Hotel 4 bintang Nimes yang Popular

This is a fabulous 17th century property in the center of Nimes. All the major attractions, such as the amphitheater, are within walking distance. The optional breakfast downstairs in the dining room is very nice in buffet style. The rooms are nice and well equipped. As mentioned, there are some drawbacks to this hotel, notably: there is no on-site parking and so you have at least a 10 minute walk to the nearest large parking structure that is reasonable in cost but not free. Figure $30 overnight. Annoyingly, the hotel is in a one-way street and there are parking barriers lining the narrow street. As such, as you arrive, you have to unload your car while holding up traffic. Then you have to find the parking garage and walk back. Not a major deal, but certainly not simple. Last, as this is a 17th century building, there are quite a few steps to navigate, as other travelers have pointed out. There is an elevator, but it doesn’t mitigate all of the stairs, and certainly not the walking to and from the car. Again, not abnormal in an ancient city, but something to be aware of if you’re used to say Hilton or Hyatt parking lots in the states.

Tout bien sauf chargeur que pour les Tesla, et dans les environs proches aussi impossible de recharger la voiture À préciser car c est noté qu il est possible de charger une voiture électrique Il faut 200 caractères minimum pour l’avis et franchement je ne sais plus quoi dire ;)

Très très bien situé, adresse pour GPS, une fois devant les arenes, un petit stress , on arrive devant bâtiment fermé, mais l'entrée est dans la rue juste à côté au fond à 150 m Manque un tout petit peu d indication pour l'entrée piéton. Parking non signalé dur le sites , plusieurs parking payant Très proches . Très très propres , accueil très gentils , Il manque peut être juste un kit de bienvenue café thé, car bouilloire a disposition , ou un petit distributeur dans le salon d accueil . Situation idéale. Chambre et lit très confortable , Merci.

L’hôtel est situé à l’extérieur de la vielle à environ 3 km du centre ville, il faut donc être véhiculée pour se rendre au centre ville , le personnel est agréable très sympas , dans l’ensemble ça été , je note juste que la carafe d’eau n’a pas été rempli malgré que j’en ai fais la demande et la chambre n’a pas été faite à notre retour que lorsque je l’ai demandé , ça c’était pénible , retour de sortie et trouver que le ménage n’a pas été fait il était tout de même 16h00, la chambre, la salle de bain parfait , la vue laisse à désirer , les installation bien sauf que la piscine était froide mais vraiment froide ! Malheureusement c’est pour cette raison que j’ai donné 4 au lieu de 5

We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, but it's not without faults. Closer to 3 star than the declared 4star The garden offers some pleasant privacy. The pool is pristine and ideal for children to splash about in but swimming - no. Our room with access to the garden was very comfortable with quiet effective air conditioning.A well-appointed bathroom with good plumbing. Breakfast ( included ) was adequate. The cooked section was scrambled eggs and sausages, didn't like. Three minor things irritated us: Ordering a Gin& Tonic the only bottle was close to empty, the next evening there was no Gin and I was advised there would not be any for the rest of the week. As it happens a fresh bottle appeared on day three. The Hotel was understaffed as when ordering drinks they were started and were on the counter only to be abandoned as guests had arrived, when I enquired after our drinks I was blankly informed that guests had to be checked in, I mentioned that I had ordered prior to them arriving ( I apologised to the guests - but the ice was melting ! ) and then on checking out the receptionist said I had to pay for all extras for our visit without seeing a bill. I explained that I had never been asked to pay a hotel bill without being shown and was told ” I guess we're different” I thought it was rude and foolish. I would still totally recommend L'Orangerie, we really enjoyed ourselves, just be prepared to navigate the above ”silly annoying” things and all will be well. There is no dining room as such although plenty of space for breakfast. There are a few restaurants across the road. It's circa 15 min walk to La Gare.
