i had a mixed experience that left me quite disappointed. While the hotel boasts some lovely amenities, the service I received was subpar, particularly from the reception staff. Upon arrival, I noticed that the receptionists were more friendly and welcoming towards clients who booked through a staycation website. As a Bonvoy member, I felt discriminated against and less valued. This was especially evident when I requested to change my room, even offering to pay extra, and was bluntly refused. The hotel was clearly not fully booked, so this response felt unjustified and dismissive. My experience at the spa was equally frustrating. I was not provided with a bathrobe and was told to go to the reception to get one, only to be informed there that they were out of stock. When I returned to the spa, they refused to give me a bathrobe, stating that they were reserved for certain customers only. This lack of coordination and helpfulness was disappointing The gym, however, was very nice, which is why I'm giving two stars. It was well-equipped and pleasant to use. The living room area was also beautifully decorated, and the staff I encountered there were kind and professional, in stark contrast to those at the reception and breakfast buffet. Speaking of breakfast, my experience there was uncomfortable. Initially, I was greeted by a friendly woman, but when she left, her replacement made me feel very uneasy with his constant scrutiny. This ruined my appetite, and I left the buffet early. Overall, while the rooms were clean and well-decorated, and the gym and living room were pleasant, the lack of basic hospitality and the feeling of discrimination greatly marred my stay. I hope the hotel can address these issues, particularly with their reception and breakfast staff, to improve the experience for future guests.
