Key card kept stopping working. Reception blamed it on being kept with our phones- they were no where near each other. Walked past a couple having the same issue… Munich is such a beautiful place, when I visit next time it won’t be with this hotel…

Very good location with the airport express bus stopping right in front of the hotel. Directly opposite Munich central train station. Next door is a small convenience store. Extremely good value for money with room big enough for 4 beds, many power outlets and all bedsides came with bedside reading lights. Has a desk for traveller who needs to catch up with some work. Toilet is well equipped complete with clean towels, heater, hot water & great shower area. Wardrobe is large and this is supplemented by an additional hanging rod beside it. Room had a musty smell when we first entered but this dissipated quickly once we opened the large window to let him fresh (& super cool (cold?) air. Reception gave us a brand new kettle (packaging intact with all the plastic coverings) and this helps us to eat some instant noodles- we checked in too late to have any decent meal. Highly recommended to travellers who need an overnight stay to catch a train the next day from Munich central train station. Our experience is contrary to those who wrote negative reviews.

This hostel is awesome. The staff are really helpful and accommodating. We came a few hours before the check in time (1500 hrs) and we were greeted, checked in and shown somewhere to securely leave our luggage while they prepared our rooms. The room itself (ours was a 10 person) is clean, with clean sheets and a very clean en-suite bathroom/shower. The rooms have air conditioning, however it was very warm at the time of our visit so I think it was struggling. Nonetheless the room felt homely and has a locker to put your valuables/clothes in (like a football locker). The breakfast is a continental breakfast priced at €8. There are many meats and cheeses along with: cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurt, juices, coffee and scrambled eggs. The breakfast is a buffet so you can really make the most of it for €8 per person. The bar area itself is very nicely decorated, and run by very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hostel to everyone. Wether you’re looking to chill out or party this hostel has everything. Would like to say a huge thanks to Kimom and Giorgos in particular. They made our visit extremely fun and provided many suggestions as to where we should go/ avoid. I have no doubts the rest of the staff are the same, but these guys made it extra special. Thanks dudes!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the A&O Laim and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! This charming hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way, making my trip to Munich truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to find my room to be clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The modern decor and cozy ambiance instantly put me at ease, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. With a wide variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty eggs and breads, there was something to satisfy every palate. The dining area was spacious and well-maintained, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional service. They were always available to provide helpful recommendations, whether it was suggesting local restaurants or providing directions to nearby attractions. Their genuine warmth and willingness to go the extra mile truly made me feel like a valued guest.

Perfect hotel room, Fridge, comfy beds, English TV, WIFI, Air conditioning 10/10, Parking garage big parking bays, 10/10 . The let down 1/10 is Breakfast I used my own cereal no real effort put in here guys. The Girl on check in 10/10 Beautiful she alone makes this hotel perfect! Fix Breakfast and you are on a winner 10/10 .

Simple hotel, extremely busy with very rude staff. Stayed for the start & end of a tour. There were no clean towels so we were left with 4 hand towels to dry ourselves with. Desk staff rude & uninterested. Breakfast extremely busy and felt like feeding time at the zoo. If travelling for myself again I definitely would not stay here

I stayed with my family for 4 nights. Everything was great location, breakfast and clean rooms. However, I would like to point out the exceptional behaviour of the whole personnel with a special reference to the manager and Mrs Marianna Zampa. Thank you once again for your great help.

We recently stayed at this hotel while we were visiting Munich for Oktoberfest. The hotel is out of the center of town so it takes a car ride to the nearest train station to catch a train to downtown Munich; but overall no more than 40 minutes to get to the center of town. There is onsite parking (no fee), as well as proximity to restaurants and other services (again- a car will be needed). Being on the outskirts of Munich the hotel is easy to locate and to get into and away from. The rooms are a bit smallish but overall were clean and adequate. A good daily breakfast was provided with fruit, cereals, pancakes and a few hot dishes. The service was hit and miss- especially at the front desk. We arrived late after a delayed flight and the desk clerk was waiting for us and got us into our room straight away and was very friendly. On another occasion we had been locked out of our room and the key deactivated- when we visited the desk the young lady barked at me “I don’t know you- we have no one by that name here- who are you”? She then stormed off leaving someone else to pick up the pieces…it turned out the reservation was in my wife’s name but the clerk clearly did not want to be bothered with us. This is a good hotel if you don’t want the hassle with negotiating the hassle of central Munich and is close to the main highway making for easy travel onwards.
