Hotel berhampiran Les Jardins du Petit-Pré, Quebec

The location is a little far out about a 10 minute walk to the old town downtown. Would not be so bad in the summer but we came during an ice storm and the sidewalks were not the most walkable and it was hard to get a cab on the weekend. But the hotel itself is very nice, the pool and spa were great. The rooms were large and had good amenities.

我覺得地點很好，只要走一點路就到城堡區，有名的景點都在附近！停車也方便，接待人員很親切，提供很好的服務！價格其實很親民，如果以性價比跟附近飯店比較…我認為是很不錯的選擇！這次我們住在11樓 ，房號1120 看過去的view 真的非常好！其實四樓有設置游泳池..很多人進場使用，一樓也有SPA..他的一樓餐廳其實很不錯…但是我們並無訂餐！因為飯店出門右轉就看到一排我認為是魁北克最安靜的用餐街…可以盡情享用早中晚餐甚至宵夜！消費其實不會比一般貴…每人均消大概30元加幣…一群人share 吃 可以更低！不過在這用餐很悠閒啦！飯店的床很好睡..電視也是65-70吋的大電視，每一間都有浴缸…其實是很不錯的選擇…大家可以選擇為魁北克旅途中的飯店。

We had a king suite, meaning a full pull out sofa and a large room. Corner room on the third floor (which is called the second floor here). The ground floor is the tourist center and you simply take the elevator or stairs up one floor to reception. Friendly reception staff and house keeper. Amazing views of the Musee du Fort, Chateau Frontenac, Place d’Armes park across the street, and Dufferin Terrace. Street performers out front, but they were done by 9:00 pm. We really enjoyed them. Comfy bed, including the cot we asked for. QUIET hotel. Good Wi-Fi and adequate outlets. We controlled the heat, and figured it out fairly easily. Nice rainfall shower along with a handheld function if you want it…..water got HOT just for a minute or two but it was gradual, and I just waited it out. TV was not working at all, but I just pushed all the buttons until the cable started working…lol. We had a nice refrigerator…no microwave but they have one if you ask. The room and hotel have really been updated with stylish decor, but you still get the 1810 feel of the building. Location simply can’t be beat….we did the double decker bus tour which leaves right out front. We also did the underground excavation tour underneath the Dufferin Terrace, a two minute walk. And Starbucks in the Chateau Frontenac is a one minute walk. (We also walked beyond the Chateau at dusk up to the highest point in Old Quebec, to see the AMAZING view. It took five minutes to walk there). Parking underneath City Hall is a seven minute walk back to the hotel. I give Manoir Morgan 4.5 bubbles….the only little things that knock it down a little bit are a lack of actual blackout curtains (although the shades are not bad), and the price was a bit steep ($250 on a Sunday and Monday). Also the ceiling lights were VERY bright, while the lamps were dim. Need one really good lamp. But high praise for this gem.

Beautiful hotel and room. The location is good in old Quebec but to get to other locations requires a walk down and up the steep hill. Amenities such as the gym is quite basic but does the job.

Hotel Manoir Ste Genevieve I’ll try to give an honest review of our four night stay in September 2022. What we liked: 1. it’s in a great location close to everything you want to see old Quebec. 2. It’s very cute. 3. Our room was clean. 4. The price was reasonable compared to other properties in the same area. What could have been better: 1. Once we arrived and checked in there was very little contact with staff. Our room was not serviced and we were responsible for getting towels, coffee and room essentials and emptying trash. However, that really wasn’t a big deal and we understand that staffing shortages are huge problem. We also noticed that the hotel manager would leave early and leave an envelope with keys for guests who had not yet arrived. 2. The outside upper deck is in real need of attention. There is old furniture, dead plants and broken pieces scattered around. The owner needs to clean this up to make it attractive to guests again. If you are looking for luxury and service, this is not your hotel. The stairs are steep and our room was small. That said, it was a good stay considering the location, quaintness and value.

如果衹是趕路住一晚就走，這家酒店是個不錯的選擇。位於市區外圍高速公路邊，交通方便。酒店雖然沒有早餐，但對麪就有一家Tims，實在太好。房間設施衛生不錯，服務也滿意。衹是法裔加拿大人有點特別，我去check in時，前台正在接電話，貌似很小的問題講了很久。去酒店沒拍照，發張古城的風景吧。

The arrival at the hotel started badly with a young receptionist full of germs she kept spreading in her tissue and around (as if we did not just get out of a pandemic that showed us how far any virus can travel) and she started laughing at me in French (assuming that I do not speak over 10 languages including French) saying that I want a room taken by another customer: how rude of her to assume that. The older manager thankfully intervened and the room we checked in via the app was given to us, explaining to the manager, however sick from the road I was, that we did not want something extraordinary: - the room had the lines of the newly built hotels we stayed in the USA and just like in the USA, this room proved to have poor insulation between rooms, slamming doors and the trepidation noises on the hallways to make stuff vibrate in the room. Thankfully everything stopped soon after 10pm and we had a good night sleep only disturbed by the construction next door the following morning, however quiet those people were trying to operate their machinery - parking at the back of the hotel is safe and thankfully Google satellite helped us immensely with travelling to and from Quebec City trying to avoid the major road works happening just about everywhere - the hotel is located near a major shopping area and a Walmart great with icecreams and drinks we always like having - breakfast at the hotel included warm items and it was varied although people kept taking multiple tables to sit and talk: I guess the lower floors were rather busy since we hardly heard any talk up our floor - the manager was kind in thinking of sending a warm up gift, although I wish the young female receptionist would receive further training and stopped assuming things she wanted to assume about customers who effectively pay her salary

床很舒服，早餐不錯，服務很好，離transcanadian公路很近方便，所在地是利維市居民區，步行200米有大型超市IGA。
