Reading the previous reviews, it makes me wonder if we stayed at the same hotel! We've just spent two nights here over the Easter weekend. The room was great (booked a superking), but the breakfast was not good at all. On checking in, the reception staff warned us several times that it can get very 'chaotic' at peak times and we should avoid those times. It wasn't the 'chaos' that was the problem, it was a very limited choice of food coupled with poor management. The first morning there was no fruit available apart from some oranges, and on asking for some I was told the fruit compote had run out (this wasn't at the end of the breakfast service either). Eventually some bananas were brought out. On the second morning the fruit compote was actually frozen (I literally had to cut the strawberries with a knife, and my partner couldn't eat his). There are only four hot items served, so on some days there are no eggs because there's eg hash browns instead. The sausages were so awful I didn't eat mine (& I always clear my plate!) On one of the days the croissants had run out, again even though it was nowhere near the end of the breakfast period. The serving staff look overworked and stressed, and I feel very sorry for them as this is clearly not a well-managed hotel.

Very nicely presented room, but on the smaller side for a couple to stay. 1 side of the bed wasn't accessible. Bathroom very modern and shower was very nice! Bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have stayed at in hotels. Although above a pub, I stayed on a Friday night during Christmas nights out and although you could hear the music when back in the room, it soon became part of the background and it didn't disrupt my sleep at all. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and the hash browns were fantastic!! In summary, very pleasant stay for a solo traveller but could be disappointing if a couple.

When we arrived there was plenty of parking available which was a plus point for us. We approached the reception to check in, and they were very welcoming. There may have been a small issue with our booking I'm not sure what it was maybe our room was not ready but it was resolved quickly and we got upgraded to a King room with river view. I got asked how I'd like to pay for our visit, but I had to inform them that it's already been paid online. After dinner we stopped at the beverage counter for a hot drink and soft drink. The server was really nice and she was accomodated to our needs. The room itself was spacious and modern. We really liked the smart TV as it gave us more options to watch something. The bathroom was nice as well however the toilet was a little stained. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location for this hotel next the Worsley Old Hall - the countryside really is the winning feature. Good gym, Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna. Food is excellent and drinks are good. Rooms are nice but dated - I won't go into this as I've learned they're about to undergo a refurb which will hopefully bring it right up to date. Room sound isolation isn't great - you can hear doors slamming, people talking, loud TVs and people peeing in the bathroom above (or next door?). for the price I would not expect this. having said that the beds are typically Marriot style super cosy so with some earplugs you'll have a great sleep. The security was a bit weak on the room - heavy front door is good, but the back patio door just has a flimsy latch on it. stayed 8 nights - overall a very comfortable stay, thank you. Staff were friendly and helpful

Great location, with free parking. Lovely comfortable bed, large room, clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet great, plenty of choices. Easy check in and check out.We will definitely stay again.

Second time staying but this time at Citysuites 2. Absolutely in love with the heated pool and steam room. Also tried out the fully-equipped and well-spaced gym. Reception always friendly and helpful. Room fresh and clean. Lovely selection at brekkie. Highly recommend the Eggs Royale. Will defo stay there again next time we’re back.

The scenery is good, the room is big, easy to park, there is a supermarket nearby, there is a tram, quiet, there are restaurants and bars downstairs! It would be better if the faucet in the sink was changed 风景好，房间很大，方便停车，附近有超市，有电车，安静，楼下有餐馆，酒吧！ 如果把洗手台的水龙头换了就更好

Front desk was welcoming and friendly Price was best for city centre only being 20ish minutes walk away Room was okay, quite spacious but TV didn’t work, heater was not on when walked in, and there were mould on ceilings due to probably water leakages from toilets above. It was quite bland but can’t complain too much because price reflected this. However, would stay again for a cheap night in Manchester
