Hotel di Pantai Karon, Phuket

We had a great stay here. We first got free upgrade to the family room. The staff were friendly and helpful. What I was really grateful about was that I left Phuket for Krabi in a hurry so I forgot my envelop with cash in it (28k Balt). I called the hotel hoping someone could have found and kept it for me. But to be honest I didn’t have high hope as 28k Balt is a lot of money to the locals. To my great surprise they found it in the safe, and my power bank. A special thanks to the manager, Nancy! Our stay here was great. The facilities were top notch and the staff was very welcoming, helpful and hardworking. The location is good too. Everything in Phuket seems far away because of the traffic but the beach was in walking distance from the hotel which was great. The only thing we suggest is telling the customer upon checking that if the deposit is done by card the money would be returned in about two weeks, we recommend paying the deposit/guarantee in cash. Other than that everything is great. We had a great stay at Avista Grande. We will definitely stay there again!

We cannot comment this stay enough, particularly when thinking about value for money. We were welcomed on arrival and checked in early with a free room upgrade 😀 Our room was spacious, very clean and came with fridge, safe box, water, tea and coffee facilities, efficient air con and basic toiletries. Daily room cleaning was available on request (we opted for every second day) although fresh water was left every day. We made use of the laundry service which was quick and clothes came back in good condition. On our trip to koh phi phi, we were provided with some home made biscuits (complimentary) which was a lovely touch. Beach towels are available from reception and can be changed daily. We also needed an early check out which was accommodated without any issues. Location of this property is great. Quiet at night but with very easy walking distance to main restaurants and bars and shops and even closer to the night market if its on. We had dinner in the restaurant next door which was also excellent if looking for something close to the accommodation. Overall, we had a great stay and would 100% reccomend staying here!

Sangat berpuas hati dan mesti memujinya. Saya ke Thailand buat kali pertama dan menginap di 4 hotel ini adalah yang paling memuaskan. Dalam persekitaran hutan hujan tropika, bilik adalah vila kecil yang bebas, dan terdapat kolam renang di bawah balkoni Terdapat sejumlah 5 kolam renang di hotel dan kami mendaftar masuk 3 daripadanya Reka bentuknya yang unik. Tidak ramai orang di kolam renang dan tidak ada kanak-kanak. Ia sesuai untuk berenang dan mengambil gambar. Kategori sarapan sangat kaya. Terdapat 4 restoran dan 5 bar kolam untuk makan tengah hari dan makan malam tingkap itu sangat cantik. Walaupun ia berada di tengah-tengah gunung dan mengambil masa 10 minit untuk berjalan kaki ke pantai, hotel ini mempunyai 4 bas ulang-alik sehari untuk mengambil dan menghantar pada waktu yang dijadualkan. Adalah lebih baik untuk menambah lebih banyak bas. Secara keseluruhannya masih sangat berbaloi

A lovely resort and an amazing time. My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights as part of a fantastic Luxury Escapes package deal. We were quite fortunate with the scheduling, as it appeared to be the last nice week of weather before the wet season began. So the resort was very quiet, but this added to our enjoyment. The resort is located across the street from Karon Beach among the most stunning tropical botanical gardens. It is also a 15-minute taxi ride to Patong Beach and a 10-minute taxi ride to Kata Beach. Our room had been recently renovated and offered a stunning view of the pool, gardens, and the beach. Both restaurants provided good food and the pool was a wonderful place for a cocktail or just relaxing. The staff was amazing, always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Hotel is right on the beach in Karon (only hotel which offers this I believe) so the location is perfect for those who want beach access. Nothing else in the nearby area though, apart from a beach restaurant called Daengs - very reasonably priced food and drinks here; you will visit this place plenty rather than eating and drinking in the hotel. Compared to what you get outside, the hotels prices are high and you’d be foolish to eat all the time in the hotel with so many great food options in Karon, Patong and Kata. Karon town centre is about a 15-20 min walk along the beach - you have to cross a river on the beach so be prepared to get wet feet. Otherwise the walk into town is on a busy road with no walkway, so be prepared to use Bolt (this is best for Phuket NOT Grab) or a taxi to get anywhere from this hotel unless you walk along the beach. Our room was huge - Premium Room - and we had a huge wraparound balcony. However the balcony seemed like a bit of a waste of space (the “lounge” area was outside) - personally I think if it’s going to be designed as a suite with a lounge area, that should be inside the room not on the balcony as it was a waste of space. I’d probably only book this room category if I liked sitting outside all the time - a standard balcony with more space inside would’ve worked better. Having said that, the buildings and the grounds are IMMACULATE and BEAUTIFUL and you really do feel like you are staying in a paradise resort. The pool areas are great, there is a lazy river, slides and a cliff you can jump off - it’s a lot of fun for water babies! The only downside (other than no 7-11 or no other restaurants nearby) is that there are a LOT OF STAIRS to tackle here at the resort. There seem to be only 2 x elevators which will take you from the ground floor up to the bedrooms - and they are situated at either end of all the blocks. We stayed in block 4 and it was a 15 min trek back to the room from the pool. Or you walk up 72 stairs…yes, 72 stairs, to get to your block. Not advisable for elderly or infirm people. If there were more elevators (and clearly marked step free access) then this would make the resort a lot better.

We recently stayed at Pullman Karon for our anniversary for 17 nights, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The staff were amazing! Everyone was friendly, smiling, and always eager to help. We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded to a junior suite for free, and the bed was beautifully decorated for our anniversary. Their attention to detail and customer service truly made our stay special. Unfortunately, the room service food did not meet our expectations, and the same goes for the open international buffet. Although the selection was limited, the beef (steak) and fish barbecue were excellent. The pool area had a very good and relaxing ambiance. The bar was great, and the bartenders were amazing, serving delicious drinks and French fries. However, there was construction in one of the buildings that created loud and disturbing noise, which was not mentioned at the time of booking. Thankfully, we couldn't hear it from our room. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. We expected more variety from a 5-star hotel. Despite these minor issues, we were overall very satisfied with our stay. The exceptional service and thoughtful gestures made our anniversary celebration memorable.

1) Location is simply close to beach by walking across the street, one can put foot on soft sandy beach. 2) Unpleasant reception for checking in. One staff is at front office who was busy with the other check out guest. Standing in queue for over 10 minutes, staff did not pay attention and we had to ask if we can contact her for check in 3) Assigned room no 109 has some defects .. tv did not work, room and pillows are stinky with humid or strong odeur. Aircon is super noisy throughout the stay. Water leakage from bathtub and wet the floor. 4) security at gate was busy with mobile phone in the booth. Did not come out to signal the traffic at entrance and exit. 5) breakfast is quite ok but lots of birds came to pick and eat food on the buffet table. This is only for info and attention of the management. Used to stay at Wyndham hotel at other places, they are excellent and maintain better services and standard. Cheers. Boonshan

Great location ,service , room amities. Beach is 10 min walking distance. Lot of street food is just nearby. The hotel located away from busy street. So it’s perfect after busy day outside. You have everything in walking distance. Hotel room is spacious with balcony of lucky you will get room with an ocean view. We had ours and it was so calming to hear the wave sound every night
