Extrêmement déçu pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. C était notre seconde venue sur Prague en amoureux. Nous avons l habitude de parcourir l Europe plusieurs fois par an pour ces occasions là. Nous avions pris une suite junior : insonorisation déplorable, cheveux dans la salle de bain, bonde de baignoire sale Le petit déjeuner n est pas à la hauteur : jus de fruits en supplément, café expresso en supplément, 2 ou 3 variété de thé en sachets bas de gamme, les tables de restauration ne sont pas nettoyées au fur et à mesure. Dans la salle de petit-déjeuner, certains éléments du personnel ne sont pas attentifs et passent leur temps à ”glousser” appuyées à 2 ou 3 personnes sur le meuble de couverts. L aspirateur est passé au moment du petit déjeuner. Une seule taille d'oreiller disponible, il s'agit d'oreillers dossiers, extrêmement décoratifs mais peu confortables pour le sommeil, et si vous demandez, aucun autre format n'est possible. Un peu de mobilier cassé. Cela gâche une chambre exceptionnelle, un personnel malgre tout agréable et une localisation privilégiée. Bref pour un Ibis 3 étoiles, j aurais dit excellent, pour un 5 étoiles ce n est pas admissible. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

Booking from 14/02/2023 to 21/02/2023 for 4 people in BHG APARTMENT We overnight stay in APARTMENT 2 and on 20/02/2023 (dd/mm/yy) from 2 p.m. the water felts in our apartment so we had unease about hygiene and services (cooking included). We talked with reception and they said that we had to wait. At 6 p.m. we called again the reception to search for more information and we waiting until 7:30 p.m. They called us and said that finally we’ve been change our apartment with another. We were really tired (in order to not having a place were we could relax ourselves for hours before go out again in the night). So on, the other apartment was far from the first hotel; far from the central place (OLD TOWN SQUARE) where we want to overnight stay and of what we payed; and it also was in a place not really quite. The apartment was really bad, doesn’t respect the standards of a 4 stars hotel because it was really dirty, smaller, fetiscent and with no services (bidet, terrace, hob, oven…). We hadn’t a room from 2 p.m. if we liked to have a shower, we couldn’t! It was 9 p.m. and we really don’t even know where we had to sleep, where we had to go to the toilet and where we had to put our 6 luggage! The girl who stayed at the reception, Tatsiana, (and her manager too) propose us to have the night free and stay in that bad apartment, and also they will give us a voucher from 200 CROWN (exactly 8 euros) so on we could spend it for a dinner in the terrace with a special sit to admire the view! For what? If we’ve accepted, where we’ve to sleep? Certainly not in that dirty apartment! Obviously we said no and reject her propose (you can’t buy people with money or offer them a voucher from 200 crowns, when they are telling you that don’t have a place to overnight stay!) Over that, she told us that she was already called others hotels looking for a room, but they were all full! And also their sisterhood hotel and their presidential rooms was full! That’s no possibile! There are so many hotels near by Old Town Square! And a real hotel can’t be full on a Monday in February! Hotels always have a spare rooms! After 30/40 minutes a man come to us telling that they found a room in another hotel who was 2 minutes from “Hotel U Prince”! Weren’t it all full?! It was 10 p.m and we were really mad, tired and we couldn’t enjoy our last night in Prague! Leave and learn. I will never recommend this hotel.

I just spent 3 days at this fantastic hotel. First off the location is unbeatable, close enough to the old square to enjoy it easily but a block away so you don’t have to worry about the noise during events. The hotel staff were exceptional and so welcoming. Josef the manager will go the extra mile to make your stay special and feel like home. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay wonderful and I look forward to returning.

I am very disappointed that out of all hotel in Prague we needed up with Ambassador hotel ! Since day 1 and the staff are not friendly nor helpful though we are traveling with an infant and a toddler! The room is not clean either ! we have found a spider web dangling on the rooms’ ceiling ! The worst part of when we try calling the front desk , their phone seems to be damaged and they cut the line as they can’t listen . We had a 6 hours flight and we need to be comfortable and happy with finally reaching the hotel but this hotel is definitely not what I was expecting or hoping to experience . This is the first experience at Prague and I hope I don’t get disappointed further.

Great location, confortable rooms and awesome breakfast. We stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. The staff is super friendly and they even help us book a walking tour. They gave us a free upgrade at arrival and and free bottle of wine. You can’t beat the location. It is seconds away from the old town square and you can walk everywhere. We will definitely stay here next time.

Super location. Walkable to most of the main tourist attraction. Lots of restaurants and cafe surrounding. Closed to tram and train station. Grocery also round the corner. The hotel is pretty old. Breakfast is standard, not as good as other hotel I stayed in Prague before. I got a room in building C, which quite long way to go and need to change lift to get to the room. Good point is super quiet room.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Croatia by car. The room was big and suitable for all 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters 16&19). We made a very late booking and also had a ferry delay but the staff made all the arrangements for a smooth late checkin and also the parking for the car. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to the center. Would absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for the serviceminded staff.

I don't often leave reviews, as I always give the hotels a chance to rectify issues which are usually resolved. I've worked in the same industry for over 15 years, and dislike the reviewers who have not given the hotel a chance to rectify an issue before posting. However on this occasion I was very disappointed. I had explained to reception that my room was not cooling down with the air conditioning, which was advertised for your rooms when I had made this booking. I was told maybe I wasn't doing it correctly. I explained I did it correctly. I was told that maybe I should open the window instead. When I had said that it was very noisy and my room was right by the highway. There was also someone watering the plants with a jet at around 10pm on that very day. I was then told the air-conditioning units do not work until later on in the year. If they do not work, then why was I asked if I understood how to use it. It just felt like the receptionist was contraditing themselves. I just came from a short break in tenerife and also had an issue. The only difference was I had maintenance resolving the issue. Not once was I offered to speak to the duty manager if you have one. I wasn't offered maintenance to have a look. I wasn't offered anything to make my stay better apart from something like ”I'm sorry there's not a lot we can do”. Now to the positive parts. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the mall and the trams are easy to get around. The hotel is generally quite good for the price you pay. The other bonus about this hotel was the unique cable cart. Unfortunately I've had to cut my holiday short and I had decided to book a hotel where the air-conditioning is actually working as advertised.

Stayed at the Praha 5 with my husband and two sons plus their girlfriends (all in their 20s). We were all impressed with the wide comfortable beds, the stylish bathrooms and the friendly service. (I was there on my birthday and they marked it with birthday cake and towel sculptures :-)). The breakfast was tasty too and the hotel was very clean. This area of Prague is a 25 minute walk from the Petrin Tower, but very close to a good shopping area, and eating out around here is relatively cheap.

This was our third visit to this wonderful hotel, which is situated in a great area. We found so many local cafes, bars, restaurants, markets, parks and shops in Zizkov and Vinohrady that, on this occasion, we rarely chose to travel into the city centre. However, if you do wish to visit the centre, or indeed anywhere in Prague, there is an abundance of first-rate travel options at your disposal. The hotel itself is exceptional,  with large rooms, which are  very clean and comfortable. There is also a fantastic breakfast buffet avaliable.  All amenities are provided to make your stay a home from home. Hotel Carlton is a hidden gem, and front office manager Blanka and all the members of staff with whom we were in contact (receptionists/breakfast/housekeeping) could not have been more professional, personable and helpful. We are looking forward to returning to Hotel Carlton next year. Taking everything into account (hotel, location, staff, atmosphere) we simply wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Prague.  Very highly recommended.

This is a clean, inexpensive, cute hotel in the center of Prague. Location wise you cannot do better for the price. 5 minutes from all major sites, 2 minutes from the metro, 15 minutes to the railway station. The staff is very polite and helpful, especially Martin and Jacob and they speak English fluently. The breakfast is fresh and delicious, slightly lacking in fruits but still plentiful. They even offered free mulled wine in the evenings! The room was clean and comfortable. There's a safe in the room. Bathroom is functional although as in many older Prague buildings water drainage in the shower takes a bit of time, but eventually drains. Water pressure and temperature were excellent. There's no elevator in the building so be ready to walk with your luggage a few steps. Access is easy, check in and check out seem less. There may be music from the bars on the street on the weekend but that's what you get for a central location. My suggestions: please offer free water in the rooms. 120kc for a bottle of water is excessive. Please include at least one wash cloth , it's a shame to be using larger towels for this. And a tiny bottle of shampoo would have been much appreciated. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back.

Este alojamiento se encuentra cerca de los atractivos turísticos más destacados del centro de Praga. Para empezar, llegar allí después de haber arribado a la ciudad en avión, resultó sencillo, pues tomamos primero un bus desde el aeropuerto que nos acercó a una estación de metro, donde tomamos la línea A y nos bajamos en la estación Mustek, la cual queda en pleno centro, en la Plaza Wesceslao, prácticamente a tres cuadras del hotel. La persona de la recepción muy amable, la habitación, que era para dos, era pequeña, pero bien organizada y limpia, con baño compartido, el cual permanecía muy aseado. El hotel ofrecía un desayuno muy bien servido, estilo buffet, no muy variado, pero suficiente y saludable. Me gustó mucho que por la calle del hotel había un mercadillo muy simpático para hacer compras de souvenirs, además todo era relativamente cercano y fácil de recorrer, como ir a la Plaza de la Ciudad Vieja, o caminar por la Plaza Wesceslao para hacer shopping, o simplemente perderse por los callejones admirando los lindos adornos en murano y cristal de bohemia, o las famosas muñecas matrioskas. Praga es, sin duda alguna, una ciudad muy bella para contemplar y hosped**** en este alojamiento lo hace encantador y sencillo. Lo recomiendo!!

This is a clean, inexpensive, cute hotel in the center of Prague. Location wise you cannot do better for the price. 5 minutes from all major sites, 2 minutes from the metro, 15 minutes to the railway station. There's no elevator in the building so be ready to walk with your luggage a few steps. Access is easy, check in and check out seem less. There may be music from the bars on the street on the weekend but that's what you get for a central location. My suggestions: please offer free water in the rooms. 120kc for a bottle of water is excessive. Please include at least one wash cloth , it's a shame to be using larger towels for this. And a tiny bottle of shampoo would have been much appreciated. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back.

La persona de la recepción muy amable, la habitación, que era para dos, era pequeña, pero bien organizada y limpia, con baño compartido, el cual permanecía muy aseado. El hotel ofrecía un desayuno muy bien servido, estilo buffet, no muy variado, pero suficiente y saludable. Me gustó mucho que por la calle del hotel había un mercadillo muy simpático para hacer compras de souvenirs, además todo era relativamente cercano y fácil de recorrer, como ir a la Plaza de la Ciudad Vieja, o caminar por la Plaza Wesceslao para hacer shopping, o simplemente perderse por los callejones admirando los lindos adornos en murano y cristal de bohemia, o las famosas muñecas matrioskas. Praga es, sin duda alguna, una ciudad muy bella para contemplar y hosped**** en este alojamiento lo hace encantador y sencillo. Lo recomiendo!!

The hotel has big rooms, well furnished, clean. Location is excllent Just right in the middle of all attractions, excllent and very helful staff. Very Good breakfast with good selections. Ms. Maria the front desk officer was extremely helpful and took an excllent care of us. Also helped use going around with excllent talent in chossing for us where to go and eat. She also arranged transportation and made sure that we reached our destinations. In fact from the care and the kindness of the hotel staff we felt very happy and secure. I recommend this hotel. I need to mention. The hotel has good restaurant too.

Old Town
We stayed here for 4 nights and could not fault it. The staff were exceptional from check in through to leaving on our last day. This was one of the cheapest hotels in Prague when we booked & we were pleasantly surprised. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of the old town and easy to get to everything. We got there quite late on the Friday and the gentleman was lovely. Our room was on the 7th floor and was spacious and clean. The road outside can be quite noisy but wasn’t an issue for us. One thing I would mention is that understandably the rooms do not get cleaned everyday, so we had to ask for extra towels mid way through which wasn’t an issue. Bit of a smell from the bathroom when we checked in , can assume it was to do with the sewage system, again nothing major and that we couldn’t deal with. Do note the shower space In rooms on the top floor is not very spacious, if you’re extra tall you might struggle! On our last day we were able to leave our luggage for free of charge in a locked room so felt very safe leaving stuff here. Thankyou for a lovely stay! We will definitely look here again if we come back to Prague!
