We stayed in The Richmond from the 15th to the 18th of June this year. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, especially the architecture of the place certainly has a French vibe. The rooms were genuinely clean, with a decent amount of space. However, the pillows were more fluffy than I would have preferred. The breakfast served was okayish (it would have been better if they had more varieties). We had French food for dinner on our last night, and it was delicious. To sum it up, we enjoyed our stay at The Richmond and would definitely love to visit again.

The suite on the first floor with the balcony and a swing on the porch was amazing. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The cleanliness and hygiene was impeccable. Very smooth process of arranging the airport pick-up and drop from Chennai Airport. The hotel is close to almost everything in white town. We also booked a bike rental with them to visit Auroville and to go kayaking in the mangrove forests. A lot of restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. The best part is the proximity to the promenade beach - just 4 min walk .

I went to get my France Visa from Pondi and decided to make a vacation out of it. The property is situated in the prime of Pondi, with the finest of sea views. The room opened into the sea view and one hears only the sound of waves at night. While the beach is crowded with visitors in the evening, later evenings and mornings are quite serene. They have a breakfast and rooftop restras and one can enjoy sea view meals all day and night which is the best part about the property. In terms of rooms, there is a lot to be desired as for the price, the rooms are not so great. Service is also below par in terms of employees not caring a lot to make you comfortable inside the room, cleaning schedules or even seating you in restras, I waited for 30 mins at least once to be seated at the roof top vietnamese restra when I had a table booked.

4 stars for the chef, 2.5 for the place. We had gone here for 31st dinner, i suffer from gluten allergy, chef Karna was helpful in guiding and preparing food for me. Although it was really difficult to catch hold of the staff, had to personally go and ask for update on our order. The food was tasty though, we had risotto and bbq cottage cheese with herb rice.

We had the most memorable stay at The Residency, Pondicherry. The amazing hotel staff, the house-keeping, the duty manager and the managers at the restaurants looked after us with the utmost hospitality. Our bed was very comfortable and all the amenities in the room were of a great standard. We stayed in pondicherry for a few days and were taken around the area in a hotel cab. The drivers were courteous and we felt very safe. The buffet option at the hotel was lovely and we ate at the pavillion a few times enjoying foods from both south indian and international cuisines. We didn't get a chance to try out the spa or the pool at the hotel but we went for an exploration and both looked spotlessly clean and inviting. Perhaps, next time we are in the city! Highly recommend The Residency Pondicherry as a stay to everyone planning to visit this part of the country.

It's a budget value hotel i stayed in puducherry and little far from beach. Those who don't want to stay inside the city crown can stay here with friends, Get together, Marriage functions, couples, Family too. Very neat room and i will refer my friends to stay back. If you are planning by car or bike so you can reach to hotel directly or if planned to come by Bus or Train you have to take auto or Cab to reach this hotel & Friendly staff. Vivek sir guided me near by swimming pool do i spent some time over there.
