Hotel berhampiran Ekklesia New York, New York

My fiancé and I stayed at this property to avoid a long drive home after attending an engagement party in the area. I see some of the other reviews mention a smaller parking lot which is accurate (but really what do you expect in Queens?) but we had zero issue getting a spot. The moment we stepped into the lobby we noticed that it was warm, welcoming, and even smelled pleasant! The front desk gentleman was kind courteous and professional. The room itself was exactly what I expect from a Marriott- clean, and accommodating! My fiancé was especially impressed with the very sleek and modern shower, which I believe had been updated since the last time we stayed. Overall our stay albeit short was very pleasant. We felt very welcomed and comfortable and slept wonderfully as we always do at a Marriott property. We also happened to meet the General Manager as we were checking out, who was very warm, professional and courteous to us.

I stayed originally at this Hilton Garden Inn back in December 2017 (apologies for not leaving a review then!), and we had such a pleasant experience we did decide to come back the next time we visited NYC. The best thing about this Hilton Garden Inn is the close location to both Queens Plaza (literally 20 seconds walk away if you pick the correct subway entrance) and Queensboro Plaza (a little further, but only a few minutes walk) subway stations to get you into Manhattan within 10-15 minutes. This alone makes it so worth the price!! When I go on city breaks, my thing is to find hotels a little further out of the center but close to public transport links and it makes a huge difference in value - this is the absolute perfect fit to this rule for those who don't mind staying out of the center of Manhattan. In addition, I have never felt unsafe in the area that the Hotel is located in too, it's a busy public road very close to the hotel (you can't hear this from the room) so you're never in a quiet area alone if you're walking at night from the Subway. This is not a 5-star hotel so if you're looking for this it may not be your thing, but it is I think one of the best value hotels that can be found in the whole of New York City! When you compare the price of this hotel to other similar hotels in Manhattan, this can be purchased at sometimes more than half the price of other similar (and worse) hotels that in central Manhattan, and does seem to be one of the cheaper ones located outside Manhattan too, but the cheaper price doesn't mean a lack of quality when compared with others! The rooms (from memory) hadn't changed between our two stays in 2017 and 2023 (and do seem older than this) so perhaps could be doing with an update, but they are large rooms and ours had a small sofa located at the end of the room too - beds very comfy. Unfortunately, the air con didn't work our first evening so it was stuffy on the first night, however we didn't bother to raise this as we were so jet lagged from our flight and I'm more than confident the team would've have resolved this for us if we did! Thankfully, it worked the rest of our stay so the room was extremely comfortable after this time. We were located on the 11th floor (I think), and apart from one day where one of the two lifts were broken, we didn't have to spend long waiting for the lifts and got from reception to our room in a few short moments. The reception/lobby/breakfast area seems to have been updated between our stays in 2017-2023, is modern and clean with a large bar area too if required. We didn't have breakfast there or food so can't comment on the food offering. We stayed due to a planned engagement in NYC (she said yes!) and we did tell the Reception Team about this (apologies, we can't remember the woman's name) to see if there was anything they could do as a congratulations, just a simple message in the room for example - she did say leave it with her. Had a brilliant experience here. For such an affordable stay the quality was excellent, the room was lovely, clean and cosy and the services offered were great - kitchen, lounge, computer/library area and laundry room. They also have activities like movie nights which is such a great bonus. The staff were extremely kind - especially Yari - who helped my friend and I when we missed our bus. We really felt taken care of. The location is also great and well connected with a subway station a few minutes away and it felt safe walking home at night. I couldn't believe we found this place and that it was as good as it seemed, especially for NYC! I would highly recommend staying here. Biliknya tidak besar dan kemudahan serta peralatannya agak lama, tetapi agak bersih. Katil juga sangat selesa dan membantu untuk tidur. Ia sangat dekat dengan Status Ferry (percuma, setiap setengah jam sepanjang hari) dan tempat berbayar Patung Liberty/Ellis pulau berlepas. Tarikan berdekatan berada dalam jarak berjalan kaki, termasuk Dewan Persekutuan, Rizab Persekutuan Amerika Syarikat dan Gereja Trinity Ia mengambil masa setengah jam untuk berjalan kaki ke Jambatan Brooklyn dan mengambil gambar di tengah-tengah jambatan. Terdapat Whole Foods Market di Wall Street tidak jauh dari hotel. Selepas membeli makanan, anda boleh makan di restoran di tingkat bawah. Ia mempunyai sup panas, sushi dan makanan Barat harga restoran, cukai dan petua, Nilai yang sangat baik untuk wang.

West Side YMCA is excellent for what it is! It’s a reasonably priced hostel in an amazing location. Right across the street from the west side of central park and a 5 min walk to the Columbus Circle subway station, which gives you access to various main train lines to the various neighborhoods and boroughs of NYC. You also get access to the pool and gym. My only gripe was with the cleanliness. The beds, sheets, and towels were clean (thank god), but the floor could have used a sweeping and a cleaning. Like I said, great for what it is. I’d definitely stay there again!

Had already stayed 3 nights in another room in the same hotel and wanted to stay another night, but couldn't stay in the same room cause it had been booked. This time didn't get the same view, but it wasn't bad all all. The bell man downstairs hold our luggage while we waited to checked in. Will recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to come and visit New York City.

The hotel is more like a hostel. Very small rooms small double bed or bunk beds because you will not fit two single beds in the room. Shower very good. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Yes tv. No breakfast included. You have to go to a nearby cafe to get a proper meal. You can get various coffee and tea bagels scones continental style breakfast in the bar area in the POD. For 4 nights accommodation only Thursday to Sunday cost app 1200.00 euro per room.

I had an 1 night enjoyable stay. The front desk was very pleasant and got us settled in right away. The elevators go directly to your floor which was nice. The room was clean, and nice decor. The room was small , but i didn't mind. The bed was comfortable and plenty of soft pillows. I really liked the shampoo products that were in the shower. The toilet and the shower were seperated by a sliding door that did not go to the ceiling. You can defineltly hear the person in using the toilet. The shower had a tinted glass, but the the body silluette could be seen for sure. I was with my husband , so I didnt mind as much with this privacy issue, butI would have preferred a bathroom with a full door to the ceiling. for added privacy. A girl has to leave her private bathroom matters to her guy's.imagination. All in all is was a nice stay... walking distance to everything. Check out was easy and staff was very nice. would surely stay there agian.

To begin with, I must stress that we only used our room, and spoke to staff on the reception area. I’ve no idea on the quality of the rooftop bar nor restaurant at the hotel. Location: We booked knowing that this was in the Financial district, but I was elated with the location. We got the air-train & subway from JFK and the hotel is just a few blocks from Fulton Street Subway station. I am a quick walker, and found that the World Trade Center was only 5 minutes from the hotel, the same with Wall Street / the waterfront which was a great location to me. There were plenty of shops / restaurants / etc. in the area (where doesn’t have that in NYC?). There was construction work taking place across the street from the hotel entrance, but never any issues with traffic or noise. Reception / Staff: We arrived in the evening on a Wednesday and the staff on reception were really welcoming as we were checking in. They were taking the time to say hello to returning guests as they came through the lobby. We experienced this ourselves whenever we returned to the hotel. It may be a small thing, but it showed good customer service to me. Room: A lot of rooms in NYC are “small” when compared to counterparts in other cities so I never expect masses of space. I was happy with the size of our room when we arrived. We were on the 21st floor, and our room was on the corner overlooking the front of the building and the construction site across the street. There was small walkway between the door to the room and the bedroom. 2 of us stayed there with 2 cases and we found enough room to move around. The bed was comfortable, everything in the room worked. We had a coffee machine and bottled water given to us for drinking. The bathroom had a shower & toiletries, and it was clear everything was clean. When I'm back in NYC, I'd happily stay here again!
