Good location and easy to get around in this area. If you have pets, pick up your poop! There is a great open area between the motel and event center. And a walking path, very very good to have. The manger was great, 24 hour coffee and someone at the desk all the time. Also, we made reservations direct and cut through the BS. It was a good stay. And don't forget to pick up your poop !

Being from Pampa knowing the good and bad of the town I honestly didn’t have high expectations. The hotel was newer so I knew it would be updated and the location was convenient but little did I know they would be one of the best stays. The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Misty and Audrey were great, actually every staff member I ran into was friendly. The breakfast was satisfying even the last day I was surprised to find chorizo and potatoes on the breakfast bar. As we checked out and left I got a call that I had left my jacket. If you have to stay in Pampa this is where you want to stay.

I hate writing this review. I really want to be able to give it a five and I just can’t. This is an older two-story property. It’s a little rundown and needs work. Before I say too much more, I would like to give the desk clerk and the maintenance man a thumbs up for trying to resolve issues. They were very accommodating. But as I said the property is old. It was cold this time of year and this was when the temperatures were in the teens and zero. The room we got was paid for by someone else. That is why we stayed. When we got there, we were warned that the shower nozzle had to be pulled straight out and not just turned. The first room we went to did not have any heat. He offered to move us to another room and we did. It was around the backside of the building and my husband is mobility challenged. after moving, he decided to take a shower, and the water was not very hot. The desk clerk came again to show us again how to turn it on because it was very difficult to work. The room was clean otherwise, just outdated. I know they want to do a good business and have good reviews. I would hope that the owner could put some money into improving the property and putting in shower nozzles that are easy to turn on and off. I don’t think some of the rooms were rented for some time and he explained but some of them were not cleaned due to short staff. We did not eat breakfast the next morning so I cannot speak to that.

We booked this hotel to attend an immediate family member’s funeral & wanted a hassle free experience considering our recent loss and 10 hour trip from home. Holiday inn has never disappointed until this stay. I arrived at 3 o’clock check in and was told by the front desk I was unable to check in even though my name was on the reservation no big deal except the rudeness that occurred. I waited an additional hour to avoid further conflict. At 4 pm all guests arrived so we check in with another employee which was amazing. We then proceeded to our room to find the room a complete mess (an hour after check in & not ready). We then were placed into an upgraded room which was nice until it wasn’t we unpacked everything and proceeded to wind down for the night and no hot water to shower. When notifying the front desk we were told they didn’t have maintenance so they could open up another room just to shower. We didn’t pay for a college dorm room experience so we declined. She then offered to switch rooms for the 3rd time in less than 3 hours. Ice machine doesn’t work, washing machine was broke, the pool reaked of chlorine because it’s indoor we had to leave within 5 minutes because we couldn’t breathe and no ventilation. Don’t waste your time or money booking here! Our room should have been comp’d after this horrible experience!
