Ulasan Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Kanayama Annex

Manage to stay one night here. Lovely and clean hotel. Free cofffe in the lobby. Visit during winter so when step into the lobby and get a nice coffee, feel very comfortable.

The position of hotel is convenient. The staff is good and helpful. I had a nice stay here.

Good location for local restaurant and dinning. Recommend travellers to stay.

The hotel location is less than 5 mins to Kanayama station. Some staff in the hotel are quite friendly and helpful. The room seems new and very clean. Recommended.

Everything was good but the socket next to the bed for charging the phones were poor. I had a phone, ipad and apple watch that needed charging but only managed to charge my phone because the charging was too slow. Took too long to charge. Check in time and check out time can be improved. If housekeeping were more efficient or if they were not under staffed. Other than that I am please with the hotel. Location is great and next to Aeon is a plus. My second stay here. 

The location is very convenient!

The location of this hotel is excellent. The staff are polite and helpful though not well communicated in English. It is very close to Kanayama Station which brings great convenience for travelling to different places. Another bonus is Aeon, the Japanese Department Store is just next to it. One can go shopping or buying fresh food daily easily. Will sure to stay here again when coming to Nagoya.

Room was not too bad. But pillow a little hard.

Close to the metro, Aeon just 1 minute walk from the hotel where you can find anything you need for your trip, super fair room rate, I definitely will stay here again next time.

Very convenient and clean. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, especially with the Tendon eatery and Aeon supermarket at our doorstep. They close late and was good to have that at our convenience.

I booked a room from 12/28/23 to 01/08/24. I came to Nagoya to visit my son who is a student at Nagoya Gakuin University. The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough. My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome! I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough! I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel! A wonderful 3 level grocery/department store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that. Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s . Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!! If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own. I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! A mom right at 60 years old out of her comfort zone from Alaska! Thank you Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Kanayama Annex to all the Staff and Housekeeping for a wonderful stay in Japan!
