EEduardo112Good but a bit ******. I have Japanese citizenship despite being of Caucasian ethnicity. The front desk employee asked me to submit a foreign resident ID without even confirming my nationality. Furthermore, Japanese citizens are not required to submit any ID. It was rude and concerning, as there are many non ethnically Japanese citizens in Japan.
Other than that, the hotel was ok, nothing extraordinarily good though. Thanks for the service.

PPengguna TetamuA lovely relaxing hotel right on the Beppu beach road. There was a definite air of old seaside town about the place and it was very chill - the onsen in the hotel itself was very nice and wasn't at all busy when we were there.
The breakfast however did get quite crowded with tour groups so going down later worked the best for us - if you had to go in peak time there was often a queue.
The room was compact but very comfortable and had all the things needed for a comfy stay. Staff were lovely and the japanese pj's provided we're a nice touch.
Fantastic location for traveling around beppu as well as arriving from Fukuoka and leaving to Oita airport. The hotel is right next to both bus stops.

JJudith AldI stayed at the female room which is very wide and it was quite so I could sleep very good. Even though it’s a capsule hotel the beds are also wide and very comfortable. The price andlocation is very convenient , the hotel is on the Beppu tower and it’s 15minutes walking from the Beppu Station. They can offer to keep your luggage for free. I would stay at this place again 👍

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel gives you a traditional & authentic onsen hotel experience. The room is very clean & private spa was the highlight, they have a public family spa which you can use when not occupied, it's a bigger outdoor bath but only pool. Dinner and breakfast were both impressively tasty.
The only problem I encountered was communication with staff, they don't speak much English and miscommunication could occur: for example I was asked and selected dinner time at 8pm, however there's no such option, the latest time is 6:30 or something, glad we didn't miss that! And during check out I thought staff arranged taxi for me after we talked, but ended up they did not, overall the experience is enjoyable and relaxing. But I'd recommend to use translator to ensure communication.

WWong AlexisBooked a room at this hotel as I have read great reviews regarding it. I must say I wasn't disappointed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was varied and delicious though it was the same for the 2 days that I was there. Stayed in the tatami room. Though the room looks a little run down, it is clean. The hotel spring was a bonus. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

CCtfan88The Seawave Hotel offers great value for money. The proximity to Beppu Station is a huge plus with free parking! We used self automated check in and out hence can’t really review service of the hotel; the room, while compact, was very clean and had everything we needed. A solid choice for a comfortable and convenient onsen stay in Beppu.

JJo TanPros: Stayed at Room 203 meant for 5 person… Spacious and comfortable room! Had a window too!
Good soundproofing between rooms. Only could hear passing by of trains while awake, so wasn’t a big an issue to us.
TV has YouTube and Netflix to watch!
Cons: No lift!!! We had to carry our heavy & big luggages to the 2nd floor! *Should indicate shortage of this important facility in the booking system!
Only 2 parking spaces for 7 units. *Should also indicate in the booking system that parking spaces are first come first served and have to park at nearby paying car parks if both were being taken up.
Will be nice to provide some garbage bags in the room as clearing of food waste from the room was definitely necessary during the many days of our stay!
Dining table (super wobbly and one side of the table legs seemed like giving away very soon) needs to changed/repaired instantly!

MMay LanLocation is near supermarket and family mart. A few Coin parking locations near the house. First floor has 2 rooms ＜1 double bed and 1 with twin beds＞ but no space for luggages, a small washing basin at the corner of the staircase. 1 wc and 2 showers at first floor. Washing machine ＜no dryer＞ on the first floor. 1 wc on 2nd floor. Living room on 3 floor. 2nd floor has 2 rooms ＜1 with 2 double beds and 1 single bed, another with a single bed＞. 2 washing basin on 2nd floor inside the rooms. It's not possible to bring big luggage up to narrow and steep staircase.no mirror on 1st floor so nid to climb up to wash and brush teeth. We wish the living room was the 1st floor. The music from nearby is bearable. Only know how to manage the water heater on 2nd day.
Suggestion to include rubbish bins on the first and 2nd floor. Add a mirror on first floor.
