Where do I begin! We were greeted on arrival by the lovely lady Labrini, with open arms and a big genuine, welcoming smile and personality who is so so helpful and knowledgeable. The view from the hotel is incredible where you eat breakfast or have a few drinks and you can see the beautiful sunsets. The rooms are lovely even if they are a bit smaller it adds more of a personal apartment feel. The pool area is also gorgeous, nice size with a shallow and deep end too, not to mention having full exposure of the sun so you are guaranteed to have a beautiful tan! Another star of the show is Joanna! A smiley, genuine, lovely girl who is always happy to greet you as you come in to ask about your day or help you with anything you need. It’s lovely how the staff make you feel as one family together. The location is also incredible only being 5 mins walk (2 small but steep hills to go up and down) from Ornos beach which has plenty of beach clubs/chairs to choose from or if you go all the way to the end there is little room to just fit your towel down and just in the sea, the sea is also so clear and clean. Overall everything within this holiday from hotel, staff, location, has been 10/10 and i cannot wait to hopefully come back again! Thank you Essence! :)

I feel truly blessed to have stayed here on my latest trip to Mykonos. Great location, minutes from the Ornos, a beautiful beach village which also has a bus station with regular buses to other locations. The hotel is immaculately clean, rooms are comfortable and the design is minimal and contemporary. The pool boasts beautiful views and is super quiet and relaxed. The most important reason I loved this place so much is the amazing staff that work here. Nothing is too much trouble and you feel you are really treasured as a guest. & Not for reviews or for tips I may add, but because each member of staff is sincere and genuine. I loved spending my time with them and it was like coming home after I’d been away from the hotel. Thank you for having me !! It was a magical experience!

Amazing hotel. Literally a five minute walk to Ornos beach and bus terminus/water taxis. A little steep in places if you have mobility problems but in all location excellent. Hotel is impeccably clean and all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Room is cleaned every day by the most lovely cleaning ladies. If you have a room with the view across Ornos town you won’t be disappointed. So pretty and amazing sunsets. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mykonos Essence and would definitely return ❤️

The receptionist Labrini is the most welcoming lady that gives positive energy every day and will do what it takes to make your stay the best. All other staff are the same with a lovely smile and friendly conversation. The rooms are petite,but manageable,with lovely shower and fridge freezer. Cleaned beautifully everyday with fresh towels provided, without the need to ask. The breakfast variety could be improved for vegetarians as mostly the same every day. However I would revisit in a heartbeat. The pool area is gorgeous and views from the hotel magical. About 5 minutes away is the lovely Ornos beach which provides everything you will need. I can wait to come back again one day.

Simply perfect! I would 100% recommend to anyone who are looking to go to Mykonos. We had no problem in finding our driver after getting off our flight. hotel is about 15 minute drive from airport which is perfect! from the moment we entered this hotel we felt at home and more importantly safe! We were welcomed by welcome drinks and smiley, kind faces. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. Our room was beautiful, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows! fresh towels and bed sheets where changed everyday. The housekeeping cleaned the floor, tidied our belongings every day they were amazing! Breakfast is limited but just what you want, food is available to purchase during the day which was lovely too! Pool area was clean and quiet and they provide towels! On our last day we had to check out at 11am and we was leaving at 6pm to get to the airport. We spent all day at the beach while we left our luggage with the staff and kept it safe. There is a room with two showers, towels and toiletries to use if you need. Enough room to get changed and feel private while getting changed before your flight. We loved this as we had all day to sunbathe and go in the sea etc knowing we could shower before we left as we couldn’t go back to our room. there is a 10 minute bus to Mykonos town which costs €2 each way The beach is a 5/10 minute walk from hotel with shops etc around. It really is the perfect hotel! Thank you so much for making us welcome, we will back in the future.

We stayed in a Divine Seaview/pool view room 104 ( 101-103 while have a sea view also overlook the carpark and flat roof rather than pool). 104 had a great view and had a large terrace with deck chairs and table and chairs. It would be much better to replace the deck chairs with sun loungers , a wasted opportunity. Staff were friendly and did some of the best frappes we have had. We did not eat in the hotel other than breakfast. Rooms are clean and functional , Not wow but do the job well in white Mykonos minimalist style. We have stayed in different hotels in Mykonos and you can pay a lot more with more staff and more exotic decour or pay less with less amenities. You get what you pay for. If you want a hotel within a 5 minute walk of the beach with great view and a pool this is a good choice. Breakfast was a buffet and ok with hot and cold choices as you would expect , nothing wrong with it but not spectacular. Did love the Greek yogurt with honey , walnuts gojo berries and chai seeds so it was fine. Would stay here again

We stayed for a long weekend as a group of 5 friends. The hotel was very clean, spacious and beautiful. The views were incredible, especially the sunset! We only ate at the hotel once as we found it to be quite pricey compared to other restaurants in the area. Breakfast wasn’t great. If you don’t get there early then there’s not much choice. They don’t have many hot options and they didn’t taste too nice. The area where the hotel is quiet. However, the beach in or Ornos is lovely and there’s a bus into Mykonos town that 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The pool area is lovely and very quiet. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom had lovely amenities. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful and we would book again.
