No towels, no coffee pots, no service: Despite the amenities listed for the room when I booked (which was a deciding factor), we had no hand towels, no washcloths, no shower mat, no coffee maker, and no fridge. We had to go looking for towels, and were told they ran out of washcloths. Later, I went to go find out about the missing coffee pot and the front desk clerk was asleep. Took 5-6 times loudly calling his name (standing right in front of him) to wake him up. He didn't seem too interested in the problem. After I pushed harder, he sent someone off to find a coffee pot, but no one ever showed up, no one called, and we had stayed up waiting. On top of that, when we checked out, we were charged $2 per bag to check our bags for the afternoon. Do NOT believe the amenities list. Expect to not get service. And expect to be nickled and dimed over luggage.

We came to spend the night in NYC on our way to Montreal. This hotel was clean. The room was as advertised. There was a little lounge area with a small microwave and two vending machines for sodas, candy, and junk food. A coffemaker would have been welcomed. Room darkening and noise dampening curtains would be preferable to the Venetian blinds that let all of the noise, much of the street lights, and the draft from the large windows through. Bring an eye mask and perhaps earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Upon arrival, the receptionist chose to start and continue a private conversation instead of immediately waiting on us, but she was efficient. Overall, this was a good choice based on price and location. Just two or three blocks from Penn Station and right across from the Macy's. Wish we would have gotten the waffles right across the street in Herald Square.

Clean, well run and in an excellent location. Upstairs bar and restaurant is terrific. Easy check in/out made this an ideal hotel to see midtown events.

The hotel is in Midtown and is therefore convenient for all metro lines and Amtrak, and it's walkable for a lot of major attractions in south-central Manhattan. It's south of Times Square, 30 Rock, Broadway, and just around the corner from the Empire State Building, so it's obviously not the quietest neighborhood. If you're there on business, then be prepared for a lot of noise during the day, though I found it pretty easy to tune out after a while. Great, welcoming, and helpful staff. Lots of fantastic places to eat nearby.

Good location, but property is not clean. The ac in my unit was not functioning well and the room was very cold

Great location. Right opposite Macys. 2 blocks from the empire state building and 10 minutes walk from Times square. Rooms are a good size and well equipped but you don't go to New York to stay in your hotel. Hotel itself was quiet although there was a lot of noise from the street.
