Our 3 day stay here was booked at the last minute. We hoped for a decent hotel. It was much more than that. It’s a little out-of-the-way, so taxis from here to the city center are a must. No problem reserving with Uber. It’s peaceful and quiet at the hotel. Spacious lobby with a restaurant, bar, & outdoor seating. There is a generous breakfast available. There’s even a pool for warmer weather. The room was clean and large enough for 2 people & the beds were comfortable. AC could be cooler. Bathroom, tub area needed some bleach but it was otherwise clean and well stocked. Staff was very friendly. Giuseppe at the front desk was extremely helpful. He took care of our bags, recommended an excellent local restaurant, made the reservations & arranged transportation for us. He had lots of information for us. I would recommend the NH Villa Roma Carpegna for a relaxing, informative, worthwhile visit to Rome.

The hotel is so clean, not as some reviews I read before about it. The man in the receptionist whom I guest as the manager is so nice. He is always friendly and supportive. The location is perfect, near the train station and it took me not long to go to all tourists spots. I am a female solo traveler and I feel safe to stay here. I will choose here if I have chance to come back.

We stayed here for 8 days in August. One adult and 2 teens. Had the family room with the loft area had 3 twin beds. Pro’s- Clean, near Roma Termini, nice neighborhood with restaurants and bars near by, felt safe, nice courtyard to sit and have a drink, about a 30min walk to coliseum area, friendly staff, spacious room, housekeeping came everyday and gave us fresh towels if we wanted and cleaned. Con’s— the shower was very small and drained very slowly, there was no mirror in the main room so if someone was using the bathroom you could not do your makeup at the same time. Overall this was a good hotel for the price. I would definitely go back again. Although if my husband was to come we would have to get a room with a bigger shower as he would not fit.

Hotel was in a great location. walking distance to the main railway station and to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Good nearby bus links to the colosseum and the circus Maximus, and only a ten minute walk to the nearest underground. The hotel did a buffet breakfast which was very convenient, and had a mini bar in the room which we didn’t use, but the prices seemed reasonable for a hotel in Rome. Good restaurants nearby also.

I had problem with the air condition during all my stay they came three times to fix it but no solution!

索菲特酒店🏨衞生很好，設施也好，環境可以；早餐美味可口，餐廳服務人員態度比較禮貌周到，保持微笑；遺憾的是意大利🇮🇹羅馬Sofitel索菲特酒店🏨人員不知道是怎麼回事了呢？有史以來住過的五星酒店裡麪態度最差的，到門口酒店服務人員從來不會給客人們拉門（據觀察不止我們哈），滿嘴聊天內容各種不禮貌滿嘴臟話🤬，素質令人驚愕不已，態度各種令人無語，不禮貌，不周到，不服務，不知道自己的工作內容和工作態度。難道是意大利🇮🇹的Sofitel索菲特酒店🏨不僱傭合格素質人員？或者公司不負責員工培訓嗎？或者公司工資給的不滿意？或者意大利🇮🇹羅馬工作人員就是這樣的呢？（其他入住的意大利🇮🇹酒店工作人員是表現禮貌的！！！）或者這幾位專門來工作的Sofitel索菲特酒店當上帝的呢？ 僅供大家參考哈。

I really wish I could give 5 stars as this hotel is gorgeous in most part, especially the pool but sadly I don’t think iv had a worse nights sleep in a hotel anywhere in the world. We had a double double and the beds were so hard and uncomfortable and creek everytime you move, the doors may as well not be there as they offer no sound proofing to the outside areas and the door in our room 119, has the handle hanging off. I think if the hotel has areas that play loud music until midnight it should offer some level of sound proofing for those who want to sleep before midnight as we want to be up to explore Rome/ have children. Last night we had a group with young kids screaming, crying, cheering like at a sports game right outside our room 11pm until gone midnight, at one point the children had got into the children’s play area and were smashing the xylophone so loudly, I emailed reception to ask if they could manage this but got no reply. Not the tranquil experience I had hoped for as our base in Rome. We had room service a couple of times and ate on the balcony, the food was delicious but ordering it was always a challenge as the rules seemed to change each time we phoned (yes we have pasta, no we don’t) one time they took the order and phoned back to say they couldn’t actually fulfill the order until 7:30pm (we phoned at 5:00pm) bearing in mind their own restaurants do not open until 7:30pm and there is no shops or restaurants around the hotel, it’s pretty poor given we have a young child who was hungry. On a positive note, the pool is stunning and really offers a fantastic place to cool down after seeing the sights of Rome. We were here September 1st-5th and the hotel didn’t seem at full capacity so there were plenty of sun-beds. Breakfast was also great, served as a buffet but something for everyone and lots choice, the ladies welcoming and the staff taking the plates were all superb and very friendly. The interior of the hotel is stunning, lots of pretty nooks and chairs everywhere. The pool bar sells pizzas which are delicious and sandwiches which I would avoid as they were as dry as hell, also gelato and snacks. The guy serving wasn’t the friendliest and possibly the only member off staff we in countered who wasn’t super helpful and friendly. The hotel is spotless and the cleaning staff work tirelessly to achieve such levels, they deserve a thank you! Thank you Villa Pamphili but we wouldn’t return until you improve the soundproofing in the rooms and invest in new beds!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. After reading one review left previously I was a little sceptical, I shouldn't have been and it just thought me what I already suspected.some people cannot be pleased. This hotel was charming and quaint and we would be delighted to stay here again. On first sight the area surrounding the hotel does appear run down and rough.howevever after exploring the surrounding area our opinion quickly changed. Any shop or restaurant we went to we found everyone to be extremely helpful and gracious. The hotel itself is a little gem. Our room overlooked a small courtyard and we had a balcony with a seating area. Beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. On arriving back the second day after exploring Rome we found our beds had been remade and the room cleaned.the bathroom was obviously recently renovated and was spacious.and had a lovely large shower . Breakfast in the morning was more than adequate and a bargain at €5 a person. As for the staff.each of them that we dealt with were more than happy to offer advice on public transport ,giving us a map and writing down which bus/train to take and where to embark and disembark etc.they booked us a table at a local restaurant and a cab on our request.all was done graciously and without any annoyance. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who likes something a little different and unique.

Perfect position for the event we needed to attend and well connected with the tram. Not too central if you want to walk around the city though. Nice staff, all very friendly and welcoming. Clean room, maybe a little small but it’s ok. Spacious bathroom, although strange choice of location for the wc (if you’re tall you might hit the shower door, I certainly did). Vanity and welcome set were very appreciated, especially the slippers and the toothbrushes. The breakfast is nice and has a lot of options, unless you’re vegan (hopefully they do and you just need to ask). Overall, nice place.

Hotel pulito e accogliente, staff gentile e disponibile. Buona posizione, sono riuscito a trovare parcheggio auto senza problemi ed a Roma non è assolutamente scontato
