The hotel itself is fantastic. It is truly luxurious, beautifully designed, and the facilities are excellent. The rooms, common areas, and overall atmosphere are impressive, and you can clearly see the high standard of the property. However, there are a few areas that I believe need improvement: First, the breakfast experience. For a hotel of this level, the breakfast selection is quite limited, especially for international guests. I expected more variety and better service. Second, the pool bar was disappointing. It opens quite late, has very little atmosphere, and the drink selection is surprisingly limited for a pool bar in a luxury hotel. Also, the staff member working at the bar had a noticeable body odor, which made the experience uncomfortable and is something that should definitely be addressed. Finally, I don’t feel the hotel is fully prepared to receive international tourists. Although there is a Russian-speaking staff member available, overall communication and service for foreign guests still need significant improvement. Overall, it is a beautiful and genuinely luxurious hotel with fantastic facilities. With some improvements in breakfast, the pool bar, and international guest service, the experience could be truly outstanding.

Beautiful hotel, but unfair check-in delays need to be addressed I really wanted to give this hotel a perfect score because the hotel itself is great, but a major operational flaw held it back. The Good: The hotel design is stunning—very modern and fresh. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and felt brand new. Our The breakfast buffet had a fantastic variety with lots to choose from, so great start to the day there. I also have to shout out the staff, who were warm and attentive throughout our stay. The Mixed: The amenities were generally okay, though I did notice a lack of bathroom loofahs (a small detail, but worth noting for anyone planning a longer stay). The Bad (and Important): The check-in process is broken. Officially, check-in is at 3pm, but we ended up waiting much longer. It seems the hotel allows guests to check out so late that housekeeping can't turn the rooms over in time. It’s really not okay to keep the next customer waiting in the lobby after a long journey of travel—it immediately puts a damper on your feeling towards the hotel before you even see the room. Suggestion to Management: I would strongly suggest that IHG enforce late check-out fees or stagger check-out times. Late departures for some guests shouldn't come at the expense of the experience for incoming guests.

The room that we stayed in (private pool room) was absolutely stunning. The privacy of the pool was ideal and perfect for some fantastic times. There was a fair bit of building work going on, but that just makes us want to come back to see what changes. Breakfast was superb and the service was A* - more on that next...(Kit) So, Alisa (our liaison) was incredible, she fixed any issues and made herself very available over WeChat to make anything and everything happen for us. She is a truly lovely and professional lady. I hope I see her when we stay again (Philippa) 😊👏

Nice and silient family hotel with amazing service. Great breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktail. We would like to come back .

The hotel is near the railway station and the beautiful river walk. No English but friendly understanding. Huge room new and neat. First day I got lost when a street vegetable man would drive me on his tuktuk so to call near the hotel From where I called and the hotel receptionist came to take me back to the hotel. All for free The next day I took a long bus ride to the monkey beach and endless long beautiful beach in a special place on the sea. With fun Chinese met in the bus. Asking the bus driver if there would be a restaurant he offered me his company lunch parcels or a full healthy lunch. Free . On the way back I found the hotel on my self and the friendly family was all smiling that I was back all alone and happy. Next to the hotel I enjoyed the best fish soup ever. So I recommend this hotel in Lingshui. Which has a bridge built like a huge ship new and no motor just for pedestrians. Upload Fotos does not work.

Overall an enjoyable stay! Location: 10/10 a short walk to the beach Room: 7/10 the bed was huge and comfortable (with options for different types of pillows) we had a nice balcony with a clothes horse to dry things on. However it was VERY dated; the jacuzzi bath on the balcony didn’t work, the fridge didn’t fully close (which meant it made a lot of noise during the night), the glass panel between the shower and toilet leaked water every time we showered (flooding the toilet floor) our front door didn’t lock from the inside. Cleanliness: 6/10 the room was cleaned daily but not very well (just emptying bins and changing towels) Amenities: 8/10 the pool was good and the hotel also had three washing machines available to do laundry (no detergent provided) Breakfast: 5/10 the options were VERY limited and there were nowhere near enough tables for the number of people staying Staff: 10/10 all staff members were very friendly and helpful (but if you don’t speak Chinese you will probably struggle or need translation app) We enjoyed our stay here but I doubt we would return unless the hotel was significantly updated and modernised

Nice staff, gave us an upgrade to be seaside. Kid pool is getting old would need a lift. Good breakfast and great surf break just in front of the hotel if you like medium to big wave. We where there during a nearby typhon but all outdoors pools were kept open and clean.

酒店對面的風景太好了，早上打開窗看到一片湖景真是讓人心情愉悦，當然不知道這個是叫什麼湖，不過確實挺美的，酒店位置不錯，吃喝玩樂啥都有，這裏居然都開了霸王茶姬，之前來英州都沒有，第一次住這家店，也是朋友推薦來的，這裏也確實像我朋友説的那樣，服務特別好，風景好，停車還很方便，門口有停車位，後面有個大停車場而且這裏房間是真的很大，價格也不貴

The apartment is located in a large community block that is mosly empty and rented by a local real estate agency that serves as a reception during opening hours. Check in if you are a foreigner is quite slow, but the staff are friendly and you can rent ebikes from them which is nice. The free community pool is probably one of the better community ones I have seen and they maintain it well because the water was clean. On the downside it is closed on Monday due to that same maintenance so plan accordingly. The fact that very people live there all year long shows, the building have this decreipt look and elevator hallway smelled really bad. The apartment itself had a few problems, notably the washing machine drain was blocked so it caused a flood and the beds were not the comfiest ever but still adequate. The closest beach is about 1km away and it is a mediocre beach for swimming but it is where people come to watch the launch which is probably the main reason people come here in the first place. If you actually want to swim&surf in a blue sea, there is a great smaller beach near the buddha temple(picture 4) about 5 km with ebike or taxi.
