Hotel was decorated beautifully and was clean. Staff was super friendly. Really cute breakfast buffet was included.

The location of this inn is perfect for walking to Broadway, Thames and the wharfs. It was basically a 10 minute walk any where we went. It is nicely updated and the small plate breakfasts were delicious. Our room was small, but I was expecting that. It is an old house, so you can occasionally hear noises from other rooms, but we travel with a sound machine so it was no problem for us. The addition of being able to park at the Cliffside Inn to do the cliff walk is a nice perk, especially during busier times. Frank greeted us with a smile, gave us a map and showed us where main locations were and even carried one of our bags up to our room. We would definitely stay here again.

Gilded Inn is a cute little place. Frank, owner, served the hot breakfast...egg dish, granola, pastries, fruit...very nice! We stayed two nights. Typical B&B bathroom (small), very nice towels, clean. Walkable location to town and restaurants.

Really loved the Gilded facility. Beautiful decor. Comfy bed. Well appointed. Tasty breakfast. Quiet neighborhood. Ample free parking. Only things I would change about our room is to add a brighter bulb over the bathroom sink and a better bathroom fan. A little short-staffed, but that seems to be the norm in the hospitality & service industries these days. Would stay again & recommend to others. Nice experience.

The property is quaint from the outside. Onsite parking was too small but there was generally street parking available. We had a queen room with a bathroom. The room was very tight and run down. We were also able to hear people in the rooms around us, like everything they were ‘doing’ if you catch my drift. 3 floors and stairs only. In terms of pricing was about $550/night which was on the lower side of other local options.

Amazing! Everyone was so nice. Daily breakfast was perfect, cocktail hour at their sister hotel every evening was a nice touch. Any request or need was immediately taken care of. Would highly recommend!

Overall vibe and service were nice, great location. Relative to the price, the king room was pretty tight for two relatively small adults. Most concerning were the swollen doors, both to access the room and coming into the hotel from the outside. We really had to yank and leverage to get in and out and latch our door shut. Seems it’d be easy to inadvertently not fully shut the exterior door coming in late. To be totally fair, if the doors were improved, we would absolutely be willing to return.

The Gilded was a great hotel. Close to restaurants, close to the marina. Staff was nice. Breakfast was amazing.There is a nice courtyard to sit in and enjoy breakfast.
