Amber Dale Luxury Hotel & Spa, Munnar

Overall, it was a memorable and fantastic stay for us, for 3 nights—during 17th till 20th Jan. The one thing that we would remember Amberdale Resort & Spa the most for: is the STAFF. We will cherish the smiles; the service; the little n big courtesies and the care everyone took of us! Everybody smiled, greeted, enquired if all was alright and never was there any frown or any lapse in service— be it in housekeeping or at front office or in the restaurant or spa. Wish we could remember all the names, but that being difficult, we would like to express heartfelt ‘thank you’ to: Sayanth, Ann, Payal, M/s. Jinoy, Sarang, Sandeep, Sabin, James & Malem, Neethu and team. The ‘Forte’ of this place comprises: the staff, the views, the service, the cleanliness and the food. The rooms are spacious and clean. We stayed in the Ananta room and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Overall, the premises are well-kept and the atmosphere is warm. We loved the daily evening tea-snacks and the cooking session too. The night sky view from the 3rd floor terrace is also quite spectacular. Our experience at the Spa was very fine too! In the restaurant, the experiences during breakfast, lunch & dinner were made fantastic by the food, the attention to details and the service! A few suggestions are: The activity room (where board games etc are kept) could be cleaner and well maintained. The cutlery/mats etc in the restaurant area could be better. If a brief (15-20 mnts) yoga session too could be held on the 3rd floor where tea is served early morning, it would be much appreciated by all guests including the foreign guests. We have had an excellent stay at Amber Dale Resort, Munnar. The staff was very courteous & helpful, good food and the views from the room balconies are absolutely breathtaking. Serene and nestled in tranquil nature, this property is a MUST VISIT! Special thanks to Sandra (Front Desk) for helping with every little query and making us extremely comfortable.

I visited Amber dale for the second time. It was as always an awesome experience. The service has been so good that it makes me visit again. Annmariya really has a smiling face and making us feel comfortable. Overall I will recommend everyone to visit and stay.

Picturesque view, rooms are nice. However food is horrible and tasteless. First day when we ordered lunch we were served stale rice that was stinking. Upon complaining they replaced it. WiFi is very patchy and if you have iPhone you will struggle to stay connected and use it in the room. Spa is also mediocre. Location is also remote and last 2 minutes of drive is through a narrow road which is broken in parts. Overall ok experience at this resort.

Honestly it was the best n comfortable stay.. with a Good Co operative working Staff.. n the food is truly best.. all over the it was a beautiful stay with all co-op from Amber Dale management 👍.. I heartily Thank to all the staff and appreciate their cooperation.....

One of the best hotels that you will get the best view in Munnar. The restaurant staff are very polite and well-attentive. Anna was very helpful. She explained very well about the hotel. The foods are really tasty. Chef Siva helped us a lot. The housekeeping service was good, in all ways We got a good experience from this hotel.

We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite, it was a great experience. The staff is very polite and helpful, the food is good. The view of the valley was amazing and amenities in the room were good. All in all it was a great stay.

The property was at the best location in munnar as the view from the room is superb. The madura honeymoon room was the very good very specious room and have a jacqusiee in it . Hotel staff was very good and friendly in nature. But the resturant food is not good and resturant staff service was very bad.. Front office staff and room service is excellent ...
