PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is situated 15 minutes taxi ride from the Beppu station. So we have nowhere to go that night. But it's good enough to have hotspring and drinks in the hotel. The staff is very polite and can explain what you can do in English. Then you were lead to the room and tips rejected.
We booked the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. The dinner time is either 6pm or 6:30pm and the breakfast time 8am or 8:30. The dinner is good but maybe my expectation is quite high, it didn't reach my expectation, especially for the sashimi.
For the onsen, there are 4 private onsens and 2 public. One of the private onsens is closed. Therefore we can use 3. You can use the private onsen when it is not occupied. Just lock the door and turn the plate to the other side. But all the onsen are closed by 12 midnight. And there is a room with free flow beer and soda, but it closes at 10pm. Don't drink beer before taking hotspring.
There is also an onsen in our room which can be used anytime. It's hot at night but not so hot in the next morning. Overall, the view is good. The staff is good. The food is good (just not so great) and the onsens are good. Beppu is a good place to stay a few days more

PPengguna TetamuBeppu Hostel U&T is outstanding in many areas of the hospitality industry. The premise is squeaky clean, the Japanese style beds were comfy & snug. The staff were helpful, courteous & we noted went about their chores unintrusively. The coin-operated washing machines & driers were easy to operate. We were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere in the common area & astonishing array of beverages provided free for guests. We liked it's central location just across from Beppu Tower & short walking distance to stores & cafes. Highly recommended!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

LLai Khun ShumWalking distance within 5 mins to JR or bus station . Very convenient with lot of restaurant nearby . Plan ur trip without hassle for logistic . U wan JR , just 5 min , u wan main bus terminal , just 5 min . Am definitely will stay again if i revisit beppu again .
Last a full skincare regime for free at lobby . Least ur hassle to bring all . Remember if u stay here no need to bring ur skin care ya .

•the foot bath is great with the sea view
•the coffee at the lounge is good but they should provide some japanese snacks
•the popcicle after onsen is delicious
•the onsen is small but it was nice and clean
•the dinner took a long time to eat we didn’t liked the appetizers but the sashimi was fresh and the hotpot was good with lobsters.hotate and puffer fish
•we missed the show at 21:30pm
•the free ramen is delicious we had fun making the ramen
•the bed was soft and we had a great sleep

OOlga TarIf you're considering this hotel, you'd better stay at Yula-Re.
We booked almost the largest room they have and it felt very cheap and cramped still. Glad we stayed only a single night there. The rooms are small even for Japan, and it's impossible to fit luggage under the bed, so it feels even more cramped. The bathroom has a ridiculously high floor, we tripped over the entrance so many times... And the bath is so tiny that you'll have to use Yula-Re's onsen to wash.
There are 9 or 10 floors but only one elevator, slow and tiny, so we had to wait for unreasonable time every time we wanted to go out.
The pajamas are nice but the wooden slippers are so broken they ask to kill them rather than be worn one more time. The worst was the bed cover paired with the sheet you have to use instead of a normal blanket. Felt so unhygienic...
There were several good points, though: the service was good and friendly, the location is great - just steps away from Beppu station, bus stop, combini and cafes nearby. And the possibility to freely use Yula-Re's amenities such as rooftop pool and onsen!
But then again, consider staying at Yula-Re. This hotel didn't feel like value for money.

JJunsgI stayed in Beppu for 4 nights, trying different onsens at different hotels.Tsuruta was my last Beppu hotel. Although the room i stayed in is rather dated and items worn out, all necessary equipment are working very well, i stayed at a newer 4.5 star hotel prior and the air-conditioner, hair dryer and toilet exhaust were noisy and faulty, while in the older Tsuruta where everything works well! This don't judge a book by its cover, older hotels is just as good! I've attached a photo of the park and harbour view from my room at Tsuruta.

밥밥잘먹고잠푹자자후쿠오카 하카타역에서 벳푸역까지는 소닉익스프레스 열차로 2시간 조금 넘게 걸린다. 그리고 벳푸 호텔 체크인은 오후3시.
그럼 후쿠오카에서 점심까지 먹고 오후에 열차 타는것이 좋겠다.
그래서 아침은 하카타역 아뮤플라자 5층 무츠카토에 가서 샌드위치와 커피로 시작했다. 식사 마치고는 같은 빌딩 7층에 있는 금자안경점 가서 안경을 구경했다. 마음에 드는 알 작고 김구 식 안경이 너무 마음에 들었는데 비싸다. 5층 Jins안경점은 가격은 싼데 마음에는 안들고.
드디어 하카타역에서 소닉익스프레스 타고 2시간 후 벳푸역 도착.
분측 출구로 나와서 10분 걸어서 노가미혼칸 도착. 시설은 오래되었지만 깨끗하게 관리되고 주인장도 친절하다. 방은 다다미라서 지프라기 특유의 냄새가 많이 난다. 첫날은 그래서 잠을 설쳤는데 두째날은 피곤해서인지 쿨쿨 잤다.
가족 목욕탕 50분에 500엔 주고 느긋하게 릴렉스.
호텔 주변에는 일본식 정식을 파는 토요상, 도라야 등이 있는데 두 군데 다 가봤다. 맛집이다. 가성비도 너무 좋고.
다다미방 괜챃은분들은 여기 가보시라.

EEinfachDillonNicely located hotel with free Onsen. The rooms are fairly old and mine was once a smoker friendly room, which explains the slight smell of cigarettes and the yellowish walls. It is great that the hotel is located directly in front of the main station, but be aware of outside noise.
I still slept like a stone so for the price I can recommend it.
