We recently had the pleasure of staying at Wathura Resort and Spa for two nights, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the serene ambiance and warm hospitality set the tone for a perfect getaway. Overall, Wathura Resort and Spa exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, stunning surroundings, and luxurious amenities made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

This is one of the beat hotels I have visited in Sri Lanka with stunning views and luxury rooms. Rooms were spacious and food was extremely good. Only problem was the day I visited was a bit rainy so I couldn’t enjoy much outside. Dinner was fantastic and too notch. Special thanks goes to Mr Tharaka who was very supportive and friendly and was helpful on selecting our meals. Thank you Wattura ❤️❤️

We stayed one night in the weekend. It was a suit by the Gin oya. Room was spacious and clean. The stay was very relaxing and calming . Food was a course meal and it was great . Enjoyed the Beautiful beach and pool in the sunset. Overall a nice experience .

I went to Wattura Resort to spend the weekend with my family. Check in was very quick and reception staff was very friendly & helpful. The rooms were nice, clean & comfy. Food was good. There are few nice spots to watch the evening sunset nicely which was my favorite! Special thanks should go to the reception staff Nisal, Anne and Sakuni for making our first impression great & assisting us throughout our stay.

The overall experience at the establishment was positive, highlighted by friendly staff and delicious food options. From the moment we entered, the staff’s welcoming attitude and attentiveness made us feel valued. The restaurant had a set menu. However, there were a few drawbacks that impacted our visit. One of the primary disappointments was that the kids’ area was unexpectedly closed. This was a significant letdown, especially since we were not informed about it beforehand. Having young children with us, we specifically chose this place for its advertised family-friendly amenities. While the management did acknowledge this oversight by offering a 5% discount, it would have been preferable to be informed about such changes in advance. Additionally, the swimming pool, which was another anticipated attraction, did not meet the expected standards of cleanliness. It appeared to have been neglected, which made us hesitant to use it. Despite these issues, the rest of the experience was satisfactory, and the management’s efforts to compensate for the inconvenience were appreciated. With improved maintenance and better communication, this place has the potential to provide a truly enjoyable experience.
