Globales Mimosa

We stayed at this hotel from 30th September to 7th October. On arrival the room looked clean but on a closer look around it wasn’t as clean as we thought. A lady’s razor was found in the shower and the floor had floss and hair behind the door all floors were unclean. The standard of cleaning needs to be addressed for a hotel chain of this size. The food was not very good. If you are taking children to this hotel make sure you feed them off the complex as their nothing for kids to eat apart from chips pizza or pasta unless you go to the snack bar and get hotdogs and burgers. The one thing that we found is the staff are very nice and friendly and the entertainment was good

After visiting last year and having such a wonderful experience we decided to book again for this year. We stayed the first two weeks of July. We had an interconnecting room which was brilliant. Lots of room for us and our two grown up children. Everything was clean and rooms were cool. Lifts are slow but not a problem. The pool area was lovely never had to race for a sunbed and you could get one at any time of the day. The animation team are very poor and try to get away with doing as little as possible. Often in the middle of aqua fit the music would stop Marty the team lead would shout no battery have a nice meal and then disappear! Don’t rely on the lifeguard. When he isn’t asleep with his mirrored sunglasses on he is walking around Collecting plastic cups or having a chat with the bar girls ! Food was ok but very geared up for the French tourist which there were a lot of. They are also very rude but personally didn’t take much notice of them. The biggest problem this year is the massive influx of teen groups on their first holiday abroad. Massive groups drinking messing about in the pool and running up and down outside the bedrooms in the early hours after a heavy night out. Not a family hotel. It would be a massive shame if this turns into the palm nova version of BH ?

Great family holiday. Went to palma nova at the end of may for a family holiday 10 adults 3 kids stayed here all inclusive lovely hotel and spacious rooms plenty of choice for breakfast dinner and tea snack bar open 10am to 6pm plenty of choice for everyone. Large pool with plenty of sun loungers. Round the corner is O Neils bar absolutely fantastic food esp the sunday lunch and very good price Connor Sam and staff were amazing and friendly made us all feel welcome would highly recommend a visit. A 5 min walk to the ***** wher there are plenty of bars and resteraunts a big shout out to Banana Joes bar only went in the day as found it a bit to much at night with having small children lovely friendly staff especially Missy she is a diamond. All in all a great family holiday enjoyed by all in the beautiful palma nova would definitely return.

We are regular guests at the Mimosa and have always given five stars in our reviews however a few changes since our visit in March have led to a four stars this time. I am a swimmer and have loved that no inflatables or balls are allowed this however was not the case in October with many inflatables and balls being allowed also drinks were not allowed in the pool but there were many people drinking and nothing said by the lifeguards who were more concerned with collecting glasses. In our opinion a backwards step by the hotel. Gripe over the hotel is spotless and the rooms are a good size and cleaned daily. Food is plentiful and always a good selection, do note that the guests are multi national and it's not all about the brits so be prepared to try something different. Staff are all friendly if you speak with them do try a little Spanish it doesn't harm. Shout out to the bar staff Miguel, Francisco and Juan who work hard and are happy to share a joke. Also the animation team Marty, Katarina and Lucas who do their best to make your holiday more enjoyable. The hotel must be doing something right as there were many returning guests from previous years and we have booked to return twice in 2025 Hopefully the rules about inflatables and balls will be reinstated and we can once again give five stars.

Our return for the second year in the October half term, would probably say it was better second time round! Only gripe was we had contacted the hotel prior to ask for conjoining rooms like the previous year, although on arrival we were given rooms next to each other, with family just a few doors away. Nice to see Marty and Katarina we’re still there, the amount of faces they must see every year and they still remember you, they’re a real credit to the hotel, not forgetting the great addition of Lucas, our family took a real shining to him, a week full of banter, he was fantastic! Food, plenty of choice although did find it difficult to feed our very fussy teenager at night, we found feeding him as late on from the snack bar done the trick, what they offered there was right up his street, it would be nice if the food was hotter. Pool area, fantastic, plenty of beds, kids loved the pool, and all activities in the pool, the carpet this year was a massive hit and Aqua Gym, we all loved it, so much so, weeks later, we’re still listening and dancing to all the songs. On return back home, both children asked to return for a third year, we will return, who knows when.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 3 years always in October. In previous years the hotel has been full of beach volley clubs, but not this year which meant a more varied amount of holiday makers. Rooms are good and serviced every day. Dining room is large and there's plenty to eat although it could do with being hotter. Entertainment staff Marty, Katerina & last but not least Lucas were excellent and we enjoyed lots of banter. The bar staff also need a mention especially Miguel Angel who always had a smile on his face. Shame we can not say the same for most of the other staff. Large pool area with lots of beds. We will go back, but maybe not next year
