Cavour Suites Guest House

What a lovely small hotel. We stayed in a small 2 room suite with our young granddaughters. Very clean. Ciro and Cristiano ,the owners, were very friendly and helpful as were their staff. Breakfasts are exceptional for such a small hotel. It is in a good location for shops and eateries. Of particular note is San Marco Pizzeria just around the corner. The girls loved it.

I had originally booked to stay at the Domus Cavour Guest house, having stayed their before in 2019. I received notification that I had been moved to its sister hotel, the Cavour Suites, and initially was a little disappointed. I need not have been as the Cavour Suites are equally as good. The location is perfect for seeing all that Rome offers, 10 minutes walk to the Vatican, 15 minutes to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, and 30 minutes to the Coliseum. The room was immaculate, clean, fresh, and a great size for 2. The bathroom was pristine, and although we had an issue with the shower on the first day, it was fixed within 24 hours. The breakfast is continental with meats, cheese, toast, eggs, yoghurt, and the most wonderful fresh pastries and croissants. The room was cleaned and kept spotless every day. The real jewel in the crown are the staff and the service. From the moment I booked I received personal notifications. Any questions I had were always answered immediately over email. The taxi transfer service was excellent, and I was text the name and number of the driver as I arrived. Any issues or questions I had whilst there were always answered and the staff all tried their best to make our stay a great one. Special mention to Elena, who throughout our stay was very helpful, and she went out of her way on our last day to help us as we had a late flight home. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Cavour Suites to anyone who wants to have a city break in Rome.

Upgrade bed and bath linens The hotel requires two sets of steps inside building. It is .7 miles to St Peter’s.
