This trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate. The rooms are quite large and the location is isolated and quiet. The beach is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful. The staff were all really friendly and the service was generally great. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which was great! All the events were really enjoyable and overall it was a really relaxing and memorable vacation! Shout out to the activities director Miki for making our stay extra special!

Hey all! As you have all expressed your fantastic thoughts, opinions and tips. I thought I would do the same. Your helpful hints and explanations were a great guide for us and I hope to do the same! A little background….we are a family of 4 (kid 10/4) traveling with another family of 4 (10/8). We had a master bedroom suite (club room 2311). We all went to the Finest last year and had a wonderful time as well. We have traveled to the DR frequently. 1. Arrival- we decided to do VIP arrival only because last year we were 30 minutes delayed from Newark and immagration took almost two hours and it was a night mare for us. The other party we flew with did not but the VIP and they were at the resort about 45 minutes after us. So in the end because of my 4 year old it was worth it. We started the vacation in the right mood VIP picks you up by golf cart from the plane to the VIP lounge. Your attend brings you in take your passports and transportation information and you are free to roam the small lounge. Soda, water beer wine and snacks are all there for your taking. She took our bag claim ticket to receive our luggage within 5 minutes we were out and off with beer wine water snacks in hand. They have a lovely bathroom (that we were barely able to use because it was so quick). We used destination meeting point for transfer without an problems… 25 minutes later we pulled up 2. We were greeted immediately, offered our name and was given our baggage tags. Whisked off to club lounge where we started the quick check in process. I asked to be introduced to our butler and Will was there waiting for us. He was the best! We saw him everyday he helped with reservations for 8. On the club level you can have bottle of non brand wine and liquor with mixers brought to your room. He made sure there was a bottle of wine and Dominican rum with mixers case of water, he would have cheese and crackers sent to our room chocolate covered strawberries alll without asking. He set up our room cleaning times and was a pleasure to be around. I will note we gave him $30 on check in $10 in between and $50 on our wait out. He was worth it in our opinion Key here is ask for what you are offer, need and want. Tip appropriate and all things will come to you 😀🤣 2. Our room was amazing spacious and lovely. We were 2311 (building 2) (floor 3) (11). If you are ocean view you want the last two number to be lower. The lower the number the closer to the beach! 3. I thought the food was amazing considering AI and the Finest last year. Remotest noodle and thread a must. The buffet Mercado was great too. Breakfast amazing and had some great dinner nights too We did waves for adults only dinner. Considering DR it was good. But if you are steak person you might be over the moon The coffee shop and ice pops and desserts are fantastic! 4. The resort is beautiful. PPengguna TetamuI was most surprised by the quality of my room and the wonderful service I received at Riviera Punta Cana Eco~Tourism Hotel. For the price I paid, it was hands-down the best in the area and perfect for my long term stay. The room was so clean & was well-maintained throughout my 2 weeks. It was comfy, cool, and relaxing and the best part, I was only 5 minutes walk to the beach, perhaps 3 if I had walked faster. Yet I was on vacation and truly took in the natural beauty of the grounds, music & vibes, and the authentic culture of all who worked here. What a team! Breakfast started each day off wonderfully and came with my stay. There are specialty local drinks and of all the island’s dinner choices, I ate here more than any other place. The cooks I would refer to as Chefs as they are gifted with making every meal a satisfying experience. It begins with the precedence set by the owners as Marcos cooked fabulous meals also! There is a love that exudes for everyone. I observed special assistance being provided for all persons saying here as they truly are happy to serve making Riviera Punta Cana Eco~Tourism Hotel a most happy place to be! ☀️🏝

PPengguna TetamuOcean Blue is a medium size resort. Not small. Not huge like Iberostar. However it has lots of fine dining (5) onsite just like the huge ones. Their beach is perfect with lots of free cabana like shaded seating. Only surprise was our scuba shop was onsite but actual dive boat was 2 resorts down the beach at Iberostar. A 10 minute walk, no problem. This side of island a bit choppy for diving. Smoother on South side. Resort super clean, safe and friendly staff. More young families and older couples. No Spring Break teens! Highly recommend this resort for families.

El todo incluido que ofrece era mejorable bajo mi punto de vista. Y por ese precio podía haber incluido el traslado. Instalaciones mejorables sobre todo el gimnasio que no es apto para ese hotel, se queda muy pequeño e inaccesible, parece un laberinto para poder entrar. Y el spa también se queda en muy pobre y ni siquiera incluido en la oferta del paquete de todo incluido con habitación superior. Cuando en España el 90% esta incluido ambos servicios, traslado y spa. Gran hotel gran cadena, pero mi cara de satisfacción por algunas otras cosas se queda indiferente por ese motivo...La variedad en el buffet de comidas tampoco era demasiada...se compensa con el trato al cliente y el entorno de playas vírgenes. Luego un detalle es la sobrepesadez en cuanto a vendedores ambulantes fuera y dentro del recinto...hasta con los masajes...

JJuliette BernadetteWe had an okay trip to DR. The “hotel” is more like apartments, and people do seem to live here actually also. The rooftop pool is so awesome, and literally the best part of the place. The room is clean, but we killed probably 4-5 cockroaches in the room. Stove was all rusty. When arriving, the door didn’t lock & we were 2 women in their early 20s who are both ＞ 130lbs. When requesting a new room, they “fixed” the door and refused to give us a new room. Scary location - we didn’t feel safe walking around at night here as women. Also, were scammed by a very nearby restaurant called “Bohio Punta Cana”. Free breakfast was awesome. No conditioner, only shampoo and “gel”? No hand soap. The shower seems to be salt water. I would honestly recommend staying on a resort if you come to DR, otherwise you might never want to come back.

WWILLIAMSSHEILAUpon arrival i found out that Trip.com botch my reservation. i booked a garden suite that offered a king bed or two doubles. My search was 1 room 2 adults i was giving Punta Cana. princess suites. the resort refuse to check me and my sister in because a phone rep told me that my booking was good for two. had to use my spending money to pay extra cause Trip.com did not put my sister on the booking. food was nasty, cold and picked over. fresh food was not put out often enough. Flies were all over the food. wait staff at the steak house was rude and nasty. Refuse to correct my order after they messed it up. Spent an entire night hungry. beautiful spot but will never go to this resort again nor will i book with trip.com

PPengguna TetamuThe resort itself was beautiful but there were pros and cons. More cons than I wanted. Pool closed at 6 pm so no night swimming which left little to do in the evenings. Drinks were weak, drank all day long with no effect. Food was the worst. The buffet was terrible and was really our only option since the snack bar ran out of burgers, basically lived on chips and salsa the entire trip. The restaurants which you needed to make reservations for was a joke. The reservation app didn’t work so you had to wake am up at 6 am to stand in line until 8 am in hopes of getting a reservation. The service was not pleasant. Workers badly made eye contact with you and you always felt like you were bothering them when requesting a beverage or asking a question. The resort has potential if they stopped it up on service, food, drinks and entertainment.

Aber zuerst zu den positiven Punkten: Positiv war: - Sauberkeit der Zimmer 7/10 - Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals 9/10 - Sauberkeit Pool 8/10 - Qualität und Angebot des Essens 7/10 Negativ war: Strand und Meer 1/10 Ein Grund warum Menschen dieser Welt die dominikanische Republik bereisen sind bestimmt die traumhaften Strände. Leider war dem überhaupt nicht so. Die vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellten Strände waren komplett zugemüllt, voll mit Seegras und im Wasser konnte man kaum schwimmen vor lauter Seegras. Nebst dem, dass dies total ekelhaft war, sehe ich als Rettungsschwimmer auch eine Gefahr in solchem Gewässer überhaupt zu baden da die Bewegungsfreiheit stark eingeschränkt ist. Als wir das Management des Hotels darauf aufmerksam machten, sagten sie uns dass es Ihnen leid tut aber sie nichts dagegen tun können. Ich finde das eine Lüge da das Arbeitspersonal den Strand reinigen hätte können. Für uns war der Strand, sowie das Meer völlig unzumutbar. Personal und Management 3/10 Sehr freundlich, aber keiner spricht auch nur 1 Wort Deutsch. Bei einem 5 Sterne Standard ist eine Dienstleistung, die man in Anspruch nehmen darf. Ich empfand das Personal leider auch durchgehend schlecht gelaunt, bis auf einige wenige. Trotz zahlreicher versuche mit dem Management über die Missstände zu sprechen, wurden wir immer dreist abgewimmelt und darauf verwiesen zu warten. So verbrachte ich schlussendlich 4 Stunden meines Urlaubs in der Hotellobby. Die Beschwerden wurden belächelt aber nichts passierte. Eine weitere Respektlosigkeit dieses Hotels. Aktivitäten vom Hotel aus 2/10 Massentourismusattraktionen auf völlig veralteten, Sicherheitsriskanten, maximal umweltunfreundlichen und überteuerten Touren. So kann man das Angebot rund ums Hotel beschreiben. Leider bietet das Hotel von sich aus nur Tourenan die doppelt so teuer sind wie im Internet zu finden, über die Qualität möchte ich wirklich nichts mehr sagen, ausser unterste Schublade. Es gibt keine Möglichkeiten zu tauchen, Kitesurfen, Wakeboarden oder anderer Extremsportarten. Das Undercover Kinderhotel Leider wird man auch beim Hotel verarscht. Das Hotel teilt sich nämlich das Grundstück mit Nickelodeon. Dies führt dazu, dass es sehr viele Kinder hat und sehr viele Kinderattraktionen. Ich habe nichts gegen Kinder aber als Geschäftsmann möchte man einfach seine Ruhe in den Ferien geniessen und nicht permanent irgendwelchen Clowns, Kinderlieder, Hüpfburgen, Urin in den Pools und dem Geschrei ausgesetzt sein. Mittouristen im Hotel Ein weiterer Punkt war dass ich das Gefühl hatte der einzige Europäer zu sein. Alle sprachen Spanisch. Aus Europa schien tatsächlich gar niemand zu kommen. Wir waren auch die einzigen hellhäutigen. Ich habe da absolut nicht dagegen aber etwas komisch war das schon. Fazit L

PPengguna TetamuThe pictures of the rooms looking over the beach were what we fancied. I found lots to do so my husband had something to keep him busy. The ocean view room, was perfect, with the terrace doors open you could hear the sea, the colours used are zingy and bright and the shower facilities worked well. The hotel is spotless, staff are forever cleaning. The food was varied and you have a couple of different restaurants, paying more at the sushi restaurant. ( well worth it ) Fabulous beach, with snorkelling and boat trips, the marine life is amazing. Most staff are obliging and genuinely friendly, taking time to chat if you look like you’re waiting around at any point. Whether you just want to chill out by the pool, or relax on the beach, this is a lovely place to do it. I can only praise this hotel. It was all it promised.
