La struttura è molto bella, credo unica nel suo genere. Un antico borgo 800esco trasformato in resort che conserva tutto il suo fascino. Il servizio è stato quasi impeccabile, hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza. Purtroppo la Spa non è all'altezza del resort, non offre molto tranne due piscine, sauna e doccia emozionale. Il ristorante è abbastanza caro, se consideriamo anche che una bottiglia di acqua da 750 CL cista 6€. Peccato per l'errore sul conto commesso alla fine che ci ha fatto perdere molto tempo e creato disagio. Abbiamo soggiornato per un weekend al Grand hotel così come lo si può chiamare forse è quello che ti frega la parola grand hotel e quindi ti aspetti tanto così non è stato Avendo regalato un pacchetto compreso di pernotto , prima colazione e percorso benessere al mio compagno e averlo pagato profumatamente mi sono pentita amaramente di averlo scelto L’hotel è bellissimo stile 700 e non c’è dubbi della sua bellezza antica ma accogliere ospiti per la colazione in una sala fredda non è il massimo , colazione povera seppure continentale non era di certo di una struttura a 4 stelle Camere standard datate con vasca da bagno ammuffita e sciacquone del water mal funzionante L’altra nota dolente su cui stendere un velo pietoso è la Spa priva di doccia emozionale , bagno turco .. solo una vasca idromassaggio a cui su 14 bocchettoni funzionavano solo 7 con acqua unta e non depurata sala relax carina ma priva di musica rilassante e facendolo presente alla persona di cui si occupava ci ha risposto che ahimè era sola nn c’era personale sufficiente. Insomma un weekend che ha deluso un po’ le aspettative Un plauso però alla reception che ha accolto le nostre critiche che serviranno sicuramente a migliorare i servizi e chissà se migliorando ci si potrà ritornare

Hotel Villa Traiano is a bona fide luxury hotel. U.S. travelers, fear not: when I arrived at Benevento train station I thought, “Oh boy, we’re not in Kansas anymore.” I felt like I was whisked back to the Soviet Bloc with 30-year-old cars and 70-year-old tenement houses. But when the hotel’s (super friendly) private cab driver pulled up in front of the hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised. Villa Traiano is a legit hotel: ultra clean; beautiful, modern finishes; automated sliding glass doors; the whole deal. It is just like any current, high-end hotel you’d find in a major U.S. city. My suite (room 714), like the rest of the hotel, was clean, spacious, and had all expected modern amenities (digitally controlled A/C, beverage fridge, an assortment of high-end soaps, shampoos, and body lotions, plush bath robes, and soft, high-quality bath towels). Highlights included the supremely comfortable bedding, strong water pressure from the rainfall shower head, and the jetted tub. Breakfast was delicious with a full assortment of pastries, juices, yogurt, fruit, and cold cuts, and all the front desk staff were friendly and near-fluent English speakers. From someone who stays regularly at high-end hotels across the U.S., Hotel Villa Traiano comes highly recommended.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Cusano Mutri, Cusanarella Mia is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the city. The property features a garden, tennis court and parking on-site among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. All units comprise a seating area, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a toaster, a fridge and a stovetop. With a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and bathrobes, units at the bed and breakfast also feature free WiFi, while some rooms have a balcony. At the bed and breakfast, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Buffet and continental breakfast options with fresh pastries, fruits and juice are available each morning. The area is popular for skiing and cycling, and bike hire is available at the bed and breakfast. A children's playground is also available for guests at Cusanarella Mia. Naples International Airport is 74 km from the property.

Upon arrival in Limatola we followed our satnav to the hotel, when the satnav eventually stopped there was no clear signage as to where to go next but with Google maps on air view we managed to work this out and continued up the hill through a small arch way - we had an Audi A4 but anything bigger wouldn’t have made it to the car park. Upon getting out the car we headed to what we thought must be the hotel but we ended up wandering around for ages as there is no clear signage to the reception area. Eventually we found reception and managed to check in, the chap didn’t really speak any English at all and we had a fair hike with no lift to our room. The room was really dark with hardly any windows, the bathroom was tiny and again had barely any light at all, the room felt cold and even more basic than the pictures had shown prior to booking. There was certainly no fancy lighting in the bathroom and we had booked a Junior Suite - which this room certainly was not. Our room was located around what was probably the old dining hall and the hotel had covered the open air section in a plastic tarpaulin, it was very windy and this was making a really loud slapping noise which could be constantly heard in the room. The restaurant appeared closed and the minibar only had water or Prosecco so we decided to walk into town - there was no staff anywhere to be seen in the hotel and as other people have commented there appeared to probably be a wedding on that weekend. Limatola was like a ghost town, what there was was closed & there was nobody anywhere, we visited on a Saturday so we’re a little surprised by this. When we eventually got back to the hotel we decided to checkout straightaway and stay elsewhere, upon checking out the staff couldn’t have cared less and didn’t ask why we were leaving when we had only arrived a short while ago. It was such a shame as the castle from the outside is stunning but unfortunately the rooms feel unloved and uninspired, the hotel has potential to be beautiful but it appears they care more for the money from weddings than the accommodation they provide. We ended up staying in the close by town of Caiazzo, as this is where we had dinner booked & it was incredible, a gorgeous typically Italian town with a beautiful Airbnb, shops, cafes and a bank.
