We had such a pleasant stay at Oakdene Guest House. Corlu is adorable, very helpful and the guest house itself is lovely, rooms are big, comfortable. Delicious breakfast! Loved it! if you are heading to Oudtshoorn, spend a night there.

Stayed at this wonderful guest house as part of our two day package in the Western Cape. Greeted by the hosts Daniel and Sonia who were very polite and could not do enough for us. We had room 5 and it has all the charm and charisma of the oldest house in the town. Roll top bath, comfortable bed and all you could want. Unfortunately did not get the time to sample the swimming pool as we were only there for a one night stay over. The breakfast was fabulous with nothing too much trouble. If you go to the Western Cape you must stay here.

What an absolute charming place to stay. Hosts greeted us with torches & apologies (Lisd Shedding =power cuts) we would definitely go back & love to spend more time there. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve had any where EVER. 😊

The accommodation was amazing. First class. The pool was delightfully refreshing and sparkling. We did not have breakfast but seeing what other guests were enjoying it’ll be a definite next time. Our hosts were friendly and professional. Conveniently situated.

Great welcome from Sonja and Daniel to this lovely B & B. Very helpful advice provided regarding Swartberg Pass + adjacent restaurants. Room very comfortable and stylish. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Thoroughly recommend. All in all - a great stay.

A very safe area in the town with many restaurants within walking distance. Secure parking & a lovely garden with a pool. Fabulous breakfasts. Guidance to make the very most from Oudtshoorn & surroundings. Surprisingly & most importantly, without the host Daniel’s detailed advice, we would’ve missed so much that made a simple overnight stop into what turned out to be an epic experience and wonderful memory of our South African holiday. Thank you Daniel & Sonja. We loved staying at your place and will definitely return if/when we visit SA again.

We had a lovely stay here as a stop on our safari and garden route tour with Hotspots2C. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, the setting beautiful and the room cool and spacious. We had a lovely sleep and enjoyed a bit of pool time too. Breekfast was also lovely- homemade bread was a highlight.

Everything was excellent, and the hosts were very friendly. The breakfast reminded me of my Nanna's house. I would say it was value for money, and also the fact that we booked at short notice. I would recommend it to anyone. The location is also very convenient withe easy access.
