Our group of 3 couples began a long planned trip to Sicily with a 3 night stop at the Villa Igiea, Palermo. This is truly a special hotel. Everything was perfect, spacious rooms, amazing food and service at both breakfast and dinner. The waitstaff were the most helpful pleasant people you could ever hope for. A special thank you to Francesco who went above and beyond to help us locate all of our checked bags (8) lost by United Airlines. From the moment we arrived, 30 hours late (again due to United Airlines) we were treated like royalty by the entire staff from front desk to a lovely lady housekeeper.

We stayed for 4 nights earlier this month, using the apartment as a base to explore Palermo. Our one bedroom apartment on the second floor was very spacious with lots of living space, a handy kitchen/dining room and separate bedroom with a balcony. It was light and airy. The bathroom was functional although the shower was on the small side. It contained a washing machine which came in handy as the weather was very warm! The staff at this place were friendly and helpful. Even though the apartments are not in the centre of the action there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores etc. Shout out to the Orient Express cafe. The only negative thing I have to say is that when we first arrived the apartment smelled strongly of cigarettes, which as non-smokers was a bit off putting. Luckily it dissipated quickly.

Disappointed. Glad for free parking. It's on the port front which is good for the view but also on a very busy road though we didn't hear it at night. Check in easy. Lift broke down once while we were there which is always scary. Room was sizable but lack of storage space, a massive bath in the middle of the room. Shower was strange. Bar was very limited. Breakfast was ok. Rather stay at standard ibis or pay more for a mecure.

Abbiamo affittato la stanza per una notte. Molto bella, ampia, con soffito in legno e travi a vista, le pareti di pietra, pulita, profumata, accogliente e con tutti i comfort disponibili. Situata in cento Palermo zona stadio, è inserita in una coorte intima e ben tenuta; insomma una chicca nel cuore di Palermo. Aspetto molto importante stanza completamente insonorizzata! Assolutamente consigliato

Cet hôtel est proche du centre historique, le petit déjeuner est généreux, et la dame qui nous servait était adorable. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée au dernier étage avait une vue sympa mais était très simple, et juste à côté de la cage d'ascenseur, la déco est assez vieillotte. De plus l'hôtel se situe dans un quartier assez animé, et sale avec des commerces de rue, prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles si vous aimez le calme ! Pour nous ce n'est pas un 4 étoiles.
