City view， 可以看曼哈頓中心大樓，隔海相望非常棒。三星水平吧。吃的不錯。早餐給50刀可以隨便點，不浪費，三個人足夠吃。
唯一缺點是要坐一站地去曼哈頓，但是性價比超高。曼哈頓太貴了，房子還老舊。這裏很新。
但是房子隔音效果太差。

We loved this place. So close to everything. Love the home like feel. The amentities were great. The only con was finding out the futon was a Japanese futon (which is just a futon mat for the floor). The host did provide us with an extra comforter to add cushioning to the futon. I also liked the self check-in set-up. We did enjoy our stay here.

Booked this hotel as a pre-cruise hotel that was convenient to airport with free shuttle. Also chose this hotel as they allegedly had a buffet breakfast. Even pgined hotel to confirm the breakfast and how much it was. What they FAILED to tell us was that the breakfast was ONLY on weekends. Shoukd have been a detail to disclose, without having to be asked, if was in fact every day. Airport shuttle was as expected: runs every 1/2 hour (pickup at airport @15&45 min after the hour, departs hotel on the hour and 1/2 hour.). Check-in went fine, HOWEVER...arrival at assigned room we could hear the air conditioner ”screaming” a squeal so loud we could hear it in the hallway before we even opened the room door. Had to go back to front desk to get reassigned. We never had occasion to try to use our room phone, until day 2, when we discovered it didn't work. Called for maintenance, who offered to replace phone, then came back and said he couldn't. (Now can't get a wake-up-call for early morning departure, unless we were willing to move and change rooms AGAIN!) And to make it worse, maintenance couldn't get the alarm clock to work, either, and he had to replace it too.
On-site restaurant is decently large, with decent menu, but prices are outrageous! ($20 for a burger!)
All hotel staff were warm and friendly.
NOTE: For being a traveller's hotel, very disappointed rooms do NOT have in-room safes. Over-all, could have stayed at the Crowne Plaza for only $7 more. We'll be sure to stay at the Crowne next time.

This is a budget hotel; the staff are friendly and pleasant to customers; however, there has been no swimming pool & jacuzzi since 2019, and it was the first time I booked the hotel to stay with my parents for 10 days. Even back then, the swimming pool was under construction 2019, and since then, nothing has changed. There were no proper towels at the fitness center, so the air circulation was not in good shape. The chef at the kitchen had a family funeral, so he took at least 5 days off during labor day weekend:( I had to order food from uber eats online.. finally

Close to airport - excellent shuttle service - 18/10min Uber rise to Jersey Mills Shopping - approx 20 min Uber to port. Nice layout of hotel - but dated but in good shape. Quite a nice hot bfast - with good service too. The only glitch I had was on the morning to leave my safe wouldn’t open - maintenance spent over hr to open missed my ride and ended up being late- front desk were unable to arrange transportation or anything

Breakfast offers many varieties, it is very abundant. My partner and I were delighted, the staff is really very helpful and complete. The hotel was very clean, it is modern, the location is fantastic. we hope to return soon

We have stayed here half a dozen times and we will never be back. The pool has been closed multiple years. Our room was filthy. Couldn’t decide if it was not cleaned by housekeeping or just gross. Believe the negative reviews about this property. They are all true. Overpriced and in need of serious renovations.

KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there,and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-)  either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

Everything else looks good. They provide free water during check-in and a raincoat in case of rain.
The breakfast seems decent for the price.

The proximity of the canteen and cafeteria next to the reception area added to the convenience. The cafeteria offered a delightful selection of freshly baked goods and various beverages, making it a pleasant spot to unwind.
While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped.
The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience.
Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff.
Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city.
In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

TTressa CatalinaWas perfect for what we needed. It could've been a little cleaner, and the toiletries were not excellent - glad we brought our own this time. The hotel offered free luggage storage, which was great as we arrived around 10 am. The bar closed at 11 inside the hotel & didn't serve food. :( Elevator took a while to get on since there were only 2, and they always seemed busy. It wasn't too noisy - especially for New York. Great location - Carnegie Diner was just two blocks away. Also close to Seraphina, Ellen's Stardust Diner & Times Square.

PPengguna TetamuI went on a girls trip and took a red eye to New York. Check-in was a breeze, and being greeted with a reusable water bottle was so nice! It's also close to the subway so getting around to the different places we wanted to go was easy. Staff was incredibly pleasant, made sure I had plenty of towels. The breakfast and hours of indulgence in the evening was amazing. Usually I do a little shopping for some basics, but I didn't need to this time. The water dispenser and coffee machines were life savers on more than one occasion. I've already told my husband we need to stay here when we do a couples trip.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe room's facilities are very basic, consisting of only a table, chairs, a mirror, a safe, a few clothes hangers, and a bunk bed. When you sit on the lower bed, you can't sit upright because your head will hit the upper bed. The floor and walls are dirty. You have to share the bathroom with others, and the hygiene isn't very good. There are no toothpaste, toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, or slippers provided, and not even a bottle of water. At least the staff at the check-in lobby are friendly, and the bed is soft and comfortable, though it's a bit noisy. Fortunately, I only booked it for one night.

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, but the hotel itself is in need of renovations (as other reviews have stated). If the hotel were to make those renovations I would stay again.

MMisti WallerWe get there at 10:00am - We knew we couldnt check in but asked anyway. Lady on Thurs 9/28 told me we couldnt yet and gave us bag tags to hold our bags for us. Very nice and pleasant. We then return to the hotel at 9pm to finally check in. We had a great day seeing the city. We are then told that the room I booked was over sold and they can not provide me with a King that I purchased but a double. This was the manager - She discounted the bill and $54 and told me they would make sure we were accommodated tomorrow. The room we were put it was the size of a walk in closet with a bed with a window unit that water dropped on all night making a loud noise with every drop. It also had a broken shelf above the sink so you literally had no where to put anything. It was horrible and honestly a $54 discount was not nearly enough.
Friday at 9am we come down turn in the room keys and explain to yet a third person....she understands and says I see notes here and we have a king room for you. I asked if we could go ahead and get the room number but she said no not yet we have to wait for the people to check out. We check our bags with tags and leave them at the desk again. We then spend another wonderful day exploring the city. We return around 9pm again and another person is working and has absolutely no idea of anything that was supposed to be done for us. I asked for any other room then the one we were in first and they had a queen room available. I took it after being so tired. The lady gave me the managers email and said he would speak to her for us. I will be reaching out but now that we checked out sat morning I dont believe we will be compensated for this terrible lack of communication. We never even got to unpack our bags.
