Everything was good!

Suites mit Pool Terrasse dazu zu klein. Kann vom großen Pool sehr nah eingesehen werden. Dadurch entsteht wenig Eindruck eines privat Pools. Auswahl im Restaurant bescheiden. Fitness Studio sehr klein. Kein Komfort wie wasser oder Handtücher. Pool wir überall überfüllt. Keine liegen erhältlich ohne frühzeitige Belegung durch Handtuch. Sehr gut war die kleine Terrasse wo Crêpes Kaffee und Getränke ausgegeben wurden. 5* fraglich.

After reading the mixed reviews about the hotel I was a little apprehensive, however we had an amazing time. The queues for the bars were not as bad as previously reported, food was not our cup of tea but we always found something to eat. We didn't rate the speciality restaurants either. My granddaughter loved the spaghetti Bolognese. The pizza on the beach was good. The staff were brilliant and when we encountered a problem with our room 613 in the middle of the night we were moved with 30 minutes and with no fuss. George and Arland on the golf buggies were amazing and went out of their way to assist us as our room was at the top of the hill. They are a real asset to the hotel. My eldest granddaughter really enjoyed the crepes and had at least 2 every day. We had one of the new pool rooms 644 and it was lovely however we didn't have any shade and it was very hot. I do believe that they are awaiting umbrellas so that will help. The water in the shower is not very hot but it didn't cause us any problems and i am sure that as these are new rooms any teething problems will be ironed out. Can highly recommend the boat trip from the beach to Lindos and also Mourella restaurant and Mosa cocktail bar across the road.

It was our first time visiting the Greek islands as a young family and we stayed at the Mitsis for 4 nights. The hotel itself was outstanding. The staff were very nice, the hotel had an extremely clean environment, amazing food, nicely furnished and spacious rooms. It had great recreational facilities and activities and to that we were absolutely grateful. However, I deducted a star because for us The Guest Departure care required a bit more attention. We were on vacation with our infant and had a 10pm departure. Knowing about this upon our arrival we asked for the possibility of a later checkout and were assured that once we came to the reception one day prior to leaving, this could be resolved. Unfortunately this was not the case and we had to check out by midday. We were allowed to use the hotels services for the day, but were told we must have a reservation to use the showers in the lobby area…. We no longer had one because we were leaving -_-…… Anyway with our long wait time still a factor we decided we could have one last swim and pass time by the pool , but could not get towels as there is a strict schedule for them being issued.Bummer. We then asked at the reception if we could arrange a trip to Rhodes town to pass the time, but they were not very helpful in this regard and instead we arranged this through a baggage storage company that offered all the necessities a small family could need until our departure. Ultimately instead of being stuck wandering the luxurious lobby with a restless infant and unlimited drinks. We were able to experience the old town and have a comfortable sendoff and conclusion to our trip. A little aftercare would go a long way for some. Thank you for reading. Will definitely visit Rhodes again.

We came back less than a week ago and had a really fantastic time. there are a few things that could have been better but it's clear they have just finished a massive renovation and they are working to resolve them. The new areas are really great! the Gym looks awesome, the views over the infinity pools are stunning, Amphi theatre and entertainment is great fun, if my kids were younger I know the splash park would have been a god send, the drinks are freshly made the only ones that come from syrups are the fruit juices and the bar staff will pretty much make any drink you ask ( this was dangerous once I realised they made Long Island Ice Tea! ), We used the Creperie alot! and the ice creams are nice ( not a lot of choice but changes quite often through the day) You definitely need to get the mitsis app and book your restaurants well before hand, we got a tip from a friend who had been here and were so glad we did! we tried all of the restaurants and enjoyed them all even the Greek which was the most dreaded by the kids they ended up ordering seconds!!! We did have an issue with the Italian, not sure why but it took a very long time to get food ( think this was a one off though as others said they didn't have this issue there on other nights ). Special mention for Adela in reception who went out of her way to try and get us a seat at the Italian so we could try it again. The Beach and beach bars were my favourite! the pizzas are really good and variety of toppings. One of the bars also does hot dogs and cheese toasties which we used alot and the water sports are pretty reasonably priced and the staff running it really add to the fun! Overall the staff are friendly and although they aren't always able to be on top of everything, we found if you are friendly and understanding they really do go out of their way to help. The main pool does get quite busy and It does feel like 2 different hotels between the main original pool area and the new infinity pools and splash park side have a very different feel. There is a general issue with sun beds and I think staff probably need to do something to avoid the issues around people saving beds and not using them for hours. Mention here for Antonio the lifeguard, very friendly and thoughtful also on the ball with watching children in the pool and issues around some slippery steps a few people got caught on. We are a family of 4 with kids aged 9 and 12. We stayed in a Family suite garden view so that kids would have a bed each. Room is clean and decoration is modern, unfortunately it seems all family rooms of this type aren't available in the new renovations and ours had a great view of the coast but also the extractor fans of the restaurants, we were only really in the room to sleep so didn't impact us too badly and when we mentioned it to reception we did manage to get moved to one of the new rooms ( meant we had to share a bed for a little while as they arent really setup for a family of four) which mea

Hotel was super amazing, food, staff, room BUT one thing that really affected a little bit our experience was the people reserving the seats by the pool at 7am with their towels and then showing up around 11-12 and complaining and/or being rude if someone took their spot. Hotel should be more pro-active with this situation. But all the rest was absolutely amazing.

loved the sea view bungalow we stayed in! it was modern and close to a pool as well as dinning and the beach!!! however, i didn't think the other rooms looked as up to date. I didn't see the inside but the outside looked a little ran down

Its my worst trip so far. The room allocated to me was fly infested and a bird nest right in front of our door with bird poop all over the front of our room and the birds flying over our heads as we entered and left the room which made me very uncomfortable. I also had over 20 flies on the ceiling of the room. I requested for a room swap but was told it was impossible. This i did at about 3pm on friday and then 11pm. The first time i was told there wasnt any availability until the next day. Whan we got to the room later in the evening, i was accused of coming to later to complain so my room will have to be sprayed at past midnight after waiting for over an hour. Ibwas also offered a sister hotel at past midnight. Nothing was done until i brought out my phone to record. I didn't get any audience until about 2am and didn't do to bed until about 4am when they offered me a room. Porter even mentioned that i will be moved again after 2 nights and i said no. This is unacceptable and made my experience really unpleasant and was unsettled for the first 2 days.

This is a perfect hotel for solo travellers. I would definitely visit again but in early summer as the majority of the excursions, bars and boat trips were shut as it was approaching off season. This is definitely a 4* hotel (not 5* yet) I think the food in the main restaurant lets it down. Pro's: - Clean and tidy room and a lovely modern bathroom with daily house keeping. - Beachfront hotel with multiple pools, lounge area's and daytime/evening activities for all ages. - Excellent customer service from all staff *(Jeta, Andreas, Vasileios, Arland and Erion)* Cons: - Extremely difficult to get a booking at the A la Carte restaurants (I had to repeatedly speak to the restaurant management to get 1 on my final day). - 1 hour taxi ride/2 hour bus ride to the main Old town/Airport
