Hotel di Piangaiano

Just back from wonderful 5 night stay to celebrate our friends birthday. We had 2 rooms superior lake view rooms with balcony. The rooms were clean, big and had a fridge the balcony accommodated all 5 of us for evening sun downers. The staff were friendly, kind and informative and went out of their way to help us have a good time. The restaurant had great pizzas and the 4 course evening menu was extensive and far too much but usually always something to enjoy. Luca and team in the restaurant worked so hard but always with a smile. The situation of the hotel couldn’t be better fantastic views and easy walk to centre where you can explore the old town, marina, bars and shops. We had a beautiful day taking the boat to the island in the lake, Monte Isola few hours there a beer and a walk which is a must. The boat gave us glimpses of other villages on the lake as it did drop offs. All in all a great break and would recommend.

Io e mia moglie abbiam fatto un soggiorno di dieci giorni in pieno comfort e avventura. E si perche', al contrario di tanti ospiti generalmente sedentari per via delle cure alle terme, noi abbiamo usato l'Hotel come stupenda base d'appoggio, per girare nel raggio di oltre 100 km, posti stupendi naturalistici e paesaggisti. Ma veniamo alla descrizione dell'albergo che abbiam ritenuto ordinato molto pulito e arredato con giusta sobrieta' anche nei particolari. La stanza discretamente ampia ha tutti i comfort e tutto funzionante e ordinato. L'Hotel presenta molti punti bellissimi in cui soggiornare e rilassarsi, dalla Hall, a salottini all'aperto nel giardino con fontanella, sala tivu accogliente e ottima palestra, piscina e quant'altro. Parliamo ora del ristorante. La sala bella i tavoli apparecchiati con eleganza e professionalita' come anche il servizio e la disponibilita' del personale e dei gentili proprietari. L'unica nota stonata e di demerito, il buffet di sole verdure e sempre lo stesso, una grande monotonia come anche la colazione sempre uguale, poi darei uno zero assoluto alle macchinette che producono bevande calde (queste macchinette purtroppo sempre piu' diffuse negli alberghi), in effetti elargiscono ciofeche. Uscendo era necessario farsi un buon caffe' al bar. Il pranzo discretamente abbondante era buonissimo cosi come sentivo le materie prime. Non parliamo poi dei dessert di dolci da 10 e lode, buoni e tanti. Noi ci sentiamo di consigliare questo Hotel Diana a tutti e non solo a chi fa uso delle terme, ma anche a chi come noi piace fare trekking, vedere montagne, laghi, e tanti paesini suggestivi. Se capitera' noi ci torneremo senza ombra di dubbio, il prezzo del soggiorno e' concorrenziale. Bravi a tutta la famiglia e al personale.

Hotel peggiore mai trovato in tutta la mia vita, non tanto per l’aspetto ma per il personale e la gestione. Prenotiamo per Pasqua 3 camere di cui 2 triple più tre culle e 1 singola con cena inclusa, arriviamo la mattina dove un ragazzo alla reception ci conferma che la cena c’era nonostante ovunque ci fosse scritto che la domenica era chiuso il ristorante. Alle 19 scendiamo per la cena e nessuno ci considera, aspettiamo quasi 40 minuti e decidiamo di rivolgerci noi alla ragazza in reception che ci dice che il ristorante è chiuso e che non avrebbe potuto darci nulla perché aveva un macchinario rotto, passano 20 minuti , il tempo che noi cerchiamo un ristorante per Pasqua per 11 persone, torna la ragazza e ci dice che avremmo potuto cenare con affettati !?!?!?! Con tre bimbe sotto i due anni mi pare poco consono. La notte dormiamo in 4 in un letto matrimoniale perché la culla non ci è stata data, una notte infernale, un ****** assurdo. La mattina andiamo a colazione dove una famiglia a noi sconosciuta, si stava lamentando perché alle 1 di notte sono stati costretti a cambiare non una ma ben DUE camere. Veniamo via molto scontenti e chiediamo un rimborso, rimborso negato dal titolare con tanto di bugie riportate in una mail scritta. Addirittura siamo stati accusati di aver usufruito di una bottiglia di acqua non pagata, mi chiedo dove posso averla presa visto che nelle camere non era presente il frigo bar, oltretutto ci è stato detto che abbiamo infastidito durante la colazione, ma non eravamo noi. Beautiful views and clean rooms in a dreamy setting

A wonderful place to stay in a most beautiful part of Italy. Our room had brilliant views over the lake. Perfectly comfortable and clean room. Outstanding staff always ready to do that little bit extra for guests, excellent food and generous breakfast buffet. You do need a car (or at least a bike) though to get into town.

Can't wait to go back. This was our second stay at the hotel. We had been so impressed in 2022 that we returned with this year with 2 other couples. Glad to say they were as impressed as we had been. The staff are super friendly and look after your every need. This included the lifeguard (Michele) who was really helpful with one of our party who has mobility problems.

Comodo Ostello sito a pochi passi dal centro storico di Lovere,gode di una meravigliosa vista lago...camera semplice ma ben pulita con un comodo bagno,ottima l'insonorizzazione della stanza,in quanto zona di passaggio auto...colazione molto buona e abbondante, a buffet...in ogni piano c'è una terrazza vista lago dove potersi rilassare...personale gentilissimo.
