Hotel not so far from metro can walk. The hotel is clean convenient to walk around. Staff is so kind and lively. Recommend 👍🏻

Great location! It's super convenient to get to Zhanqiao Pier and Zhongshan Road, and it's also close to the subway station – just one stop to Qingdao Railway Station. The hostel staff are quite enthusiastic. Since it's an old building converted into a hostel, there's no elevator, but the staff will carry your luggage upstairs. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was quite unique, a Western-style set meal for each person. What needs improvement is that the toiletries and tea cups in the room are all disposable paper cups, which is a bit laughable.

Fantastic atmosphere! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful ❤️🔥, and it's super convenient for getting around. The little dog 🐶 at the place is adorable! 😍 It was a truly wonderful experience.

This is my very first time to be Qingdao. I found a wonderful Hostel ever. Their building are over 100 years since builded. Good designed furniture,Good sense pictures  displayed around inside. in addition,almost staffs can speak English well. and delivered delicious dishes for breakfast. I will return to the hostel in future.thanks!

Facilities: Fantastic, a truly novel experience, very different from large chain hotels like Hanting or Greentree Inn. The retro architecture gives it a rich sense of history. Service: The ladies at the front desk were all incredibly helpful. Any questions about accommodation or travel were met with the best advice. In the room, there wasn't just a beautifully designed booklet introducing Qingdao (P1), but also various thoughtful reminder tags (P2). Atmosphere: There are many international travelers here. As a hostel-type accommodation, extroverts would have an even more amazing time (though introverts would find it perfect too!). There are also various meditation rooms, outdoor balconies, and other spaces to explore. Location: It's a 10-minute walk to the church, and Qingdao Station and Zhanqiao Pier scenic area are reachable within a 15-minute walk. Famous dining and entertainment spots like Shuangheyuan and Lüshi Gedatang are all very close. Zhongshan Road Metro Station is just a few hundred meters away. No matter how you get around, the location is incredibly convenient (Laoshan Mountain is a different story, of course~). In summary, it was an absolutely perfect stay, and arguably one of the biggest surprises of my trip to Qingdao~

The location is fantastic, very close to the Catholic Church, and there's a great pedestrian street nearby for shopping. The hotel itself is clean with a charming vintage vibe, and the service is excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Western restaurant inside the hotel – the food was delicious, and it transformed into a cozy little bar in the evenings, which was very convenient. It's also easy to get around, great for catching a taxi, and not far from Qingdao Station.

The best hotel stays for me in Qingdao. Very good location with walking distance straight to the old town. Its a 100 old building with good maintenance. Will definitely come back again.

The environment is great and very clean. You can access the inner courtyard right downstairs.

Front desk staff were accommodating. Dexter has a good english command and same with others in their restaurant. Very accessible to Zhongshan road and othe food galore. Hope to stay again there if time and vacation permits.

It was quite an experience staying in a century-old historic building. You can still see the original rooftops, and it maintains a distinct international atmosphere. ⭐ **Amenities:** I booked the attic twin room, which was the most budget-friendly option, for two consecutive nights. (Even piecing together various offers, it ended up costing nearly 400 per night, but that's just how it is during peak tourist season.) * The spring mattress was quite creaky when sat upon. * The pillows are quite thick, which might be uncomfortable for those accustomed to flatter ones. * The wooden floors are quite noisy; even light steps cause significant vibration, and you can definitely feel it when kids run riot in the hallway. * The room lighting is quite dim, with incandescent bulbs, so don't plan on reading in the room at night. However, there's a meditation room and a lounge area between the stairs that are perfect for reading or getting some work done. * There's a laundry room available: washing costs 3 RMB for 25 minutes, and drying is 15 RMB for 1 hour. However, 1 hour isn't quite enough to fully dry the waistbands of summer pants. * The bathroom is quite small, though it's clear they've made clever use of the limited space. Still, it's a bit cramped when showering, and the water temperature tends to be on the low side. * The air conditioning fan speed is preset, allowing only temperature adjustment. Rooms directly facing the vent can feel a constant draft. The first night, 26℃ felt too cold, and even 28℃ on the second night was only marginally better. * The TV is quite old-fashioned; I switched it on once and didn't bother using it again. ⭐ **Ambiance:** The historic building itself has a rich cultural heritage, and it's delightful just to walk around and explore. From the rooftop, you can spot the church spire nearby – it might not be the best photo spot, but it definitely indicates a desirable, prime location. ⭐ **Service:** Excellent and very thoughtful. They offer free parking, which is a huge plus given how difficult it is to find parking in this area. Since my room was a 'budget' option, breakfast wasn't included. However, their restaurant is conveniently located downstairs, and guests receive a member discount. I ended up eating four meals there during my two-day stay, which gave me a pretty good 'deep dive' experience into their dining. ⭐ **Cleanliness:** Very clean. ❤️ **Important note:** The historic building doesn't have an elevator. My room was in the attic on the fourth floor, and after a day of walking 20,000 steps, climbing those stairs left my legs like jelly. Definitely something to keep in mind!

I didn't take any photos, but it was just as advertised, and a very comfortable stay. The pillows were just like home, the room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete. The location was convenient, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. The Western breakfast and the environment were excellent!

The location is fantastic – right on Jining Road, very close to the Dabao Island Scenic Area. It's also within easy walking distance of bustling streets like Zhongshan Road, Jiangsu Road, and Anhui Road. Public transport, including buses and the subway, is readily accessible, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The surrounding area also boasts plenty of great food options. The hotel itself is housed in a century-old German-style building, which was a wonderful experience. We even received a complimentary room upgrade, and the staff kindly assisted us with our luggage. The service was exceptionally warm and thoughtful; we are very grateful! There's a Western restaurant downstairs, and the breakfast was excellent too! 👍 Qingdao has undergone significant changes, and this trip offered us a fresh and delightful perspective. We would definitely love to visit again if time permits!
