Musky room. Itchy beds. Questionable bathroom cleanliness. Disgusting stain on the chair. Terrible bathtub drainage. Rotting wood furniture. Zero toiletries provided: had to call the reception before waiting 20 minutes for a toothbrush and some slippers. Non-functional A/C temperature control. Some of the worst TV set up I've seen in a while. Dizzying drive up to level 5 just for parking. Really slow receptionists. Horrible selection for breakfast, and even worse taste. I've never had scrambled eggs like this. At nearly RM250/night for the Fajar Deluxe King room, I'm being offered nothing but disappointment. Gun to my head and I still wouldn't stay here again, let alone recommend it to anyone. I'm embarrassed that I booked this hotel for me and my colleagues. I'm writing this review so that nobody makes the same mistake that I did. A sub-RM100 OYO could be better than this.

Near to Chai Leng Park food stalls. A lot of variety of food. The room is spacious

Hotel in a strategy location, a lot of food stalls around near hotel. staff are friendly, room is very clean except this time found a food string on the floor. air conditioner is not very cool but fan is provided. TV channel is not clear. other than that, all other things are ok.

Worst on service. Ask me to walk 10 minutes to nearest bank for deposit after a long hour driving from KL. Why not to just authorise credit card.

Bathroom is run down and particularly, the bath tub was disgusting

Overall it is good. Location is nice but sometimes might be jam during peak hours. Parking easily accessible. Variety of food around.

Value for money. Nice view of surroundings and even Penang Bridge. Lots of nice food stalls,,coffee shops,restaurants around.

Convenient location, in the market area, food, convenient goods, auto service etc within reach. Easy access to Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam

No value for money. Bed not comfortable. Took deposit but insist to refund only if original receipt returnes! Lucky i have not through
