I found it quite hard researching exactly where I wanted to base our stay in Montenegro. Hotel Libertas was perfect for us. The location is stunning and I wish I could wake up to the view everyday! The staff were so so friendly and helpful giving recommendations on where to eat etc. Lovely clean room, lovely pool area as well as loungers overlooking the bay. Only 8 euros in a taxi to the old town, but there are a couple of restaurants you can walk to very easily right on the water. Libertas thank you! Hope to be back one day.

What a lovely little hotel. The rooms were well appointed (though a couple of hooks in the bathroom wouldn't go amiss!) and the bed was super comfortable. We had a gorgeous view of Kotor Bay. The staff were delightful and very helpful. Breakfasts were good and the coffee was great! For a relaxing visit this was perfect.

Beautiful hotel, with a gorgeous view of the bay of Kotor. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Lots on offer for breakfast but a lot not to our taste but we never went hungry. The hotel was spotless and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Would recommend to anyone

Beautiful, calm hotel to stay, enjoy and relax. Services provided by all hotel personnel are always very kind and at a high satisfactorily level of standard! Rooms are very nice, the possibilty of car parking at the hotel is very convenient. Daily breakfast provided was of a wide range of choices and of high quality. Would definitely visit again!

Worst experience ever! Me, my family and friends will never go to this "hotel" again probably never to Montenegro again We booked the hotel and paid the deposit and when we get to the hotel they had sold the rooms to other customers for maybe only 100 euros more! and they took care to offer to help us find another hotel around Kotor! We lost the plan and had to go to Budva to spend the night and return home! Unconscious people!

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is pleasant. My only negative is that there really isn’t much close by. 1 shop that’s around a 20 minute walk there is a nice restaurant in a nearby hotel that they recommend on arrival which is lovely but doesn’t have much choice. There is a seafood restaurant a little further and a tavern that we had a horrible experience in the waiter was awful to us and the food was very poor I’d advise reading the reviews before you visit Konoba lanterna. This hotels selling point is most definitely the stunning location. Towels are provided around the pool and out on the terrace. We did a boar tour that we booked at reception which was fantastic. We had a fabulous 4 night stay in this very peaceful hotel and would definitely return

We booked two Libertas apartments with direct access to the pool. Upon arrival, we were informed that there had been a "mistake" and the rooms were double-booked. Without any sincere apology, they offered us two rooms under the roof for the same price. Imagine expecting a suite with pool access and being given a room under the roof instead! Additionally, we had prepaid a reservation fee of 150 euros in advance. When we asked to speak with the owner, whom we have known for a while, they refused. I strongly suspect this was done on purpose, assuming we would accept the inferior rooms because we were frequent guests. This experience completely ruined our vacation with friends.

Perfect spot for a break. Hotel is really lovely with comfy beds, quiet rooms, super friendly helpful staff & great choice at breakfast. Pool & swimming area on the water both lovely - you can have drinks served there also. We stayed for 6 nights & didn’t have a single complaint about the place. Perfect spot for a quiet break a walk away from busy Kotor town & some lovely restaurants to the left of the hotel along the bay :) highly recommend place to stay
