Great travelodge, in very good location with clean and fresh rooms.

book at your own risks - if u want a quick over nite this might be ok, heater not working well, stained linens, no hair dryer, room super duper small, no space to place even a carry-on, impatient receptionist & very poor service, safety hazards on the wet floor in the bathroom (with a sign to remind guests) but i wonder why no bath mat was provided at all. location wise is about 4-minute walk from Richmond Station if u don’t get lost in that zig-zagged route.

They won't let you leave your suitcase there. What's even worse is that even though it's a hotel, there's no water in the shower or taps. I stayed there for two nights, but there was no water, so I couldn't brush my teeth or wash my hair. Other people said that the water cut-off was more than just a one-time thing, so I guess the water supply is cut off on a daily basis. There was no refund or compensation for this. It was the worst hotel.

The room was very clean and had enough facilities for a night's stay. The only thing that is not provided in the room is a hair dryer, but you can borrow one at the front desk. It has good access and is surrounded by restaurants and shopping streets, giving the impression that it is located in a high-class residential area.

Clean and modern hotel. I recommend it for price. 40 minutes from the center with Public Transportation.

Working all day and to come back to a lovely clean room with fresh towels and tea coffee making facilities was just perfect. Good night sleep 10/10

The hotel is located in the center of Richmond, very close to the high street, 5 mins walking from the railway station. The rooms are a little on the smaller side but very clean and comfortable. No bar & cafe which is a downside but plenty of cafes and restaurants around. The windows do not open and no LUGGAGE STORAGE. The staff is very efficient and the check-in was quick.

Great location for Richmond. Close to all amenities. Rooms at the back of the hotel are quiet as opposed to the front of the hotel on a busy road. However the back rooms are somewhat smaller but a compromise to have no noise. There is no communal relaxing areas such as a bar or lounge which means if you’re with others that you want to meet at a certain time or have a drink while you wait you have to meet outside. The rooms are available to upgrade with a coffee machine and pods and are also well equipped with electric sockets (some with USB), mood lighting fitted into the headboard, blackout curtains, 2 extra pillows (all comfy) and sufficient towels. There are no drawers and approximately 6 hangers (we were in room 216) That may not be the case in other rooms. Just to note there are no toiletries and the showers have curtains as opposed to screens. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

The Room was spotless and a great temperature. The guy was very helpful reception at reception and helped with sorting out wifi for me

I stayed at the Travelodge Richmond for a few nights while visiting London for a family event, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. The hotel is in a perfect spot — just a short walk to Richmond Station, with easy access to central London, and surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, and lovely green spaces like Richmond Park. A special mention goes to Neil at reception, who was exceptionally helpful throughout my stay. He greeted me warmly on arrival, made check-in quick and easy, and went out of his way to offer local recommendations — from the best coffee spots nearby to scenic walks along the Thames. His friendly attitude really made the place feel welcoming, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about guests having a good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet — exactly what I needed after long days out. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Richmond or London in general. Great value, great location, and top-notch service from Neil and the team!

The staffs are very helpful, the rooms are very clear , also the bed are very comfortable. We have stayed for 4 days me and my family loved the hotel . We really recommend this hotel .

The breakfasts are a joke,Cancellation of the following breakfasts has been refused, they have no parking, The view from the room is horrible, it's not possible to open the windows, The reception staff have no power over either extending your stay or cancelling breakfast.
