Booking from 14/02/2023 to 21/02/2023 for 4 people in BHG APARTMENT We overnight stay in APARTMENT 2 and on 20/02/2023 (dd/mm/yy) from 2 p.m. the water felts in our apartment so we had unease about hygiene and services (cooking included). We talked with reception and they said that we had to wait. At 6 p.m. we called again the reception to search for more information and we waiting until 7:30 p.m. They called us and said that finally we’ve been change our apartment with another. We were really tired (in order to not having a place were we could relax ourselves for hours before go out again in the night). So on, the other apartment was far from the first hotel; far from the central place (OLD TOWN SQUARE) where we want to overnight stay and of what we payed; and it also was in a place not really quite. The apartment was really bad, doesn’t respect the standards of a 4 stars hotel because it was really dirty, smaller, fetiscent and with no services (bidet, terrace, hob, oven…). We hadn’t a room from 2 p.m. if we liked to have a shower, we couldn’t! It was 9 p.m. and we really don’t even know where we had to sleep, where we had to go to the toilet and where we had to put our 6 luggage! The girl who stayed at the reception, Tatsiana, (and her manager too) propose us to have the night free and stay in that bad apartment, and also they will give us a voucher from 200 CROWN (exactly 8 euros) so on we could spend it for a dinner in the terrace with a special sit to admire the view! For what? If we’ve accepted, where we’ve to sleep? Certainly not in that dirty apartment! Obviously we said no and reject her propose (you can’t buy people with money or offer them a voucher from 200 crowns, when they are telling you that don’t have a place to overnight stay!) Over that, she told us that she was already called others hotels looking for a room, but they were all full! And also their sisterhood hotel and their presidential rooms was full! That’s no possibile! There are so many hotels near by Old Town Square! And a real hotel can’t be full on a Monday in February! Hotels always have a spare rooms! After 30/40 minutes a man come to us telling that they found a room in another hotel who was 2 minutes from “Hotel U Prince”! Weren’t it all full?! It was 10 p.m and we were really mad, tired and we couldn’t enjoy our last night in Prague! Leave and learn. I will never recommend this hotel.

I just spent 3 days at this fantastic hotel. First off the location is unbeatable, close enough to the old square to enjoy it easily but a block away so you don’t have to worry about the noise during events. The hotel staff were exceptional and so welcoming. Josef the manager will go the extra mile to make your stay special and feel like home. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay wonderful and I look forward to returning.

Extrêmement déçu pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. C était notre seconde venue sur Prague en amoureux. Nous avons l habitude de parcourir l Europe plusieurs fois par an pour ces occasions là. Nous avions pris une suite junior : insonorisation déplorable, cheveux dans la salle de bain, bonde de baignoire sale Le petit déjeuner n est pas à la hauteur : jus de fruits en supplément, café expresso en supplément, 2 ou 3 variété de thé en sachets bas de gamme, les tables de restauration ne sont pas nettoyées au fur et à mesure. Dans la salle de petit-déjeuner, certains éléments du personnel ne sont pas attentifs et passent leur temps à ”glousser” appuyées à 2 ou 3 personnes sur le meuble de couverts. L aspirateur est passé au moment du petit déjeuner. Une seule taille d'oreiller disponible, il s'agit d'oreillers dossiers, extrêmement décoratifs mais peu confortables pour le sommeil, et si vous demandez, aucun autre format n'est possible. Un peu de mobilier cassé. Cela gâche une chambre exceptionnelle, un personnel malgre tout agréable et une localisation privilégiée. Bref pour un Ibis 3 étoiles, j aurais dit excellent, pour un 5 étoiles ce n est pas admissible. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

Great location, confortable rooms and awesome breakfast. We stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. The staff is super friendly and they even help us book a walking tour. They gave us a free upgrade at arrival and and free bottle of wine. You can’t beat the location. It is seconds away from the old town square and you can walk everywhere. We will definitely stay here next time.

Probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in just due to the overall hospitality & it was the small things that made a difference. I was offered a glass of champagne while checking in, a couple complimentary chocolates were in my room & also a a personalised greeting card which were all nice touches. Location was great, the walk into city centre was nice too in the good weather. It rained once in the evening while I was there & was able to get an umbrella from reception. My room had a really nice vibe with the big Buddha statue in the corner & the bed was massive & really comfortable. The breakfast was definitely overall the best in terms of quality of ingredients being used. I’ve been in hotels with bigger selections but lesser quality. I can’t speak on the spa as I didn’t use it but was told it’s a very private spa & only you’ll be in there on a time you book, no other guests can use so can imagine couples would really enjoy that. Would definitely stay here again & Prague was a great city to be honest so I will definitely return.

Good point is super quiet room.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Croatia by car. The room was big and suitable for all 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters 16&19). We made a very late booking and also had a ferry delay but the staff made all the arrangements for a smooth late checkin and also the parking for the car. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to the center. Would absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for the serviceminded staff.

The NH is a great hotel for touring Prague, as it’s an easy walk to tram stops and the Metro. It’s also not far from shops and restaurants. Our rate included breakfast, which was very good and consisted of the usual bainmaries, as well as a good selection of bread, bakery items and cereals. Staff were capable and efficient. Pre-stay emails were answered in a friendly manner and all requests were granted. As a Titanium Discovery member, I was given a generous upgrade, welcome amenities and late check-out. Our Duplex Suite was terrific; spacious, very comfortably furnished and offering great views back over the city.

This was our third visit to this wonderful hotel, which is situated in a great area. We found so many local cafes, bars, restaurants, markets, parks and shops in Zizkov and Vinohrady that, on this occasion, we rarely chose to travel into the city centre. However, if you do wish to visit the centre, or indeed anywhere in Prague, there is an abundance of first-rate travel options at your disposal. The hotel itself is exceptional,  with large rooms, which are  very clean and comfortable. There is also a fantastic breakfast buffet avaliable.  All amenities are provided to make your stay a home from home. Hotel Carlton is a hidden gem, and front office manager Blanka and all the members of staff with whom we were in contact (receptionists/breakfast/housekeeping) could not have been more professional, personable and helpful. We are looking forward to returning to Hotel Carlton next year. Taking everything into account (hotel, location, staff, atmosphere) we simply wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Prague.  Very highly recommended.

Stayed at the Praha 5 with my husband and two sons plus their girlfriends (all in their 20s). We were all impressed with the wide comfortable beds, the stylish bathrooms and the friendly service. (I was there on my birthday and they marked it with birthday cake and towel sculptures :-)). The breakfast was tasty too and the hotel was very clean. This area of Prague is a 25 minute walk from the Petrin Tower, but very close to a good shopping area, and eating out around here is relatively cheap.

This seems a little contradictory but I've learned a lesson about reviews and that is don't believe everything they say. I learned that if you have a concern about your stay anywhere don't make a decision solely based on reviews. I did and I regretted it. I saw that there was a Hard rock cafe close to the hotel, read a few reviews and requested a room well away from the front. What I should have done was pick up the phone and asked if I should be concerned. We had a room on the second floor, overlooking a main pedestrian way in the busiest time of the year and it was silent and very cosy. If I had been at the back of the hotel on the top floor I wouldn't have had the lovely view and the pleasure of people watching as they shuffled past towards the market. The room and it's position was perfect. The staff were cheerful and helpful and the breakfast was very good and varied. The hotel is in the heart of the old town and perfectly situated. Plenty of places to eat near by as well as the hotel's own restaurant. Go off the beaten track and there are some very reasonable restaurants. I found a cheap pub too, not more than 3 minutes from the hotel. It's a small rock music type pub called the Back yard pub. Just around the corner from the Hotel and Hard rock cafe at the end of a small precinct. There are also plenty of other fairly reasonable bars near by. Back to the hotel. I'd like to thank all at the hotel but especially Jana the manager who was courteous when I made my incorrect assumptions about her hotel before I'd even seen it and for running an enjoyable place to stay. This is hotel at top location! Vibrant area, everything is in a walking distance. Good value for money. Staff is nice and breakfast is very good and has a lot of different things. Yes, a room is a bit 90's,but it was very clean. There is a night club below the hotel and on saturday there was some noise but since we were on the 3rd floor it didn't bother us at all. Overall we were satisfied because we were out all day and location of the hotel was the most important for us.

We stayed here for 4 nights and could not fault it. The staff were exceptional from check in through to leaving on our last day. This was one of the cheapest hotels in Prague when we booked & we were pleasantly surprised. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of the old town and easy to get to everything. We got there quite late on the Friday and the gentleman was lovely. Our room was on the 7th floor and was spacious and clean. The road outside can be quite noisy but wasn’t an issue for us. One thing I would mention is that understandably the rooms do not get cleaned everyday, so we had to ask for extra towels mid way through which wasn’t an issue. Bit of a smell from the bathroom when we checked in , can assume it was to do with the sewage system, again nothing major and that we couldn’t deal with. Do note the shower space In rooms on the top floor is not very spacious, if you’re extra tall you might struggle! On our last day we were able to leave our luggage for free of charge in a locked room so felt very safe leaving stuff here. Thankyou for a lovely stay! We will definitely look here again if we come back to Prague!
