Really nice hotel close to the main attractions of the city. Smooth and quick check-in. Tasty breakfast. Beautiful view from the window. Will stay again when in Prague.

Hotel was in a good location not far from the cathedral

Just back from a delightful stay at The Golden Wheel. Rooms: We stayed in room 412 which looked out on the street at the front of the property. It was very clean and all amenities I would expect. A mini fridge and safe to use and tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The bed is really comfortable with a nice firmer mattress. The bedding was clean and in a good condition. The room was a perfect temperature with an adjustable thermostat. The furniture was of good quality and the overall appearance was nice with wooden floors and wooden beams. Bathroom: Clean and modern. The water was always hot and the shower had good water pressure. There was liquid hair and body wash and also a separate hand wash. Towels were of good quality and as I only stayed for 3 nights, I put the towels on the radiator to dry to save useless changing. Breakfast: Picture attached. As I’m not a big breakfast eater, it was adequate for me. There were several different breads, cold meats and cheese. Different cereals and some pastries and cakes. Hot selection consisted of ready cooked fried eggs, cooked sausage and vegetables. Various different teas and two bean to cup coffee machines. Hotel has a good overall appearance which is Czech in style. I liked this as it felt authentic and not a stereotypical chain that all looks the same. I am quite particular when it come to hotel and I would definitely stay again if I find myself back in Prague!

Poor hotel in good location. Rude, russian speaking personel. Poorest room cleaning I’ve seen - towels not changed, shower gel diluted with water, no toiletries. Dirty glasses not washed. Poor breakfast with little choice. It should be called a no star hostel.

I love walking down Nerudova on any holiday I take to this fascinating city, so many beautiful buildings along this street, one I love to view is House Of The Golden Wheel. A wonderful looking building, narrow with a sumptuous Baroque facade ,there's a relief of a golden wheel that adds class to what is already a classy building, if you're walking down Nerudova it's a building to most definitely check out.

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Golden Wheel. The room was spacious, the beds are really comfortable and everything was very clean and the double shower was great. Outside was very cold but the room was very warm, we had to open the window! The room also had a smart TV which we were able to log into our Netflix account. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the young man working nights. The location of the hotel is fantastic with only a 5-10 walk to the Charles Bridge. It is halfway up a rather steep hill and the entry steps are a bit awkward. Whilst there are lifts in the building there are many areas within the hotel that have 2-3 steps to access various rooms, which was a little awkward with our suitcase.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Very good location, spacious and clean rooms, charming place. The breakfast was perfect even though there was not a big selection. The best thing was the friendly lady at the reception  Very funny – thanks! I had a great stay and can recommend that place for sure!

Very friendly receptionist, nice big rooms with modern furniture, as you would not expect in such an old house from the Middle Ages. In the rooms there is a safe, coffee/tea-machine, fridge and air-conditioning.Bathroom with everything you need. Very clean. Our rooms were on the street-side, but not noisy. They did not charge us for the third person in one of the rooms we had booked for our party of five people. Breakfast was nicer than expected ( as read in former reviews) . There was even cooked vegetables! Variety of eggs, sausages, yoghurt , fruit, cake etc. Efficient coffee-machine. Only inconvenience of this little hotel if you come by car, there is no reserved parking- space for hotel guests. You have to be lucky as we were to find one within the blue lines in front of the hotel. For this you have to pay a certain ( little) amount per day.

We arrived at hotel and I was sick with a stomach bug. I threw up in the lift. The Staff could not be more helpful and friendly nothing was too much bother. They took our bags to our room and when I had recovered they asked me how I was. The room was everything we could ask for comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice with plenty to choose from. There was a even mixed veg!! The location was good and close to the castle and main attractions. A very good Vegan restaurant and other places to eat and drink including a lovely Irish pub the Three fiddles. We loved our visit and will have no hesitation on staying here again

Just came back from spending a long weekend in Prague. The location is excellent with only a short 10-minute walk uphill to the castle and downhill to some great bars and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and had a lovely vintage feel but with a modern make-over. The room we had overlooked the street and was big, clean, and surprisingly not that noisy with the windows open at night. This is not a hotel for stags as it was very calm and quiet so worked great for the wife and me. The staff was friendly and as everyone commented the breakfast was good and lots of it but the same every day but can't grumble for the price we paid for the stay. Would stay again if we ventured back to Prague.

Décevant, la chambre était sale, salle de bain pas nettoyée durant 3 jours . Compliqué pour récupérer caution. Je conseille de bien cheeker la chambre avant de vous y installer car ils trouvent des subterfuges pour ne pas rendre la caution.

Dans cet hotel, le personnel est vraiment adorable, serviable et souriant et nous les remercions de leur accueil. Les chambres sont spacieuses, calmes et confortables. Les salle d’eau sont claires et l’eau chaude abondante quelque soit l’heure. La situation de cet hôtel, en centre ville est appréciable et la proximité du réseau de trams est une facilité. Les petits déjeuners sont servis dans 2 pièces en longueur et, malgré la variété elle reste d’une qualité insuffisante, les croissants semblent de la veille, les gâteaux sont aussi un peu passés. D’ailleurs ils ne rencontrent pas un grand succès. Les confitures maison sont savoureuses mais le grille pain n’est pas très commode car il a une fâcheuse tendance au lancé de tartines…🤣 La machine à café est également très bruyante. C’est assez drôle cette salle de petit déjeuner quand on voit les réactions des clients confrontés au matériel ! Le déplacement dans l’hôtel jusqu’au 1er étage se fait par un grand escalier en bois en colimaçon…pas franchement pratique… il permet l’accès à l’ascenseur après 3 marches arrondies assez dangereuses car il n’y a pas de signalisation au sol et les marches sont exactement du même ton que le carrelage, un marquage serait bienvenu. Donc un séjour agréable grâce à la qualité de l’accueil mais quelques points mériteraient d’être améliorés !

Es muy buena la ubicación, pero como todo Praga tiene escalones de todos los tamaños, rampas y para ir más arriba del 2 piso hay doble ascensor con 7 escalones y rampa entre uno y otro. El desayuno no vale 10€, es pobre. Habitación y baño muy confortable. Son muy atentos. Si sos joven y con poco equipaje está bien.

Ci siamo ritrovati ad alloggiare in questo hotel dopo una prenotazione tramite un sito che ci ha organizzato questa fantastica esperienza. L’hotel si trova nella parte vecchia della città di Praga, in un vicoletto molto carino dove l’unico inconveniente e’ quello di affrontare una lunga salita un po’ faticosa. Il servizio molto accogliente ed ospitale. Camera molto ampia con una piccola finestrella dove si può vedere una parte del Castello, un armadio per i vestiti che comprende anche un mobile con bevande, un altro mobile più grande dove è situata la TV ( visibile soltanto se si sa la loro lingua),un letto molto comodo ed un bagno altrettanto carino e molto spazioso. Peccato per quella salita un po’ faticosa altrimenti sarebbe stato perfetto!
