After staying at the Regent, coming to this New World hotel felt like going from heaven to a farm stay – the drop in quality was immense. 🙌 Overall experience: When we arrived at the lobby by car, no one helped with our luggage for quite a while. Check-in included a welcome drink, and staff used a map to explain the resort facilities and restaurants. We also received two complimentary tickets to the 'Ocean of Heart' attraction. The hotel provides shuttle service to Sunset Town, which was quite convenient. Taking the buggy to our room, we found the actual room looked quite different from the photos online; the decor felt rather rough. The most disgusting part was the bottled water provided – it had a strange taste, so we didn't dare drink it. At midnight, the alarm clock by the bed suddenly went off by itself, giving us a huge fright. Such a basic mistake is just unbelievable. The next morning, breakfast was a chaotic mess, like a wet market, and the selection was pitifully small – barely enough to fill you up. When we called for a buggy to check out, we had to wait a full 20 minutes for it to arrive, almost making us miss our flight. Aside from the public pool area and the beach, which were decent, the room, breakfast, and service didn't meet our expectations. A harsh lesson learned: when choosing a hotel in Phu Quoc, save the Regent for last as the grand finale! My first time visiting Phu Quoc, and staying at the New World Phu Quoc Resort, a Rosewood property, was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal, very close to Sunset Town, just a 10-minute drive away. The resort also provides a free shuttle bus service there and back, and even offers complimentary admission to the evening fireworks show. The self-contained resort grounds offer a quiet yet lively atmosphere, and are very spacious with excellent facilities. They even have their own free water park, which is perfect for most friends looking for some fun if their expectations aren't too high. Each villa is unique and comes with its own private plunge pool. The resort's main shared pool is huge, and the beach, accessible directly from the resort, has crystal-clear water and fine sand, offering superb views. Choosing this resort for my trip was definitely the right decision.

The environment is fantastic, and overall it's a very relaxing place. The beach is beautiful, and the public pool is large and great for a relaxing stroll. The rooms are also clean.

The resort is huge, with golf carts shuttling guests between different areas. The pool and water park are excellent, truly amazing. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the menu changes daily.

The hotel is suitable for children, and the breakfast is plentiful. The hotel's beach has clear water and fine sand, and offers various ball games and water activities. The hotel manager handled the emergency exceptionally well.

The facilities were excellent! The pool, water park, and beach are all connected, and the pool is large enough that it doesn't feel crowded even with a lot of people. The restaurants were a pleasant surprise; all three were very good.

This resort is massive, and they offer free buggy service. All rooms are private villas. We booked the Signature One-Bedroom Pool Villa, which had two floors, three large bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a private pool. It was absolutely worth every penny! The hotel breakfast was plentiful, we ate so much every day that we couldn't even manage lunch. The hotel has a private white sand beach with incredibly fine, soft sand. The waves are small, and the coastline is long and gentle, perfect for kids to swim and play. The water park is open daily and free, keeping both adults and children entertained for hours.

The facilities were great, and the shuttle arrived quickly when called. However, upon arrival today, we found the hotel's water park was closed. It would have been better if guests were informed about this before check-in, so we wouldn't have discovered the closure only upon arrival.

Cleanliness: Fairly clean and reliable. Ambiance: Excellent privacy, very spacious. Service: Every staff member was great, trying their best to meet requests despite language barriers. Facilities: Very suitable for kids, with a pool and water park.

First time coming to Phu Quoc with my family and staying in a villa. The environment is excellent, with a large and beautiful pool connected to the beach, as well as a small water park that kept the kids entertained all day. The only downside is the limited variety of restaurants.

The resort offers free access to the water park, kids' club, cycling, and kayaking, so you won't get bored even if you stay in all day. Our room was a bit old and showed signs of wear, which felt a bit overpriced for the room itself. However, since the room rate includes free use of all facilities, it's acceptable. The breakfast buffet also had a good variety. It's a bit far to walk to other places, and you can call for a buggy for getting around, but there's usually a 5-10 minute wait. There's a shuttle bus to Sunset Town, but the frequency isn't high, so you might have to queue. The room rate also included an evening show, but we weren't interested, so we didn't watch it.

The value for money is pretty mediocre. On the surface, everything seems fine, but the details just don't live up to the price point of this hotel. The room comes with a pool, but it's so small you can't actually swim in it. The drainage in the room is poor, and the bathroom has an unpleasant smell. The lobby and breakfast area are always packed with people, giving it a chaotic, market-like feel. The hotel restaurant is just okay, with prices typical for a hotel. The airport shuttle was fully booked, and I couldn't even change the time. For the complimentary show, they just said to 'scan your face' without any further instructions, so I only found out at the venue that I needed to register with the hotel first. If I had to praise something, the breakfast was good.

We stayed in this resort for 6 nights and we really enjoyed it. The breakfast is great with many choices and they replenish the food quite quick so you can still enjoy the food you want even there are lots of people. The pool is big and kids friendly, especially the in house water park which is a big surprise for my kids. The service is great and there are lots of buggy around the resort to ensure the customers can go wherever they want in the resort! Location is really close to Sunset Town and the hotel provides 1 time free entry to kiss bridge and kiss of the sea show. Overall we enjoyed a lot!!!
