I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya Hotel, and I want to highlight some exceptional service that made our visit memorable. Thoughtful Amenities The welcome ice cream for my sons was a delightful surprise. It was a thoughtful gesture that made them feel special and added to our overall positive experience. Duty Manager Mr. Andei Ho One standout moment of our visit was when Mr. Andei Ho, the Duty Manager, came to assist us during one of our evenings at the hotel. Being a Hongkonger himself, he made us feel right at home. When we returned from a day out and needed to store some belongings at the concierge, Mr. Andei approached us and warmly communicated in Cantonese. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly made us feel welcomed. Proactive Assistance After our check-out, Mr. Andei noticed us trying to call an Uber in the lobby and proactively offered to help by calling a taxi instead. Given that we had too much luggage, he went above and beyond by marking the pick-up and drop-off locations for us at the Airport Express Station, ensuring a smooth departure. One day, he saw us waiting outside for a taxi and proactively asked a colleague to come over and see if we needed help calling a taxi. Housekeeping I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for their outstanding work. They kept our room impeccably clean and tidy throughout our stay, greatly contributing to our comfort. Summary In summary, my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya was fantastic, thanks to the outstanding service from Mr. Andei Ho and the entire staff, including the diligent housekeeping team. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Hotel is clean, front desk staff are friendly and can communicate in English. No issue with check in/out. There is parking available, with fees unfortunately. Thought hotel guess should be given complimentary parking.

Nice stay with courtyard Nagoya. Will stay against in next trip

On our trip from Kyoto Uji to Nagoya and then Takayama, we chose this Courtyard by Marriott hotel. It truly lives up to a five-star standard, with a fantastic overall ambiance. Both the lobby and restaurant are very spacious, and the rooms are a good size too. It's conveniently located just one subway stop from Nagoya Station. Highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located. The rooms are very spacious, perfect for families with children. We visited Legoland, and if we come back, we'd definitely consider staying here again. The buffet was also great!

Room was spacious. However daily make up room service need improved as trash and used cup was not clean and disposed. Overall good.

Very satisfied. The hotel is modern and relaxing, and the rooms are spacious. We booked a twin room and the beds were very comfortable. Our family of three had a great stay. The location is a bit average, but the hotel itself is very comfortable.

The facilities are brand new and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also appreciated that children stay free of charge and breakfast is complimentary. The only minor downside is its distance from the subway station, which is about a 10-minute walk. However, a taxi ride is quite affordable, usually costing around 20-something RMB.

Not suggested to walk to hotel If with heavy baggages back and forth Nagoya train station, take local taxi is just under 900yen. Easy and save time.

This is my absolute go-to hotel whenever I visit Nagoya! The service is top-notch! Can't recommend it enough!

A bit far from the subway.

To be honest, the hotel was very mediocre – the service was average, the room was average, everything was just… average. Be extremely careful with the floor next to the bathroom; it's incredibly slippery! Both my mother and I slipped, even when wearing the hotel's slippers and despite there being a mat on the floor when stepping out of the shower.
