Hotel Best Western di Rome

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

Très bon emplacement. La douche un peu petit pour une personne de grande taille. Bon matelas, très grande télé. Hôtel le plus proche du stade olympique qu’il peut avoir. A refaire lors des prochains séjours à Rome.

We recently stayed at Best Western Globus hotel in Rome for 4 nights and we were very disappointed in the room provided to us. On the first night we experienced a/c trouble so we contacted the front desk, they sent a technician to our room who tried to fix the problem for around two hours but was unable to. We were then told that the problem could be fixed in the morning, and in the meantime, we were given a fan for the night. The second night the a/c stopped working again approximately at 12-1 am we again called the front desk but this time they did not have a technician so we were told to wait till the morning for it to be fixed again. The third night we arrived in our room at approximately 8:30pm to the a/c not working again we then requested to change rooms that night. We then able changed rooms where the a/c finally worked. I was very disappointed in the service provided to us, we were unable to enjoy our visit to Rome in these hot days as we were tired every day from not getting proper sleep and no a/c made the nights unbearable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing trip.

El hotel es un poco antiguo pero muy limpio y el servicio es bueno, no está muy céntrico pero la verdad que tiene una parada de metro a 350 metros y Termini a 750

The service at the counter is great but the room was small with a double bed pushed against the wall and not much room to move beside it. The shower is also very small. There's a fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities. You can buy coffees and alcoholic beveridges at reception if that's your thing. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Metro station.

The front desk attendant (young guy in his 30s with curly hair: on Tuesday Jan 10 5pm Rome time @ ARS Best Western hotel): The front desk attendant - he was threatening me with violence and was yelling obscenities telling me to f-off and to f-myself! I work for the embassy and nobody has ever talked to me like that ever! I don’t know what his problem was?? 😔 This is inexcusable / he’s telling me to f myself, and that I’m an *****, and to go f off - nobody deserves to be talk like this, no matter what. It is so sad because I stayed almost a week at this hotel and I really enjoyed it, all the other people were super nice and the service excellent! I am really sad, and I don’t know what the heck happened with this guy - I think he has mental problems & needs anger management therapy. So sad 😞 Ricardo

Very nice establishment, great service, very clean, had everything I could need and was easy accessible by bus which went straight to the Center of the city. Amazing breakfast with a view on top of the building. I will definitely come again.

Location is in a residential area far from centre, no food places nearby at all, buses good 6-20 minute uphill walk! Mattress was hard and really uncomfortable! Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again ever if it was free!!! Had a bad experience our final night, don’t know if it’s his real name or not,… “roberto” ( heavy set old man) threatened and harassed us outside where our taxi was waiting for us at 3:30AM all because I had asked what his name was. Already late for the airport and we had to deal with being shouted and threatened at, thank god for the taxi driver who intervened. Extremely unprofessional behaviour!! God forbid you get sick and need help here, I kept having to ask this employee only one there at night for a blanket only yo be ignored because he was too busy having a conversation with another male guest in his language. If you speak Italian and are make then you get special treatment but if your females and only speak English here then it’s a different attitude!

房間明亮，設施齊全，乾淨整潔。憑着糟糕的英語竟然成功入住。早餐也很不錯，內容豐富。性價比高。住了四晚本來一切可以給個好評。但是，房間緊挨着餐廳，一門之隔。早晨七點，叮叮咚咚的聲音響起，酒店答應可以換房間，可是我早出晚歸不願意折騰。問題是，對於這間有噪音影響的房間，酒店應該事先跟客人打好招呼，不然，即便是換房間也有酒店人為造成之嫌。實在是跟酒店的名聲不匹配。給大家提個醒。

We were greeted by the amazing Lorenzo at the front desk. He was there for our three day stay and was extremely helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is close to a bus stop and the metro so easy to get around. Recommend Wild West restaurant 10 minute walk.
