Hotel berhampiran Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art MOCCA NYC, New York

Just had another great stay (from start to finish) at the wonderful St. Regis New York. From the bellmen, to the front office staff, to the butler and housekeeping staff, to the incredible service in the King Cole Bar our stay was top notch. There are so many high end choices in the best city in the world, and you can truly never go wrong with the St. Regis. Can’t wait for our next trip back soon.

I had an 1 night enjoyable stay. The front desk was very pleasant and got us settled in right away. The elevators go directly to your floor which was nice. The room was clean, and nice decor. The room was small , but i didn't mind. The bed was comfortable and plenty of soft pillows. I really liked the shampoo products that were in the shower. The toilet and the shower were seperated by a sliding door that did not go to the ceiling. You can defineltly hear the person in using the toilet. The shower had a tinted glass, but the the body silluette could be seen for sure. I was with my husband , so I didnt mind as much with this privacy issue, butI would have preferred a bathroom with a full door to the ceiling. for added privacy. A girl has to leave her private bathroom matters to her guy's.imagination. All in all is was a nice stay... walking distance to everything. Check out was easy and staff was very nice. would surely stay there agian.

The first thing I will mention is that the hotel is 5 star and is expectedly, very expensive, being in the heart of Times Square. I took this into account when writing my review. If I am paying that much, my expectations would be higher than normal. I stayed for 12 nights over the Christmas and NY period so I obtained a very comprehensive view of the hotel and everything about it. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and the staff were always there to attend to any requests and issues. The moment I got out of my transfer car, there was a lovely young gentleman waiting to get all my bags and transport me upstairs to the reception. The check-in was reasonably flawless but there was a bit of confusion around the payment because of resort fees the hotel charges daily. I prepaid my booking and there was confusion over whether it included or excluded the resort fee. The reception area is immaculately presented and the bar and restaurant are both located here. I intended to use the gym during my stay, but didn't have time to even take a peek. Nor did I visit the bar or restaurant. There's way too many options outside to do that. The very polite and courteous young gentleman then took me up to my room. He showed me everything and away he went. I got a bit of a room upgrade which I highly appreciated and had a beautiful view of Times Square. I was on the 2nd highest floor, floor 39. The room is not big. It was adequate for one person but nothing more. I don't think I would be able to stay here if I was with another person. It would be too uncomfortable and I had to find space for my 2 suitcases and carry-on. The bathroom is open plan, with a door for the shower and toilet. A big problem I had in my room was that if it was windy you will hear a loud whistle coming through the bottom of the front door. It really annoyed me. I had to take the cover off the bed and make a snake shape to block the gap underneath the door to stop the noise. Even a bath towel didn't work. They need to fix this. The hotel is very new and the rooms are very beautifully equipped, presented and maintained. I was pleased to see that most of the things I requested before I arrived (some extra bath mats, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, mini fridge, bathroom scale) were mostly there upon arrival. I quantified the number of towels I needed as I was not getting any housekeeping during my 12 night stay but I did not get the quantity requested. I expected a bit more attention to detail for a 5 star hotel. Before I arrived I was asked if I was celebrating a special occasion and Guest Services pushed up my expectations as I was celebrating a special occassion and they said something nice, I assume maybe a cake or some alcohol would be waiting for me in the room. When I arrived there was nothing. And there was never going to be anything throughout my stay. I didn't mind and only remembered towards the end of the stay. Location, hotel is good. Just the service not good in this hotel. The front desk staff not really friendly and no smile. The ground floor bodyguard is friendly and helpful. Was second time to stay in this hotel but same problem to extra charge by my credit card. Need to be careful.

We always stay at Marriott, although I rarely use my Bonvoy membership. I always book our hotel through trip.com. The fridge had a bottle of Coke that had been drank by the previous guest. The hair dryer bag is dusty. Everything else looks good. They provide free water during check-in and a raincoat in case of rain. The breakfast seems decent for the price.

We couldn’t have asked for more from this hotel, we were a little sceptical at first reading the reviews but decided to take a chance. My girlfriend and I stayed 5 nights and had everything we needed, at the end of the day we needed a nice clean room to sleep in after a full day exploring the city. The bed was comfy, the room was a lot bigger than we expected and apart from a few minor wear and tear issues the room in general was immaculate. On arrival we payed a 150 dollar security deposit and upon checking out, this was refunded instantly (thank you it was well needed!). The hotel is really well located as it’s a 5 minute walk from Grand Central and about a 10/15 minute walk from 5th Ave which was perfect for us. The staff were all really welcoming and so helpful, they also are happy to keep your bags on the day of check out for 5 dollars, which is a bargain compared to what we heard about other hotels. There’s a coffee machine downstairs which we didn’t make use of (your in New York, make the most of the unbelievable coffee shops??) and a vending machine which was extremely handy to grab water and a snack out of at the end of a long day. All in all you pay for what you get, not luxury but definitely great for a short term stay in the city - would definitely recommend if it’s your first time travelling to New York. The reception staff is very cooperative and available 24/7. The local NY tour guideline desk person is very good as he guides us perfectly and shows us the best approach for reaching the destination. The cleaning staff is also good and keeps our room clean and hygienic.

Have stayed here numerous times, and it's consistently a well managed and run hotel. Clean and conveniently located with a great view in most rooms.

Kebersihan adalah baik dan ia berada pada tahap rantaian antarabangsa. Persekitarannya bagus, terletak di Wall Street, dan terdapat semua jenis kedai yang anda perlukan di tingkat bawah. Perkhidmatannya biasa-biasa saja. Terdapat seorang lelaki gemuk di meja depan yang mengabaikan saya semasa saya mendaftar masuk. Jelas sekali ia adalah diskriminasi (saya tidak akan menerangkan secara terperinci berdasarkan pengalaman saya di tapak). Kemudian, saya pergi ke bilik mandi dan mendaftar masuk dengan seorang lelaki kulit putih di kaunter lain, yang lebih baik. Saya tidak boleh mengatakan bahawa kemudahannya tidak baik, tetapi hanya terdapat dua lif penumpang di hotel yang mempunyai lebih daripada 40 tingkat pada waktu puncak, lif tidak datang selama 10 minit. Saya tidak menjangkakan untuk menginap di hotel yang bagus pada harga yang murah. Ia benar-benar melebihi jangkaan saya. Ia mempunyai rasa hotel berbintang (banyak hotel dengan empat bintang ke atas memberi saya perasaan hotel ekspres domestik, tetapi yang ini mempunyai suasana hotel berbintang).
