"For the price in relatively central London, it’s not bad as they provide a simple and clean room. But few things for the rating, and why amenities is lower in terms of score: It’s a budget hotel, so they need to have other services to upsell you. Luggage storage costs 15 GBP, which is crazy especially when you are paying essentially 100 USD for one night. Putting aside the one room cleaning every 4 nights (only giving you new towels everyday), the main shortcoming lies in a poor ventilation system and the over reliance on a relatively nauseating lavender scent. Sure it’s not that strong, but that coupled with the stale air makes it quite a suffocating experience. I aim to be fair in my reviews, but coupled with general service - the staff can’t lend pen, or paper, or even make an effort to? Like the seeming unwillingness on such an easy task is confusing. Wifi went out for the first night, and there’s no reception of any kind in the room, so was pretty bad. Took one whole day before it was resolved. TLDR: Would opt for a hotel with windows, and it’s not worth paying so much for this."

"A great place with plenty of space. Check-in and check-out were both very easy. The apartment had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, a fridge, and a microwave. It was also very clean. However, the curtains were not blackout at all, and both had some issues, making it even harder to block out light. It was very easy to be woken up by the sunlight in the morning. But other than that, this place was really nice!"

"This was for my child's birthday, and they had an amazing time! We'll certainly return. The hotel even provided a complimentary little cake 🧁, which my child adored. The hotel's pool was fantastic, and the direct access to the O2 was super convenient."

"Great experience staying at this place, easy, smooth and fuss free. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from the train and DLR stations and a short stroll to the vibrant Greenwich with all its attractions. We particularly appreciated the little kitchenette as we cook all our own meals. The bathroom was nice, spacious and warm. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay and would stay here again. Great value compared to what's available in London."

"The Holiday inn express Greenwich is in a great location close to the 02 arena. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and comfortable beds, the shower and bathroom is very nice. Me and my wife had a lovely time staying for one night. Much nicer than the Travel Lodge. "A well located hotel 5 minutes from a DLR station a range of eating places locally although the hotel restaurant turned out to be a good option. helpful staff and a decent size room, but a bigger tv and a more modern shower would have added value to my 3 night stay "

"Good location, many shops around, close to the station. There is almost no heating, so wear more clothes. The service is OK and relatively clean. Excessive energy saving and water saving is a problem that this type of hotel has to face."

"The location is pretty good, conveniently situated near Greenwich town center, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, and dining options within easy reach. It's particularly convenient for those visiting the nearby Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and the University of Greenwich. The Royal Observatory is also close by, roughly a 20-minute walk or an 8-10 minute drive. However, the hotel's facilities are quite basic and a bit dated. The room size was adequate, and the bathroom was rather standard. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, especially for a business trip."
