Plymouth East

This is second time we have stayed here it is a good premier inn. Nice and clean with lovely staff especially Kelly who checked us in. Even though this hotel is undergoing renovation there was no noise to desturbe guests and everywhere was kept clean.

Lovely stay, friendly receptionist who went above and beyond. Provided map for the local area and helped with ideas for what we could do during our stay. Beautifully clean room, old but notice on reception door about transformation. We will be back

Stayed here as a stop over for going further down into Devon and Cornwall the next day. Arrived and checked in with ease. Staff on front counter very helpful and were happy to assist with letting us borrow an iron and ironing board. Room was clean, teas, coffees etc all in room. no issues. A pleasant stay. Parking is free you just give in your car registration when you check in.

Brilliant hotel and staff. Huge car park which is handy not having to worry if there’s going to be a space when you arrive. Room was clean. And nice meal in the beefeater next door which was super busy. But the standout thing for me was the hotel being so family friendly. Kirsty the receptionist greeted us and asked our permission if she could give our girls a gift bag, I thought this was brilliant my children loved kirsty and said this was the “best hotel ever!!” She also showed us the children’s books that can be borrowed I thought this was a brilliant idea for families!!

I stay at this hotel quite a lot for work, i choose this hotel for the free parking and because of the wonderful staff. Everyone's so friendly but i would like to give a special mention to Kirsty, it gets quite lonely being in a hotel room all week for work,so every time i go down for a ciggy i make conversation with Kirsty and she always makes time to listen and talk, i probably bore her senseless but she still takes that time to chat, its very much appreciated as from experience not all premier inns have the friendly staff that you get at this particular hotel. I hope someone within the higher up management see this review as your staff at this hotel are a credit to you! My room is always spotlessly clean and i love the bar next door although the drinks are very pricey, its a Really good atmosphere and Jo always makes me laugh.

We had a long journey to get to this hotel and our little ones were fed up and grumpy, we were trying to check in and they were playing up a little, Kirsty your lovely receptionist engaged with them and gave them both a little goodie bag they were made up with this! We thought it was a wonderful touch. Check in was quick and reception were welcoming and friendly. Room was ok, not one of the better premier inns we have stayed in as it’s a little dated and run down, but was very clean which is more important, also saw the receptionist cleaning and hoovering when we went out to dinner. Every time we passed through reception the reception staff said hi even in the morning when we left. We were going to complain about the noise coming from one of the rooms but as we were about to go to reception kirsty was already dealing with this and we had a peaceful night after that. This is a very welcoming hotel so we would use this one again, although we probably won’t have breakfast In the beefeater next door again though, it gets way over booked and was just not a nice experience at all!
