Great place to stay with family. We highly recommend staying on the 4th floor which had the least amount of street noise, is closest to the pool and had an incredible sunset view from your private porch. It is a good idea to rent the golf cart through them directly and it gives you the option to see the island.

Aileen and her staff was exceptionally accommodating. It was reassuring knowing that Aileen and her staff were so responsive. My family and I had a very unexpected journey that delayed some of the family arriving the same day as planned. Aileen and her staff made several pick up and drop off’s to make sure we arrived at Casa del Rai safely. One of the rooms I slept in was located on the street side which caused it to be a little noisy. But ear plugs fixed that right away and I slept comfortably. My family and I definitely will be staying here again. I can’t thank Aileen and her staff enough on how accommodating they’ve been even after we left. Aileen’s staff video called me, to help me look for very important documents I thought I left behind is above and beyond exceptional service. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for more of a home/family feel. versus a resort.

Casa del Rai Guest House is the place to stay. Being south of the bridge on Ambergris Caye, it's super easy to walk to many activities: over water restaurants/bars, artisan market, and town. We have stayed three times now - 2021, 2023 & 2024 - each two weeks at a time. The owners and housekeeper live on the main level. There is also a person who comes daily to work in the building. All of the individuals are trust worthy and so friendly. The gated entry, which is locked each evening, adds a layer of comfort & security. Golf carts are available to rent and are in good working order and nice to have on hand to rent daily or weekly basis. Costs are similar to rent from other spots. Each condo available has a table & chairs on an outdoor patio - the 4th floor gets to see the sunrise, but roof access is available for all to see. The sunset available on the pool level is beautiful. The pool on the roof is great, along with the bar/hut and lounge chairs. Our crew has used the pool many times! The internet connection has no issues. You can keep up on work if needed. A full kitchen includes a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and stove/oven (rarely used! ;-). A veggie stand and bakery across the street are super convenient. A perfect home away from home! We've stayed in Citrus (2-bedroom) and Teal (1-bedroom) - both on the 4th floor.

You can't go wrong with Casa Del Rai. The location is convenient to everything in town. We stayed in the three bedroom unit and it had everything we needed for a great stay. The rooftop pool and deck were amazing with great views and a refrigerator to keep your drinks chilled. Aileen and Randy, as well as the staff were always on hand to answer questions or just have a friendly conversation. We highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. We've been all over the Caribbean and Central America and the people here rank at the top for friendliness.

We stayed here for 8 nights in November. Highly recommend this place. Our apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable bed. We were up on the 3rd floor, so a bit of stairs to climb, but one floor up from us is the rooftop patio and pool. The views are amazing from here. We spent a lot of time of there during the rainy days. The hosts, Randy and Aileen, are wonderful people. Turns out we are from the same area in Canada, and had some lovely chats with them. Their staff are also great people and very helpful. The location is great, steps to the beach, and within walking distance of great restaurants and pubs. We rented a cart from them and had parking within the gated compound. It really felt like home for the time we were there!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Casa Del Rai and wow, just wow!! Our two bedroom suite was absolutely perfect. Location is right in town and within walking distance of great restaurants. The rooftop pool/palapa/ outdoor space was beyond incredible!!! You have the best views. We rented a golf cart through them as well and it was one of the best rental carts we've had ~ price was great too! The host, Aileen, greeted us after she sent someone to pick us up at the airport. Aileen and Randy were the nicest and friendliest hosts ~ very responsive prior to our arrival too. There's even a pet turtle on property who we became very fond of!! This was our 6th trip to San Pedro and Casa Del Rai has to be one of the best places we've staved. Without question, we would book here again ~ you just can’t beat that rooftop pool!!
