I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. I woke up with multiple bites on both of my legs. At first, I assumed they were mosquito bites, but the pattern and severity later confirmed they were 100% bedbug bites. While the top of the bed looked clean, the underside appears to be a breeding ground for bedbugs. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel. Because of this, I now have to deep-clean all my belongings, isolate my luggage, and pay extra to run everything through a dryer as soon as I got home. It’s a huge waste of time, money, and energy — something no guest should have to deal with. The hotel needs to urgently improve its cleanliness and address this bedbug issue immediately. I cannot recommend staying here until they resolve this serious problem.

Small independent run hotel. Modern (new) bright rooms. Great location to walk to restaurants and lakefront. Very friendly owner. We had free parked right next door. Will definitely book again if we go Sun Moon Lake again.

I travelled solo to SML and happened to be in the path of Typhoon Kang Rey. I was glad to be staying here where the Ops Mgr Jiaqi hosted well. She offered me suggestions on what to do or where to go and check on me to make sure I'm well settled in. This place is also relatively new, nice and clean and very well set up. It is situated close to the old street where all food options are available. Also well situated to bus stop and walking trails. I will definitely come back again if I have the chance to.

Stayed at Riyue Fenghua, the location is very convenient, just a little behind the old street, less than three minutes away, the service is good, there is an elevator inside, the water pressure in the room bathroom is very strong, and there is a dry and wet separation. There is a folding sofa and a small table on the second floor. The air conditioning and heating power are good and comfortable

The breakfast is good, there are small bugs in the room, the hygiene needs to be improved, the staff service is good, it is close to the pier and convenient for boat rides, you can also walk around at night, and the transportation is convenient.

The service is thoughtful and the staff is friendly. The room is clean and tidy, with all the basic supplies available. The layout is satisfactory and the size is moderate, suitable for two people to live together or one person to go alone. The transportation is convenient, and the meals can provide a diverse customer base.

The facilities are new and very good. The location is close to the shopping district. Parking is available and the service is very good. The breakfast is very good.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The B&B is ideally located behind Yidashao Old Street. It has two separate buildings, one for the first and the other for the second. Our family was split into two different buildings. The ceiling in Building 1 was leaking, but it looked very new. Building 2 was quite run-down, and the water pressure was very poor, with inconsistent temperatures.
