Hotel berhampiran Villa Mirafiori, Rome

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

che dire MAGNIFICOOOOOOOOOOOO Villa a circa 4 km dal centro ma ben servita da mezzi pubblici: fermata bus a 50 mt e in circa 20/25 min si arriva a Piazza Venezia; fermata metro Sant’Agnese - Annibaliano 500 mt e in circa 10/15 min. si è in centro a Termini/Colosseo In zona ci sono alcuni ristoranti, quindi no problem per cene o pranzi Dispone di un parcheggio auto immenso; appena varchi il cancello sembra di entrare in un'altra dimensione, pace tranquillità pulizia. Splendido il giardino. E che dire della colazione al 3° piano: Troppo e Troppa......paste giganti (sembrano essere di stare in una pasticceria), dolce, salato e cameriere super gentili e premurose. Dispone anche di una terrazza che si affaccia sul giardino e parcheggio. Stampe pulitissime e con area condizionata. Reception eccezionale, sempre presenti a qualsiasi ora e con una gentilezza non comune. Lo consiglio 1000 volte per visitare Roma e dintorni. Dopo le giornate intense a visitare le attrazioni di Roma nel caos del traffico e nella confusione, questo posto ti rigenera nel silenzio e tranquillità. Accommodation in Rome is insanely overpriced at all price points…However, if one wants to stay in central Rome then this is definitely a great hotel to stay at. Clean, modern, great customer service, extremely comfortable bed! What more can one hope for from a couple of nights stay. It should be noted that the area around Termini is not the nicest in Rome, however the hotel is at least located in the (relatively) better part of the area around termini.

Привозила в этот отель группу туристов, в основном, пенсионеры. Отель отлично расположен, прямо напротив есть автобусная остановка, откуда можно доехать до ЖД вокзала Термини (и не только), рядом станция Roma Nomentana (примерно 4 минуты пешком), метро тоже в пешей доступности, минут 7. У меня была группа пенсионеров и им не составило труда ходить до метро каждый день, так что рекомендую. Завтрак у нас был включен, состоит из меню, в котором есть три раздела: напитки, выпечка и дополнения (джемы, масло, хлопья и пр.) из каждого раздела можно выбрать по 2 позиции (всего 6 позиций получается). Поверьте, это достаточно сытно. А таких вкусных круассанов мы нигде не пробовали, потом долго их вспоминали и сравнивали с другими. В целом, если завтрак не входит - это не дорого. Каждая позиция стоит от 1 до 3 евро. Кстати, ресторан в котором проходят завтраки при отеле - вечером становится ”просто рестораном” с очень вкусной едой и доступными ценами. У нас вся группа там успела пообедать/поужинать и все в полном восторге. Мне этот ресторан FIGO рекомендовали даже мои итальянские друзья в Риме! Номера чистые, просторные, ежедневная уборка и замена полотенец - отдельный плюс! В номере всё работало. У одной пары из нашей группы плохо работал душ - сказали на рецепции, всё исправили в этот же день пока мы гуляли! Есть лифт, что очень важно для нашей группы и в целом, чтобы поднять чемоданы наверх. Рядом с отелем есть множество отличных магазинчиков, в том числе с готовой кулинарией, которой можно пообедать в лобби отеля. Сам отель расположен на станции метро Libia, она находится на ответвлении синей ветки римского метро, поэтому тут надо рассчитывать время. иногда поезд приходится ждать по 11 минут, но если вы уже бывали в Риме, то вы в курсе, что метро здесь не ходит как у нас каждую минуту. Рассчитывайте свой время. Со станции Рома номентана мы ездили с пересадкой в Тиволи, очень удобно. Прошли 4 минуты, проехали 1 станцию чтобы не ждать автобус и пересели на поезд до прекрасного Тиволи. Моя огромная благодарность сотрудникам отеля за такой радушный приём!

Rome was just a quick stop on our trip to Italy. We know staying at an IHG property is always a safe bet when it comes to quality standards and Ambasciatori wasn't the exemption. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived early morning and our room was not ready yet so they went out of their way and called the office so that we could store our valuables in the hotel safe while our room was ready. Once that was taken care of we decided to venture out and walk around. Ambasciatori enjoys prime location, being on Via Veneto just a short walk from many sights, including Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi and, of course, Via dei Condotti. Our room was standard size as well as the bathroom but the highlight of the room without a doubt was the huge balcony where we enjoyed having our morning espresso. The concierge and the doormen were always eager to help us book reservations, call taxis, give us directions... If you stay there you can't miss Charlie's Rooftop Bar. A great option to unwind after a busy day of walking, sightseeing and shopping. Either you want some snacks or just a cocktail i'm sure you will enjoy the lively atmosphere, the view and the fresh air. Do definitely consider staying at the Ambasciatori if you want quality, luxury, comfort and location.

We booked a triple room, was plenty big enough for us, although there wasn't really anywhere to put empty suitcases. The room was clean and comfortable. Air con didn't really work though, so it was a little warm and it would have been nice if there was seating on the balcony as we would have used it more if that was the case. The fridge and kettle were a useful addition. Breakfast could have done with more vegan options, there was no soya milk or spread, but we were able to get things from the local lidl (about 10 mins walk away) to take down with us. There was plenty of fruit and we noticed on an allergen list that there were vegan cornetti, however we had to ask a member of staff to point this out to us as the item itself wasn't labelled. My 12 year old loved the cornetti and ate 5 at our first breakfast. During our stay staff were there when we needed them but not intrusive. It was easy enough to get into rome Policlinico metro was about 5 mins walk away and it was easy to purchase tickets at only 1.50 euros. We liked 'pizza dai cinque' across the road to pick up a quick bite to eat, they also usually had at least 3 cheeseless vegan options which were very tasty. You do occasionally hear sirens but I can't say we really noticed it all that much and it was a lots quieter than being in the centre of Rome. All in all a very good place to stay for the money.

The hotel is situated right behind the Metro B line, only one stop from the Roma Termini metro station (or you can walk to Roma Termini by foot, which takes about 8 mins). So it's super convenient to travel anywhere by metro (but please note some metro stations may not be closed without prior notice). Our room is tiny but tidy, with all kinds of toiletries available (including slippers). The shower area is quite spacious compared to other hotels/hostels we stayed in during our trip. Our booking didn't include any breakfast, but we got some pastries and coffee just downstairs (there are a few cafe bars nearby). Will definitely come back if I am in Rome next time.

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.

Great hotel! Beautiful pool and pool area. Nice clean rooms with good air-conditioning. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel offers free onsite parking, free wifi, and has a new gym area. 10 Minute taxi ride to the center. A great value for your money. We are looking forward to returning soon!
